And for last stand, the person who brought the person down in the first place still gets the kill, regardless of what happens next.

    It looks like the Barebones TD is not hardcore though, or if it is, it isn't stated there... which kind of sucks. I want a hardcore server without perks, airstrikes or choppers.

  • bluemist, on 07/29/2008, -0/+8These new modes are modifications of existing ones though. I want to see a unique gameplay idea. A new teamplay objective? Or new kill-streak bonuses? New perks? I hope IW has lots up their sleeve aside from their recently released new maps.

  • xino, on 07/29/2008, -0/+7All playlist changes are free and is done automatically when you go online. The only thing that isn't free in Call of Duty 4 is the variety map pack, but there are no playlists today that require you to have the map pack and they didn't mention that these will require the maps so I am pretty sure that they aren't going to force you to buy the variety map pack for these.

  • xino, on 07/29/2008, -0/+7I am pretty sure it's coming to the PS3 as well although it's not official. Playlist changes are almost always simultaneous between X360 and PS3. The only time I know that it wasn't simultaneous is when the maps came out because the maps came out later for PS3.
