Waiting for China to implode in 3...2...1... - Calypsoaf, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5Ni Hao!
- Kratisto, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17All a clever plan to even out average intelligence?
- sundancekid503, on 10/12/2007, -6/+8Tom-son is in your extended network
- Scyth3, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15This just in: "MySpace China Being Censored!"
- frprod, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Sorry..only slutty American girls put up slutty pics on myspace.
You won't see any of this on Myspace China:
http://celebritytrade.com/photo.aspx?cid=195&f=myspace7.jpg - clubedossete, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0What is agloco comunnity...
http://www.agloco.blog.br/ - drathosX3, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Are there going to be any MySpace Whores?
Hell, Yeah! - birch25, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4just what myspace needs...1 billion more potential users. signs of the end times, my friends ;)
- superal1394, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1Now begins the revolution. First, all of China's internet infrastructure will collapse as teenagers across China flock to Myspace with horribly designed pages that take up to a minute to render and download nearly 15 megabytes of data. Then, once it all comes back up, it shall become the center point for all the internets new virus's.
Maybe the American Audience will finally catch a break
btw, would a site like Digg be legal in China? - iamneuron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Actually, there are many sites like digg in China, and I often use some of them. These websites are not as good looking as digg (in my view), but they have the same functions. As I see, people in China enjoy more from the digg-like websites than American people do.
I am a Chinese.
- coolian, on 10/12/2007, -2/+31Haha...those idiots...little do they know of America's latest weapon...
- oddmanout, on 10/12/2007, -5/+4you can sign in with your myspace.com account.
I found it pretty interesting, it said this:
Our records detected that you have a MySpace.com account. MySpace.cn is operated by a Chinese business entity governed under the laws of the People鈥檚 Republic of China and not by the US entity operating MySpace.com. Accordingly MySpace.cn will be subject to the laws and regulations of the People鈥檚 Republic of China including any such laws and regulations requiring disclosure of your data.- Gir53457, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8Repeating what you say is annoying because repeating what you say annoys me.
- Makubex, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13Woohoo! This adds about two billion to the potential poon count!
- TiKoZ, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1Ahaaaa all this time they were building THE firewall for this... brilliant!
- kenvsryu, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15dibs on myspace.cn/lee
- crgnetworks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1to late QQ
- Scyth3, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2I hear myspace.cn/kim may be available... ;]
- luckywabbit, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6"I hear myspace.cn/kim may be available... ;]"
Wrong country Idiot.
- 28dayslater, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Myspace is now legal in China, but signing up and registering an account is punishable by death.
- bmwboy2844, on 10/12/2007, -0/+17Too bad it isn't that way in America...
- iamneuron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0here is the Myspace in China. The real problem for it is that it may not be popular enough to compete with local websites.
http://www.myspace.cn/
- graystar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5All the better to track you.
- dandyhighwayman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Poor, poor China.
- tvh2k, on 10/12/2007, -2/+19So now we can view nearly nude pictures of 13-year-old chinese girls....
...oh wait, they abort all their girls.
(Digg me down, but you know it's true) - xkidace, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1A new way for 11 year old Chinese girls to sexually exploit themselves, just like our American girls do it.
- frodsteamin2, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8"ching chang chong i cant understand what you're saying speak english.."- clayton bixby
- alpinweiss88, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2In communist China, shouldn't that be "wespace"?
- CgarHater, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10I think it should be 'ourspace'
- alpinweiss88, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2I dugg you up, that is better. :)
- Config, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Forget that. It should be "NotenoughSpace"
- whistlerpro, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Well this will make MySpace U.S. look like a utopia of liberalism...
- Mikejoneswho5, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6PSH! You guys are finding out about this now? I bought a boot leg myspace last week!
- DeskFlyer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2Yay, a billion more creepy old guys stalking 14-year-old girls around the world.
- Scheissen, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5That's how china already is.
- holyskeleton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4the title translated is "friend you friend me".
- chuanrys, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1And it's also a pun. "Friend" in Chinese is pronounced the same as "there is"
- firedrillduckie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It could be more or less tranlsated to "Friend, you have me"
The character for "Friend," as chuanrys said, has the same sound as "have," or "there is."
- dasunst3r, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3In Communist China, MySpace adds you!
- vonskippy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Proving that China isn't all that smart after all.
So so very sad. Now 1.3 billion people can have garishly ugly web pages and act like 12 year olds. - xmuzik, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2myspace sucks
- jeffsback2223, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Could be a trap set by China for political bloggers...
- notoneofus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0So what? Tencent's QQ network is bigger than MySpace and it's just in China. MySpace is having a hard enough time in Japan against Mixi, so what makes Murdock think he'll make a dent in the Chinese market?
- Smeed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Asian tom?
- LethalAmbition, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Tom will now have even more friends if only half of the population of China signs up!
- crashflow, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Somewhere in China:
/translated
"Look, I just signed up and this creepy white guy wants to be my friend already.... Bah, Americans are such perverts..."
- Forever-Zero, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I am glad knowing that if my country ever goes to war with China, Chinese soldiers will be to busy checking their Myspace pages for the "OMG SO CUUUUTE! :D :D :D LIKE LUV U" comment that some 13 year old left about their dog to fight us.
- Ndric, on 10/12/2007, -2/+3It's so unfortunate to live in China.
- DeathfireD, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1anyone know how to install the Chinese, Japanese, Korean characters for firefox? I cant seem to find a download anywhere for the language packs.
PS. don't tell me to use firefox's encoding, it does not work since I don't have the characters. - infra172, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1They should call it OurSpace and, if anybody but a government official attempts to post something there, a soldier comes to their door and shoots them in the face.
- chuanrys, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Dream on.... Like you've been there.
at any rate, it could be better than VTech
- chuanrys, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Dream on.... Like you've been there.
- donkeybat64, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1god damn what is all the hate, i see at least half the message dissing china, cant we just all get along??
- Ashex, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Anyone figure out how to register on there? I tried and kept getting an error message (which i can't decipher).
Only reason I'm doing it is to steal a sweet link, like myspace.cn/first or something - Zique, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1There's loads of sites like MySpace in China, I think they'll just grab a couple of percent of the market until they'll bury the whole thing in silence.
- iamneuron, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0In fact sites like digg are very popular in China.
- chuanrys, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0It probably wont' be very successful. China already has so many social networking products on the market that are better than MySpace. Look how much Google has tried - and even they are not winning.
- kevincross, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1did anyone else see the disclosure you get when you login to myspace.cn?
- shaitanx, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1In Soviet China, MySpace kills you!
- nemobushido, on 10/12/2007, -2/+0They should call it OurSpace.
- Verdanic, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I think they need to realize that they failed on multiple levels ages ago when they decided to implement one crappy layout and leave it as such for the duration of the site's existance, one crappy backend offering virtually no proper security without any actual improvement over time, and allowing users far too much control over their pages.
Facebook wins. Throw in the ***** towel, MySpace. - sfacets, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1way to make a terrible website worse.
- marktbrasil, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0hi..
- supotkin, on 02/05/2008, -0/+0http://3q4td.blogspot.com/2008/02/wwwmyspacesuperb ...

- godplaysdnd, on 04/16/2008, -0/+0Oh god. Now Chinese kids can be emo too.
