- theaceoffire, on 04/23/2008, -3/+32Dude, I can totally see it...
Righteous. - swiftekho, on 04/23/2008, -5/+9Yeah I can see it. But I guess I better stop carrying around large amounts of money and a cell phone.
What the hell? I carry 100+ dollars on me usually, just in case (haven't bothered to get a bank card) and a cell phone.- nuclearwasted, on 04/23/2008, -0/+1Only if you're also carrying drugs around. Otherwise, they got nuthin'
- PhilLesh69, on 04/23/2008, -1/+9Never carry more weed than you need for wherever you are going. If you're going to a friend's, bring along a gram or two, or whatever it will take to smoke your friends out. Always be sure you can tell the officer that what you are carrying is just for personal use.
NEVER carry your weed in more than one bag and never carry extra baggies along.
The money and cell phone shouldn't be an indicator of intent to distribute, but having more than one bag certainly can be.- bingobongony, on 04/23/2008, -14/+1NOW it is obvious why you are stupid in life. This clears up eveything.
Children...don't be like PhilLesh...don't do drugs. He is living proof that tey ***** up your life. - PhilLesh69, on 04/23/2008, -2/+8give it up loser bingobongony.
I don't smoke pot. and my life is not ***** up. Care to compare portfolios? Do you own your own $700,000 house, which is completely paid off? Do you make over $90,000 a year?
*****, you probably live in your parent's basement and drive an 82 datsun 210 pickup.- csw1342, on 04/23/2008, -0/+6Whats wrong with Datsuns?
- PhilLesh69, on 04/24/2008, -1/+2nothing, unless it's 26 years old and rusted out. ;)

- EwigRomanze, on 04/23/2008, -0/+3sound advice. You shouldn't carry around pipes either, only papers when you are away from the house.
- goldfishey, on 04/23/2008, -1/+11how did they manage to smell marijuana over the smell of the petrol? Im not saying they made that up so they could search him, because when you find a man pumping gas into an imaginary car its a fair guess to say drugs may be involved. But either that was some super stinky weed, or those cops have awesome scent perception powers!
- ZaZ2137, on 04/23/2008, -2/+2thats actually what i was wondering o.O
- PhilLesh69, on 04/23/2008, -1/+2I knew some fools that used to like to hotbox in their car.
Believe me, if you aren't smoking weed, you can smell it. If the person had hotboxed the weed, you can smell it on them from 10 feet away.- StormTroopr, on 04/23/2008, -0/+7Specially when the car he's hotboxing in is imaginary
- heypetray, on 04/23/2008, -1/+4Equally suspicious.
Buried the article for perpetuating the myth that marijuana has hallucinogenic effects.
Officers searched Moore and found "two large baggies" of marijuana and a large amount of Ecstasy.- precision256, on 04/23/2008, -0/+4Why are you being dugg down? You're so right I've never seen anyone near that high off weed all they do is fall asleep before they can do anything that stupid.
- revisedTORIN, on 04/23/2008, -2/+3***** man, totally true, they just ***** took him down cause he was wasting fuel, and marijuana cant make you see imaginary *****, total *****, possibly Ecstasy, I don't quite know what its like to trip on ecstacy
- IEatHamburgers, on 04/23/2008, -1/+5Are they sure it wasn't a real car with a James Bond-style cloaking device? Maybe he left the keys in the ignition by accident.

- jeff303, on 04/23/2008, -0/+5And another thing... how crazy do you have to be to pump gas into your invisible car at $4 a gallon? Please get this man some help.

Would you ever take that guy seriously ever again?
(HINT: You are than investment specialist in this analogy.)- PhilLesh69, on 04/23/2008, -0/+9Grow up idiot.
Stop trolling. You only look like a fool.- bingobongony, on 04/23/2008, -7/+1You didn't answer the question...WOULD you take that investmnt specialist seriously ever again?
If not, then why the ***** would you ever expect that ANYTHING yuou say regarding politics will ever be taken as anything but a huge joke ever again? - PhilLesh69, on 04/23/2008, -0/+6I can't believe you actually take yourself seriously. Do you really think that somebody saying "I think Obama is going to win by 15%, that's my guess" is anything like someone investing your money and losing it?
From all of your troll posts, the best I can figure out about you is that the only place anyone ever diggs up your comments is when you talk about video games. Apparently you are one of those overweight 33 year old pimple faced kids who are overly aggressive from playing too many violent games.
Or, you are just a lonely and angry person. I notice that in a lot of your attacks on people you ask them how many times they've considered killing themselves. Maybe you should not try to find commonality with the people you are attacking, and instead seek help immediately, before your next suicide attempt succeeds. Or has your mom locked up all the sharp objects and pharmaceuticals so you can't sneak up from the basement late at night to try to kill yourself again?
Either way, you have mental problems that you really should have addressed. Anyone who stalks someone for making a comment is only a few popped synapses away from shooting up a mall or a school.

- stronglikedan, on 04/23/2008, -10/+115RTFA...Ecstasy
- BrapAllgood, on 04/23/2008, -4/+12I am more curious about the third unnamed substance. I mean, if it was Xanax or something, this story takes on a wholly different angle.
- thelock65, on 04/23/2008, -3/+51x is not a hallucinogen either. his mind was in a totally different place. definitely trippin
- smotpoker, on 04/23/2008, -10/+4x usually isn't just pure MDMA. Usually it also contains other illicit substances (mescaline, LSD, heroin, 2-CI, etc). Depends on which type you get though...
Despite this, even pure MDMA can cause hallucinations in a large enough quantity or pre-existing mental conditions... usually this sort of hallucination requires schizophrenia or something in conjunction with a given drug - pooty2, on 04/23/2008, -0/+4http://www.erowid.org/chemicals/mdma/mdma_info11.s ...
- subterfuge, on 04/23/2008, -3/+6MDMA is indeed a hallucinogen. it says it on wikipedia. MDMA is a psychedelic, which is a category of hallucinogen
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mdma - marx2k, on 04/23/2008, -1/+10@smotpoker, "x" does not usually contain LSD, heroin or mescaline. Stop spreading *****. It wasn't even believable when I was 14
- smotpoker, on 04/23/2008, -10/+2@marx2k - Most of the "x" I ever bought or was offered were advertised as containing mescaline or LSD and provided a similar affect. Also, a friend who wrecked his car and died while ***** up was supposedly addicted to heroine which was rumored to have arisen from his ecstasy habit.
Most ecstasy I've encountered or that was praised supposedly contained mescaline or LSD. I cannot speak authoritatively as much of my understanding is from deduction or word-of-mouth but everyone considered the varieties with the most substances as the best ones and I assumed that the various combinations of substances accounted for much of the diversity in branding/affects.
It may be true that it doesn't [often] contain heroin but I stand by my assertion that it often has mescaline, LSD and other substances (depending on which type you get and who sells it to you) - sp3kter, on 04/23/2008, -2/+7http://www.ecstasydata.org/
if you find me one single lab result of the thousands listed there where mescaline or heroin was found in a pill...lemme know - smotpoker, on 04/23/2008, -7/+1@sp3ter - There are a fair amount of 'untested', 'none detected' and 'unknown' listings on there.
I could be mistaken though - I was never on that scene much and what I experienced could have been due to other factors (marketing, ***** was added after manufacture, faulty assumptions or misinformation from people I have discussed it with)
However even if I am mistaken on the details, my original point still stands: ecstasy does contain other substances than MDMA and it can cause hallucination - blackfox026, on 04/23/2008, -1/+5Smotpoker, how many of those pills did you take? You're spouting nonsense. Usually the pills will have something with an affect at least slightly similar to MDMA, such as amphetamines, caffeine, methamphetamines, etc. Mescaline's hard enough to find on its own, and I seriously doubt that most people who use ecstasy would want a powerful psychedelic mixed in.
- smotpoker, on 04/23/2008, -6/+1blackfox, I've taken 5-6 different types and 2 or 3 supposedly contained mescaline. My friends and I would ask for/about mescaline content regularly if it wasn't explicitly advertised and have dropped liquid with/on our ***** more than a few times.
I know not everyone likes to candyflip but many people do and the ecstasy we took that supposedly contained mescaline did a decent job of approximating the affect from what I could tell - mrstudly, on 04/23/2008, -2/+1There is a pill on that site with heroin in it, http://www.ecstasydata.org/results.php?A=SearchAll ...
- fluxion, on 04/23/2008, -0/+2sp3ter, there's at least 1 not on that site, Brown Mollies. They were popular in El Paso...mixed with mescaline...supposedly...most assuredly hallucinogenic
and mixes with heroine were popular, H-bombs.
- smotpoker, on 04/23/2008, -10/+4x usually isn't just pure MDMA. Usually it also contains other illicit substances (mescaline, LSD, heroin, 2-CI, etc). Depends on which type you get though...

I also loved: *Story continues below*
"Moore, 25, was charged with three counts of trafficking."
And that's it. Haha...
- smotpoker, on 04/23/2008, -19/+13Actually it is classified as a hallucinogen by many... just not a strong one
- l337fanboy, on 04/23/2008, -4/+7I've never hallucinated while stoned...

- subterfuge, on 04/23/2008, -10/+1sux 4 u
- smotpoker, on 04/23/2008, -2/+4I think the classification varies due to interpretations of the word "hallucinate"... I've seen slight trails and even colors change intensity from smoking strong weed when my tolerance was down.
Also, other factors like individual body chemistry and such have to be considered... Personally I've never had solid visuals from it but I don't reject the possibility that some people might have different experiences. Anyway, I wouldn't classify it as a hallucinogen if it were up to me, I was just pointing out that a few experts do because some people seem to hallucinate to some degree- smotpoker, on 04/23/2008, -2/+2a few experts and a lot of morons who believe them, that is
- marx2k, on 04/23/2008, -2/+1Me neither. And I've been.... STONED. I mean, I've never pumped gas into my iCar or boned an iGirlfriend, but still..
- l337fanboy, on 04/23/2008, -4/+7I've never hallucinated while stoned...
- haus34, on 04/23/2008, -13/+8marijuana is able to cause hallucinations, but it is very rare, and youd have to have very very potent weed
but it wouldnt be enough to make you think there was a car there, so the ecstasy prolly caused it- marx2k, on 04/23/2008, -5/+7Sorry but that's just not true. I've never hallucinated while high. No one I know has hallucinated while high. And we don't smoke schwag.
- m0rtified, on 04/23/2008, -2/+4it is a psychedelic
- Oea420, on 04/23/2008, -0/+2I've been smoking for three years straight.. only times i've hallucinated on pot was the first couple of times getting high, and they were pretty intense...
maybe parent is an amateur? - Providence, on 04/23/2008, -0/+2Never open-eyed hallucinated on pot before. Occassionally I'll get a lot of trails and floaters, but that's only when I'm really blazed. Full on "OH LOOK A CAR DUDE" hallucinations probably come from the E and the pot, and maybe something else he was on.
- haus34, on 04/23/2008, -1/+5your reasoning is idiotic at best...
just because it hasnt happened to you doesnt mean it doesnt happen.- marx2k, on 04/23/2008, -4/+1Me or over 100 people I've gotten high with over the years. I didn't say that I was only giving my experience. it's idiotic at best to think that I was only talking aout myself (especially since I said "No one I know")
- PhilLesh69, on 04/23/2008, -0/+2Have you ever had your sense of time distorted? Like, have you ever been walking down a long street at night and the end of the street just seems to never get any closer, and it seems like you've been walking for 20 minutes, but then you look at your watch and only 3 minutes have passed? That is an "Hallucination".
Have you ever listened to Led Zeppelin's "Whole lotta love"? With headphones? Or ever listened to a good guitar jam and closed your eyes?
- ANT1138, on 04/23/2008, -4/+4Once, after smoking a bowl, I thought i saw this guy turn into a Street Shark. LOL. I remember it vividly. But i'm pretty the weed was mixed with something else 'cause i've smoked the best of the best and that was the only time i tripped out like that.
- PhilLesh69, on 04/23/2008, -1/+2I doubt even ecstasy could do that.
He was probably smoking green. - bonedead, on 04/23/2008, -3/+2WRONG
Been to Amsterdam, smoked it all, no seeing *****.
However, on Ecstasy I have actually hallucinated (mixed with shrooms), so yeah.
- marx2k, on 04/23/2008, -5/+7Sorry but that's just not true. I've never hallucinated while high. No one I know has hallucinated while high. And we don't smoke schwag.
- ANT1138, on 04/23/2008, -1/+14Whatever it was, it must've been some good *****
- FishHammer, on 04/23/2008, -5/+7my mother saw notes dancing in the air when she smoked it. it IS possible to hallucinate but i'd imagine it's like 1-2% of people
- centerblack, on 04/23/2008, -4/+7Yea when it's laced with ***** opium.
- StickWST, on 04/23/2008, -3/+4High potency or low tolerance can get you high enough to have minor closed eye visuals and really ***** weird mind trick hallucinations in the dark. Scared the ***** out of me until I realized what was happening.
- centerblack, on 04/23/2008, -3/+21Why are people replying to this saying "you could maybe see maybe some minor minor hallucinations maybe. I know because my friends dogs boyfriends moms friends sister told me so".
You will not hallucinate up a car that doesn't exist, drive it to the gas station or try to fill it up after smoking pot.- nuclearwasted, on 04/23/2008, -2/+6Which brings us to the OP, who stated: "Marijuana is not a hallucinogen..." And it most certainly is.
- kh99, on 04/23/2008, -0/+8But he probably wasn't hallucinating - he probably just thought he was being really funny.
And BTW, it doesn't say he pumped gas all over the ground (which of course he wouldn't, if you know how a gas pump works), so it's not like he was about to blow up the place. - diablo75, on 04/23/2008, -0/+4Perhaps he had a heroic dose of shrooms?
- MrJagil, on 04/23/2008, -4/+2If you smoke enough, you can actually start to hallucinate.
- HaMMeReD, on 04/23/2008, -3/+2My bet is that he was mentally ill, and this is just blaming the pot.
If a retard gets high and does something retarded they all blame the pot, does everyone forget the guys a retard? - dstz, on 04/23/2008, -2/+4THC indeed IS a mild hallucinogen (won't make you outright hallucinate like a strong hallucinogen,) what are the 121 persons that digged you up on?
- fluxion, on 04/23/2008, -1/+1they must be trippin balls on marijuana, diggin him up on their imaginary laptops.
i mean c'mon man...you can nitpick all you want....but nobody on marijuana is gonna go around pumping gas into imaginary cars unless they're already crazy

- smotpoker, on 04/23/2008, -8/+3Yep, often ecstasy has mescaline, LSD, etc in it. Even without them MDMA can cause delusions if the person if they are already mentally unstable
- JordanTW90, on 04/23/2008, -2/+3Are you ***** kidding me? Who would put LSD in E? LSD adds no value to the enduser, why include it in the product? Its just more expense for you
- smotpoker, on 04/23/2008, -1/+2It added value where we came from. We would regularly drop liquid on/with it and actively picked whatever ecstasy has the most drugs in it which always had a higher price if we didn't know the seller (well)
I don't know what the illicit drug market is like where you are from but at the coastal beach cities where I mostly partook, that's how it went. People would have a variety, we'd ask the difference and be told "these have x, these have x + y with a little bit of z for a kick" etc
Maybe you just had less variety- stronglikedan, on 04/23/2008, -0/+1PCP + E FTW!

- knotty, on 04/23/2008, -1/+21) Ecstasy is often contaminated nowadays unfortunately, but rarely with LSD or mescaline. Usually MDMA, MDA, (meth)amphetamine, caffeine, ketamine, BZP etc. See ecstasydata.org for more information.
2) THC is probably far worse than MDMA for causing delusions if the person is already mentally unstable.

3) ***** off- smotpoker, on 04/23/2008, -1/+2Was that directed at me? The ***** we sought was contaminated with LSD or mescaline (supposedly). Whether it was actually contained may be another matter but it's what we looked for, was often advertised and sometimes paid extra for

/sarcasm - PhilLesh69, on 04/23/2008, -1/+1I still don't believe that having cash can be an indicator of intent to distribute. The cops might claim that, but I'm sure a good lawyer can get any charge like, say "a large amount of cash and an eighth" thrown out before it even gets before a judge.
However, the article says that he had two bags of weed. Once you have more than you can claim to be "for personal use" or it is split into more than one package, then they can claim intenet to distribute. If you had a pound in one bag, or two eighths or anything like that, you're getting ITD.- TonyLocNE, on 04/23/2008, -0/+1not necessarily, I've had a friend get busted with a half pound in one bag and only got possession. What his lawyer told the judge was that he was making his annual trip to purchase his personal stash for the year. Here in Nebraska you can have up to 1 lb. and its still considered a misdemeanor with 7 days jail and only a $500 fine. It varies between states.
- PhilLesh69, on 04/24/2008, -0/+1Sure, you need to know the laws in your area. Some states you can have up to a quarter ounce, some places just a gram.
But the general rule is to be sure to have only one bag. Once you have more than one bag, it is hard to argue that it's your personal stash (even though they could be two entirely different strains that you don't want to mix together, but a judge doesn't understand that concept, to him it's all just "drugs")

- PhilLesh69, on 04/23/2008, -0/+3what do they mean MORE narcotics? Shouldn't that be "they also found narcotics" ???
Weed is not a narcotic. Neither is ecstasy.
Narcotic: Any of a group of highly addictive analgesic drugs derived from opium or opiumlike compounds. Narcotics can cause drowsiness and significant alterations of mood and behavior.- Magwich, on 04/23/2008, -0/+1Well, it depends on whose definition of Narcotic. Your definition is definitely correct, but over the years the DEA and other law enforcement agencys have used the word to basically mean illicit or the highest controlled levels of prescription and non prescription drugs CIs & CIIs. But that is way the article states MORE narcotics. I am not defending the practice of screwing up the definition or anything. This is just where we are today on it.
- PhilLesh69, on 04/24/2008, -0/+1Yeah, and law enforcement and the media have also stretched the definition of pedophile to the point where a 17 year old getting a blow job from a 15 year old now becomes a pedophile.
Just because they keep doing it over and over again doesn't make it right.
