- alapoet, on 11/02/2008, -6/+94Bush, Cheney, Rice and Rove will all eventually be in federal prison for their crimes. Mark my words.
- inactive, on 11/02/2008, -5/+62Holy Schmoley - when are we going to see these guys in JAIL? President Bush should have been IMPEACHED.
- e61iuser, on 11/02/2008, -3/+43Good luck with that.
At least a tiny country like the Philippines has the balls to take down not one but TWO of their presidents and force the first one to leave the country and the second one into house arrest.
All americans do is take it up the ass. - amoirae, on 11/02/2008, -4/+42They'll ignore this like every other demand and laugh when they see the public outrage,
- Franswahili, on 11/02/2008, -0/+36With all due respect, the USA is operating on a much higher level of elite corruption. We have the best of the best working here when it comes to surpressing progressive public thought and making a dictatorship look like a two-party Democratic system.
- cg4et, on 11/02/2008, -1/+36Unless Bush issues a blanket pardon on his way out the door. Watch for something to happen on this front, probably on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day.
- Starlach, on 11/02/2008, -0/+34You can't pardon War Crimes.
Don't give up hope, keep fighting and we will find justice. - Klak, on 11/02/2008, -0/+22oh boy another subpenia for them to ignore
- inactive, on 11/02/2008, -2/+22I hope they all get anally raped in prison.
- twiztidsinz, on 11/02/2008, -0/+19Worst. Christmas present. EVER.
- freefallgrue, on 11/02/2008, -1/+20I'd love to see something come of this, but we all know nothing will.
- IgorUnchained, on 11/02/2008, -5/+24Yeah...good idea!
I guess it hasnt already been proven that these people spied on American Citizens without warrants....right?
I guess that THIS TIME, they will show up for their court hearings....right?
Im sure that they will be punished for these crimes and wont be let off (or pardoned by Obama).....right?
For Sale: One Bridge - msflower97, on 11/02/2008, -1/+20Hey, if you haven't done anything wrong you don't have anything to worry about...right, Mr. President?
- jeffsback2223, on 11/02/2008, -0/+18Didn't bush already get something passed, Immunizing him and his administration from war crimes prosecution?
- inactive, on 11/02/2008, -2/+18I think he already pardoned himself for war crimes, like a long time ago, but if powerful people were gonna get em for warcrimes i doubt the court would be like "no, sorry he already pardoned himself for that" his self pardoning would be ignored or used as evidence against him that he knew he was commiting war crimes or something
- Franswahili, on 11/02/2008, -2/+15LOL! As if this even matters, they exist above the law.
- inactive, on 11/02/2008, -3/+15But they won't because they're lawless criminals.
- chaos7, on 11/02/2008, -1/+13won't be happening
- unclecaveman, on 11/02/2008, -2/+12Who would be surprised if this judge dies of a heart attack within the next few weeks or gets shot in a failed robbery?
- jessehadden, on 11/02/2008, -0/+9That would require there to be an opposition party. There isn't.
- andrewlotta, on 11/02/2008, -2/+11I dislike Bush very much and support Obama, but that will never happen - mark my words.
- WriterinSac, on 11/02/2008, -1/+10I think judges are finally getting a backbone, knowing the tide is turning against the Bush regime. If only Pelosi had had the guts to impeach this criminal. While she said impeachment was "off the table," many thousands died across the world because of him. Think about that, Nancy.
- inactive, on 11/02/2008, -1/+9Funny that probably 90% of you outraged diggers are voting for Obama.
http://blog.washingtonpost.com/the-trail/2008/06/2 ... - BlacklabelSAR, on 11/02/2008, -0/+7So where is the Rule of Law?
- JoeMondo, on 11/02/2008, -2/+9That's one of the things I don't like about Obama.
But for every one thing I don't like about Obama, there are a hundred things worse about McCain. - com2, on 11/02/2008, -0/+7Wiretapping is not wrong is it' done LEGALLY!
But Bush changed the law illegally to make it legal. - Spuy767, on 11/02/2008, -0/+7What the ***** is a subpenia? Did you perchance mean subpoena?
- thereisnostate, on 11/02/2008, -3/+10Yes, but the millions of Americans who voted for Bush twice will still remain.
- JackSchittt, on 11/02/2008, -0/+7Haven't we heard this about half a dozen times before?
What makes this judge suddenly think Bush is going to hand anything over?
The bad thing is that Bush is going to walk away from all of this unscathed.
The good thing is that he's finally going to walk away. - langdonalger, on 11/02/2008, -1/+8just what i was gonna say. they won't even show up in court when ordered to, people think they'll actually listen to a judge's decision? bush will have him kicked off the bench first. (or chair. do judges sit in chairs or benches?)
- Ne007, on 11/02/2008, -4/+11Vote for Sheehan. Pelosi failed the American people and is a criminal for not performing her constitutional duty. It's illegal to take impeachment "off the table", because that means that you are taking a blind eye to crimes committed by the President.
- rhythm7a, on 11/02/2008, -0/+6Emails were "lost" and the shredders have been working overtime, even before the end of his first term. Cheney and Rumsfeld learned plenty from Nixon's bungling.
- obliviousfool, on 11/02/2008, -0/+6Yeah, like this will be the one time he complies with a legal order.
- Ne007, on 11/02/2008, -4/+10When you are puppets for the U.S. military-industrial complex you can do anything without consequence.
- shug7272, on 11/02/2008, -1/+7It always cracks me up that people think incriminating evidence will be handed over. Has anything incriminating been handed over in the past 8 years? Heck, Rove ignored his call to testify and not a dang thing happened.
The only way anybody of any real importance from The Bush Admin will get prosecuted is if it is in a world court. Wont happen here. :( - AnimeCwboy, on 11/02/2008, -0/+6just another opportunity for them to give the courts the finger sadly.
- LeepII, on 11/02/2008, -1/+7Until Americans get off the internet and into the streets there will be no justice.
- com2, on 11/02/2008, -0/+6It lost the race to the Rule of Gold.
- CalmLlama, on 11/02/2008, -2/+7Obama voted against impeaching Bush, i doubt the Obama administration would take him to court
- inactive, on 11/02/2008, -2/+7akchrs, You are a tireless spammer for Republican party. You leave stupid comments on every political story. How much do they pay you? Needless to say I don't even read your comments. In that sense burying is automatic.
- BlacklabelSAR, on 11/02/2008, -1/+6Classic Nazi Fascism.
- Clp727, on 11/02/2008, -0/+4It's all for show. Nothing will come of it.
- Ne007, on 11/02/2008, -1/+5We need people like her in there to be sure they aren't insiders like Pelosi who say one thing and then get in there and do another.
- com2, on 11/02/2008, -0/+4Agreed, the only way the courts would get anything incriminating is if they busted down the door and found it themselves, but that would never happen, someone would tip them off before the ink was dry on the warrant.
- kirualeorio, on 11/02/2008, -0/+4A United States federal judge is a judge appointed by the President of the United States and confirmed by the United States Senate in accordance with Article III of the United States Constitution.
In other words, the judge and the president basically know each other pretty well. - gimpbully, on 11/02/2008, -0/+4if Ford pardoned Nixon, what makes you think Cheney et al won't be pardoned?
- rbk303, on 11/03/2008, -0/+4Haha. Bush actually complying with a court order? Too funny.
- InfeImmo, on 11/02/2008, -1/+5@RonPaulTOLDu
If you assume that charges against Bush would escalate to the Supreme Court, eventually, the problem is he just so happens to have appointed the Chief Justice plus Alito. How that may play out obviously remains to be seen, but with the pardons while he was in office combined with this, it at least appears they knew how to cover their asses. - JoeMondo, on 11/02/2008, -2/+5Sorry, but there are numerous ways in which Sheehan has categorized herself with a lot of nutjobs.
It's sad but true. - WalterSobchak88, on 11/02/2008, -1/+4out of all the things he has already gotten away with..... i doubt anything happens
