More Germans Oppose Mosques In Germany

spiegel.de — The planned construction of over 180 mosques in Germany is mobilizing right-wing xenophobes but also an increasing number of leftist critics. They fear the Muslim places of worship will facilitate the establishment of a completely parallel society.

  • jonolan, on 07/19/2008, -0/+4And they are all right to complain. This is an attempt by the Muslim immigrant population to setup their own nation within the borders of Germany. There's no other reason for such behavior since there aren't - currently - enough Muslims in Germany to warrant the construction of that many new masjid of that size.
