- tehpwnrate, on 10/11/2007, -1/+17Hopefully they will make Legendary more fair. I'd like to see similar damage from most weapons, but less from beam rifles. Remember Outskirts on Legendary? Marines could take 2-3 beam rifle hits, but one hit ANYWHERE and you were dead, instantly.

Also, if you play through on Legendary on your first time through, you'll get at least 655 points. I think I'll do it on Heroic first so that I can enjoy the game and get 530 points instead. - DaKing240, on 10/11/2007, -0/+11While it would have been nice to have the link go to us, when the news hit, I sent the link to sites that have linked to us before, and makes news posts to help us spread the word. Fanboy, along with many other sites were included on that list. Fanboy was the quickest to act, and they made the Digg post. In the future, we ask that the link goes to us. Either way, we are dealing with the issue, and realize that Fanboy will not make these mistakes again.
If you are a news site, link to us, and let me know. I can make sure you are one of the first sites to get the achievement news in the future when we unveil them.

This was the list in the beta code uncovered by 7th Columnist. He was pretty close in a lot of things, but the level names where placeholders (and thank god). - HBNDonut, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Halo 2 Legendary is pretty easy when you know how. I know a few shortcuts through some of the levels which help... but Im not about to start typing those out (you can look for them yourself on HighImpactHalo.org)
5 things you need to know though:
- Sticky Grenades are your friend.
- The Noob Combo works awesome for killing Elites.
- The Combat Flood Forms have a weak point on thier chest which will give you a one hit kill with a Carbine.
- Dual needlers are possibly the best method of dealing with berzerking brutes.
- Dont rush enemies when they are behind cover, instead you should throw a grenade to flush them out and keep a strategic distance. - Crackhippo, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1can someone explain what "meta-game" means?..is that co-op or something?

I also hope that since we can't make numerous profiles for Halo 3, the skulls should only have to be collected once, then thier effects can be toggled on/off at will. You cant have fair gameplay if everyone is running around in all kinds of different shapes and sizes with loads of character models. Ever heard of balance?

The whole point is so they get money from advertising but nobody goes to their blog (because they have no origonal stories, see above) so they try using digg as a revenue model to drive traffic to their site which makes no money.

Completing missions and finding ***** make up the bulk of them. I was going to complete the missions a couple of times anyway, not too achievement worthy IMO. Beating the game? yes. Every mission? Why?
I hope skull hunting is better than cog hunting. Couldn't they find something more interesting and innovative? Yes I know I don't have to do them if I don't want to, and I probably won't.
At least some of the online achievements are good.

Lucky for me its only a challenge, Halo 1 was decent for legendary, but halo 2 was a bitch on the flood levels. -
