ctv.ca — Woman has man's baby, does not tell man. Gives baby up for "unofficial adoption". Man finds out about baby and goes to court to gain custody. Court says "No", bans man from visitation for a year, and makes a publication ban to not affect the life of the baby. Do biological parents have rights anymore?

How can you allow an adoption while a possible parent is looking to take care of the child? The kid was only days old at the time. Maybe there is more to this story we don't know about? I'd like to know
