- Kanele, on 07/07/2008, -0/+26"a source of drugs like hashish and marijuana"
- capnkid, on 07/08/2008, -0/+23... a source of drugs like hashish and marijuana. Cannabis can also be used to manufacture pot, weed, herb and ganja. Additionally, drugs like hemp, sinsemilla, dope, grass, mary jane, tea, and reefer may also be synthesized from cannabis. Indeed, there are over 420 different drugs produced from cannabis.
The more you know... - wishninja, on 07/08/2008, -0/+22yea I had a second take on that one as well. How does one differentiate between Marijuana and cannabis and who is reading the story knowing what hash is but has never heard of the term cannabis? Whoever the hell writes that crap must live under a rock. lol@retard reporter Ho Binh Minh.
- Surferess, on 07/07/2008, -1/+20Dead Bodies=Great Fertilizer.

- Shaman760, on 07/08/2008, -0/+8FREE THE WEED
- bromac, on 07/08/2008, -0/+7You're right, there is a difference.
And you don't grind your material (which would be any part of the plant, including bud) to dust. You'll just push more green through the screen.
Hash is the refined cannabis product made by collecting the resin glands that form on plants (AKA "crystal"). You can do this by rubbing ground (but not to dust) and chilled material against a silkscreen, or using other methods such as water/ice extraction (you put the product in ice water, the green freezes, and the crystals that freeze and fall off you collect on another filter/screen) or by using a solvent such as alcohol or butane.
Anyways, the resin glands resemble a powder if you sift it over a screen. This powder's known as kief, hippy crack, crystal, and other names, but kief primarily when it's a precursor to the final hash product.
You have to heat and press the kief which bursts the resin glands, which form together into the putty-like hash bricks you see commercially. I have no clue why you suggest to chill it after it's pressed - it's only critical to chill the material prior to the processing to prevent plant oils and waxes from leeching out.
Really, this is pretty basic chemistry and botony. Only the ignorance perpetuated by its prohibition prevents a better understanding of this wonderful and SAFE plant. - jhnsnp, on 07/08/2008, -2/+8You mean marijuana is not made in a lab?
- inactive, on 07/08/2008, -5/+11In Communist Vietnam, marijuana crops harvests YOU!
- Tyrghast, on 07/08/2008, -0/+6I hear joints are good for you, but that can't be true! I mean, cigarettes are legal and marijuana illegal, meaning pot must have some serious, life threatening side effect!
- Murdats, on 07/08/2008, -0/+5after reading it several times I think its meant to be
THE source FOR drugs like hashish and marijuana - inactive, on 07/08/2008, -0/+5"Vietnam has strict drug trafficking laws, including in some cases the death penalty"
... holy *****! - p47plane, on 07/07/2008, -3/+7that ***** is way too strong, you'll get stoned to death
- edebolt, on 07/08/2008, -0/+4The VN communist govt gives many finders fees and brownie points for turning people in... I live in Thailand and its a lot better and more free but in general you have to watch your ass in SEA
- wilhoitm, on 07/08/2008, -0/+3Weed grows best off of the dead, my roommate grew using a dead hamster! Talk about skunk week!
- SilverBack101, on 07/08/2008, -1/+4Damn you Towlie! Leave the dead alone!
- inactive, on 07/07/2008, -1/+4Must be stronger than any Holland weed.
- mach19, on 07/08/2008, -0/+3End this ***** war on drugs already! It is proven that marijuana is not as harmful, addictive, or murder-inducing as government propagandists have the world hypnotized into believing, and in fact is a natural healer that if fully legalized (medically and 'recreationally') has potential to be a wonder-drug. And, it's less dangerous and impairing than alcohol, and doesn't make its users belligerent and aggressive, as alcohol is widely known to do.
Ignore the patriotic sheep and Legalize Marijuana! - inactive, on 07/08/2008, -0/+3its sad that 2 guys growing weed even makes the news. legalize it!
- WarBiscuit, on 07/08/2008, -0/+3So *that's* where they come from!
I had no idea.
Thought it came from toads or something,
as they rubbed up against the leaves.
;) - FLarsen, on 07/08/2008, -0/+3It's really stupid how authorities say that they protect peoples lives when they arrest people growing marijuana.
What is really happening is that the lives of the people growing marijuana gets ***** up, where there with no law against it would be no lives destroyed.
Not to mention those using it for medical reasons. In effect, taking away someones cure/treatment/help is the same as giving them the decease/problem in the first place. - diddydustin, on 07/08/2008, -0/+3Is this how you get "the crypt"?
- TheMachine1, on 07/08/2008, -0/+2I feel bad if people were growing it for their on use and got busted. But if they planned on selling it the fact that its illegal creates that market price support. Pot grown commercially would likely be less than 20 cents a pound. Meaning getting busted sometimes is part of the business risk for artificial pricing the police create for you.
- thebassmaster, on 07/08/2008, -1/+3emBONGing might have been a better choice
- theviceroy, on 07/08/2008, -0/+2PS: Buried! (You!)
