- joegibes, on 10/10/2007, -2/+37I like this ad a lot. And the Gamer Fuel flavor isn't bad either... Better than Code Red IMO.
- ZephyrNinety, on 10/10/2007, -0/+27Livewire+Code Red=Halo Mountain Dew
It is scrumptious, IMHO. - Azap, on 10/10/2007, -3/+23gamer fuel? more like gamer crack
- dolemite5005, on 10/10/2007, -2/+16Gaming + Beer > Gaming + Mountain Dew
- BryanTravers, on 10/10/2007, -3/+16Yes, America always wins.
- LonesomeFighter, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9"America" can be everyone since we have a variety of everyone. anyway, ya the black guy drinking the dew was an American.
- sp1r1t, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9Welcome to the free world.
- whisperedlie, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9playing stoned or drunk people online is absolutely infuriating. unless of course you are drunk or stoned.
- skyfire1, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5They couldn't have swearing in english.
- amjustice, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5I loved this commercial, very creative. My wife always thinks its funny when I hit the arm of our couch or get pissed while playing halo, I sent her this video and it cracked her up. Also +1 for the fuel, I think it tastes pretty good.
- AzraelKans, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6Well.. theres no mountain dew outside America so Im guessing this IS targetted at Americans only.
- TheGreatNico, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6I don't know what you guys are talking about, that ***** is good, the commercial idea has been done already, but the dew is good, almost as good as Pitch Black; the drink.
- TaLoNxNL, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5There's no Mountain Dew for sale in The Netherlands!
- opnickc, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Bad for your stomach? I mean, sure, your teeth, mouth, and possibly the rest of your body (didn't I just read that high fructose corn syrup can lead to diabetes?), but what's it going to do to your stomach? Yeah, it's acidic, but no more so than OJ (mountain dew gets it's acidity from citric acid, unlike colas), and certainly not as much as your natural stomach acid.
Not saying it's good for you, but I don't think your stomach is what you should be worried about. - WITFITS, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4I think they just took Code Red and LiveWire and mixed them together. That's... not exactly a good thing.
[edit: ZephyrNinety said the same thing an hour ago and I didn't notice. We'll have to agree to disagree on its scrumptiousness] - Camphlobactor, on 10/10/2007, -0/+4Here's the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTm7jSxBSi0
Great commercial. - AzraelKans, on 10/10/2007, -1/+5Nice ad made me laugh out loud ;)
Er... whats the point of asking if those countries have the soda?
a.-Obviously the only one who has the dew in the commercial is the American which is the one winning.
b.-You are not supposed to take it seriously, in case you do heres a shocker: AXE wont make woman rape you anywhere. actually it would be a terrible thing if it did... in certain cases. - TremorX, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6Your taste buds are just tainted from tasting so much ass. For those of us who keep our tongues far from the chocolate starfish, Gamer Fuel is delicious.
- futureisours, on 10/10/2007, -2/+6you can say they have an excellent marketing team.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3"TremorX" 's comment brought to you by PepsiCo. Corporation.
- BrandonMills, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3Oddly enough, Digg started out fairly intelligent, but the entire 'mass appeal' thing meant accepting any outside input and treating all submitted knowledge as 'the same'. Problem is, 'the masses' aren't all that bright, and it seems the nature of articles that get posted on Digg become more and more 'mainstream', ie not really all that informative or useful. I admit, in the beginning, moderated sites like Slashdot looked pretty bad in comparsion to Digg, but as time has gone on, Digg's article have been getting fairly....retarded. Furthermore, many agencies from political to commericial have been using Digg for free advertising. Speaking of free advertising, what's the article about again?
- UlicBelouve, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4Mix it with a bit of Tang (orange or otherwise). Then you have your crack. Rates fairly highly at drinksmixer.com
- EXreaction, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3That is some ***** sarcasm if it is. Sounds like an average retard to me.
- Gogogo111, on 10/10/2007, -1/+4AMERICA, ***** YEAH!
- firedrillduckie, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3You know, I would think real Game fuel would be some new technology where liquid quenches your thirst, gives you energy, but doesn't make you pee.
... and satisfies hunger, while you're at it. - DiggedyDoo, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3German is a funny language.
- illustrick, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2i'm not fat ;D i am 6' and 155lbs with 12% body fat -=)
- EXreaction, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Thats Carbonated Flavored Sugar Syrup...
- BobsYourUncle, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3A longer version of the commercial, with the company at the end of the ad: ( http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RAFy4F-Iwrc )
- flipper227, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I found some once. It was in Maastricht (sorry if I butchered the spelling), at some store selling Levi's. I bought all the store had.
- IanPatterson, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Anyone seen this drink in Canada yet?
- sp1r1t, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2It really is surprisingly tasty. A couple of my co-workers at Gamestop say they suffer from insomnia when they drink one. And I find myself quite focused and awake after drinking one. I think they may be including crack inside. =/
- hoos30, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3Oddly enough, there was a SOCOM commericial a few years back with the same narrative, only in the end, the winners were "real life" Navy SEALS "shooting fish in a barrel".
- ChronicColonic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2devjunkie's comment brought to you by Mountain Dew.
- NeoCortex, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Wouldn't Pitch Black: The Drink just be coffee?
- kosh55, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3I agree, but it is a free market and this stuff seems to work on the simple-minded. These comments are proof of that.
- lakush, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2I will buy this disgusting blend of chemical waste solely for its packaging.
- Sixcolors, on 10/10/2007, -1/+3It tastes like Runts.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+2Hype can make even the most mediocre ads seem greater than they really are.
- PopeJubs, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Blargh....ew.
I'll take the crab juice - Wiesemborski, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Yeah... that guy is a commi, too (former east-germany with a THICK accent).
Oddly, he is saying "I am FREAKING out [in a negative way] - I WON!!!" - EXreaction, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1How much would guys pay for some Dew? I'll ship it for a small fee! :D
- BigJ27, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2"Wonder if the Halo 3 version of Mountain Dew is even available in all those countries featured?"
What difference does it make, the winner, who is drinking the mountain due, is American, where it's available. The rest, or the losers, were not drinking it. Why is that sentence needed? - DaviDaviDaviD, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Americans are better at Halo 3 because of Dew? Hell yes!
- jakeamoore, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1This post to me, felt like reading Nickelback lyrics, no thought whatsoever.
- Sixcolors, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1I think it tastes like Runts candy.
- Peltsi, on 10/10/2007, -1/+2Wrong! mountain dew has been available in Finland since 2002.
other countries were you can buy dew are Canada, New Zealand, Australia, Norway, Poland, Iceland, Germany and Switzerland - Wiesemborski, on 10/10/2007, -0/+1Oh, and no more Mountain Dew in Germany since circa 2001 - effing bastards.
