- BarbaraKolbe, on 05/16/2008, -0/+4Lovely photos from China. Take a look! Quite a contrast to what currently showing on TV re: earthquake devastation. Incredible how open the Chinese press allowed to be in its coverage. I hope it continues.
- sonnygill, on 05/16/2008, -0/+3Puts things into perspective when you take a look at these pictures and then see what's going on now. I did my part in helping the relief fund.
- nicheprof, on 05/16/2008, -0/+3Gives you a feel for the beauty of the culture and people that many know so little about. For example, how many of us realized that a city most have ever heard of was larger than New York City in population or that the quake impacted 1 out of every 50 people on this Earth? This tragedy also reveals the way that two countries cope with the sharing of a tragedy and their willingness to allow others to help.
