I wrote this article to emphasize Microsoft's unfair disc replacement policy. The Xbox 360 damaged my game disc, so Microsoft should be at fault. However that is far from the case.

sounds like this moron needs to take it a little easier on his equipment. I don't know anybody (including myself) who has a 360 who has had anything near this bad of an issue with the console. - KnockoutNerd, on 12/10/2007, -0/+3Too bad they only cover RROD, still nice for them to fix it and send it back free of charge. They should take a page from the book of Nintendo and fix it no matter what is wrong with it (within reason).

- Omnilink, on 12/10/2007, -0/+1I just wanted to drop in, and say that Microsoft or UPS (not sure who) was kind enough to call me today to let me know that they would be dropping off a package from the repair center tomorrow. I take back what I said about not ever getting any notification from them. I'm crossing my fingers for a new console instead of a refurbished unit. I will report back soon.
