MGS4 will come out only on the PS3, at first. Later it'll be on other systems. JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER MGS. Even if this were announced to be fully true - IT IS NOT NEWS. NEWS would be if they announced it will never come out on anything BUT the ps3. THAT is a break from the total history of the franchise. According to the report he also stated ...
Kitaue said Konami may need to expand the target hardware for its blockbuster fighting game Metal Gear Solid, which has so far been developed for Sony's PlayStation machines, to other consoles in the future to recoup development costs.
This obviously is implying ... IF THE PS3 does not pick up in consoles sold, they won't have a choice but to port it to make their money back in development costs.

The 360 is $440. It is a game console, a 20GB HD and one controller.
How can you say the price drop should've been $100 more? Sell the five Blu-Ray movies for $40 each and then sell the controller for $30 and your PS3 will have cost $250. It's comprised of a threat and the most straightforward interpretation is that some version of MGS4 will end up on other platforms. This was almost certain given how MGS has worked in the past.
