- allowners, on 03/17/2008, -2/+11We are forever divided by ideology and religion. It is spring now, after a long winter, where I live. I feel a strong ideological and spiritual connection to the earth. I want to nurture the plants and feel the soil between my fingers and beneath my feet. The battle for who's religion and who's fundamentalist ideas shall reign supreme gets tiresome, yet I know there is no place and nobody safe from extremism of whatever variety. I'll be in my garden.

Beautiful post allowners! - digindrivefast, on 03/18/2008, -1/+2So then, I'll meet you in your garden. The stones that divide your place of dwelling from my own and I would sit with you and you with me and smell the New Earth and sit some more. Quiet. New.
My heart aches.
and it is supposed to rejoice but it is wounded, and deeply grieved for those that believed...
I'll sit awhile with you, within the gate of your garden, within the gate of me and smell the earth fresh and real, new
blood hatred and they call it something...

- Inthenameofmine, on 03/17/2008, -1/+10See also the BalkanInsight article: http://balkaninsight.com/en/main/news/8641/ "The demonstrators were using children to throw pyres and grenades at police," another eyewitness told Balkan Insight. It's getting ***** scary here in Prishtina. First the huge explosion in Tirana with its shock wave which could be felt in Prishtina, hundreds of kilometers away, and now this! The Serbian government is destabilizing the whole region by taking its puppet parties out of the different governments like Bosnia, Croatia, Kosova, Macedonia is already extremely fragile and almost not able to exist on its own and Serbia it self is according to internal sources at the brink of a civil war (I'm not joking!)! There is total anarchy in the North and it is Serbia's, the Eu's and Russia's fault. there is no more law in the North, you could essentials do anything and nobody would do ***** against it! And I don't want to start about the non existing Kosova government, or shall I call it undemocratic, unelected, selfish, mafia like structured U.N. puppet.
- digindrivefast, on 03/18/2008, -0/+1Much will have come and gone in ten days time, dear kind person! Much more will happen as the seconds, and slow death minutes tick by...
What is a reasonable solution? I saw the Detonation, on line about 14 hours prior to your shout to me. There is a human element in everything!
I have felt, first hand, the shock waves of massive military detonation, in "peace time" and all that I know of those around me, they are not prepared and I'm not convinced that many understand what it must be like to wake up and find "America" looking like Kosovo/Serbia... Hell! Forget about Darfur! as far as they know we have to kill a bunch of "rag heads" in Iraq! and make it home to watch American Idol etc....

- americangoy, on 03/17/2008, -4/+7No.Inthenameofmine. WRONG (sorry).
This whole situation is because the USA wanted a military base in Europe, because the US knows that they might be thrown out from its German/Italian etc bases.
If you google it, you will find that the US base in Kosovo is one of the biggest in the world right now.
http://www.globalsecurity.org/military/facility/ca ...
"Camp Bondsteel [CBS] is quite large: 955 acres or 360,000 square meters. If you were to run the outer perimeter, it is about 7 miles. Bondsteel is located on rolling hills and farmland near the city of Ferizaj/Urosevac."
This is our backup, "emergency base" if you will if and when the Europeans get sick of us. Kosovo is our backup for our troops in Europe, just like Iraq is after Saudi Arabia kicked us out.- Inthenameofmine, on 03/17/2008, -2/+5So you're actually saying that all of this wouldn't have happened if the U.S. wouldn't have interfered into tho massacres the Serbians started long before there ever was an American military base in the Balkans?
I'm not saying America isn't gaming the Serbians, they DO! But not in the way you think, the pro EU party and all of its followers are pretty much controlled or brainwashed by America and The EU. While the pro Russian party is basically controlled by Russia, just the same way as the other party is controlled by America. Now, things like this happen all around the World but they normally don't lead to such events, mostly because there is an additional political dimension now in Serbia. Serbia's army and their police don't serve anymore primarily their country, their also divided between those two parties. The army by the Americans while the police is controlled by the Russians. Today this doesn't matter, but in case of angry mobs taking over the streets of Belgrad and all around Serbia after the next forced elections in May, you're probably going to see police officers fighting soldiers. There is a political and social vacuum in Serbia right now and it needs to be filled with SOMETHING and both parties are going to take the chance to do this.- allowners, on 03/17/2008, -0/+3Seriously, why can't we fill these "vacuums" with sanity?
- Inthenameofmine, on 03/17/2008, -2/+5So you're actually saying that all of this wouldn't have happened if the U.S. wouldn't have interfered into tho massacres the Serbians started long before there ever was an American military base in the Balkans?
- ladybroadoak, on 03/17/2008, -0/+3I have a picture of the camp on my blog - it gets hit CONTINUOUSLY.
That place is just a den of inequity and when something happens in Europe that reeks of commotion, disturbance, corruption, I just think .. "Oh, they are at it again."
Dick Cheny is behind the insane statements coming from NATO commanders saying that they should have first strike rights!! WAR IS PEACE, they say. (yeah, right)
Dickie is now in Iraq as his oil empire is not going as he planned. The Kurds aren't playing by his rules - so he has left NATO to sort out the mess he made of it ALL.
But the neocons should be put up on war crimes trials - as well as the Clintons who did much to provoke this whole sorry mess. Believe me, her ambition knows no bounds and the number of dead who will be left in the ME and central asia is going to make those deaths in Iraq pale in comparision.
everyone on here who cares should get the globalresearch.ca newsletters and follow their website, where you will get the most news of anywhere in North America, otherwise it is a cold, hard slog figuring it all out.
I try to tay on top of it all on my blog, but that's a 24/7 job cuz it's all accelerating very rapidly - all the fall out of the mindless destruction that has been going on for a very long time.
Also, give OPERATION GIDEO a google which will show you all a lot of information. - Member148, on 03/17/2008, -0/+4The UN is a bureaucratic joke. They can't even solve their own internal corruption and power struggles, yet they go into a region of another country, in an air of superiority and arrogance, to supposedly bring peace and stability to that region. Well just look a the bullies run at the first sign of fighting back.
- DarkBrother, on 03/17/2008, -9/+2Buried cause u are lier.
- allowners, on 03/17/2008, -1/+5DarkBrother makes a brilliant self-descriptive comment.
- JackStowe, on 03/18/2008, -1/+2He seem to know everything about what is happening in Kosovo.
- VeryBoredNow, on 03/18/2008, -1/+4I am sick of Serbia and their Crocodile Tears. They want the world to feel like they are the victims. Lets not forget that Serbia is a government that is harboring War Criminals, which they see as heros. These people take pride in harboring guys who orchastrated mass murder of defensless civilians. Nazi style. Once again, taking pride in it. Their favorite defence is "we were victims, too!" Well, go on and do a little research with the help of google and Wiki and look at the number of Serb war criminals compared to the number of Bosnian, Croatian and Kosovo Albanian war criminals. It's roughly 90% Serbs. Plus they act like Kosovo has been theirs since the Kosovo battle during the Ottoman rule, Kosovo, like the whole area has changed so many times since WWI it's not even funny, but all of a sudden they are making a huge deal about it, turning it into a struggle, killing their chances of joining the EU, blaming the US of course (even though 25 other major nations agree), driving their country towards further isolation. I say, Serbia needs to prove that they are a civilized country, because since 1989 they have proven time and time again that they NEED to be isolated from the world and then they can expect the world to listen to their complaints. Bitching about intl. laws being broken, when they can't even uphold them.
