Is This The Future Of Search?

- Gavin, on 07/17/2008, -1/+4I have not gotten to test the new Google Search feature but from what I have seen it looks pretty nice.
- jaypooner, on 07/17/2008, -0/+4everything's becoming digg-like these days
- Narrwald, on 07/17/2008, -1/+4I don't know if I like that future. I like Google the way it is now.
- bstory, on 07/17/2008, -0/+3I can't see this working for anything other than personalized search. If the voting will affect organic listings then I see a lot of problems on the horizon - competitors hiring hosts of outsourced companies to vote down their rivals and vote up their clients. If this is the future of search then search is truly dead as it will have to be renamed to something akin to popularity contests.
