Labor for repairs is very high-margin, so very valuable for the company, whereas products usually are very low-margin (other than cables/accessories).

            If they don't know how to do it themselves, they are paying more for the expertise than for the actual procedure, as there's usually hundreds or thousands of hours of training/experience behind any particular technician (again, usually).

          As for the cases, we use them store high value product that would be regularly placed in line.. things like RAM for laptops, High Capacity memory cards for cameras, video games, etc. So, seeing it on another product, while stupid, isn't something that you should be putting on a website supposedly devoted to protecting consumers, rather than creating a completely baseless bias.

Their posts that don't get on the front page are lucky if they get a few thousand views. The posts that get on digg get 10s of thousands of views.

          We carry these sites and for what? Low quality reporting, second hand summaries of second hand summaries from other blogs, getting ads plastered in front of us and finally having to cut & paste into the Google search box in our browsers just to find any relevant information.

If you want to be cheap and use boxes with install stickers on it for xbox games, then you are responsible for the scorn by your consumers.

        The reason I didn't explain, is that I figured Diggers would get it, and when Digg was in it's prime, every one would understand it, and if you were being sarcastic, you wouldn't need to put sarcastic tags on *****. I guess that time is long and gone. Next time I'll be sure to explain it to you guys very slowly.

Then we just did it, because we knew it'd be faster to just get it done than to argue with that diminished level of intelligence the managers constantly displayed.

I came in for a shift and noticed them on all of the books and magazines that they sell up front. After that, the managers put an end to that game rather quick.

    Anyway, like others said, these cases get used on a ton of stuff and just got thrown on a game after being in pc/home office.

Usually it's hardwired, so you don't have wires dangling everywhere. (I have a GPS, iPod FM transmitter, iPod charger, etc lying around my car, it gets messy)
