Girl in Fatal Wreck Sent Text Message Moments Before Crash
foxnews.com — Authorities say a 16-year-old girl who died after losing control of her car had been texting on her cell phone moments before the accident. Here we go again one dumb ass = over bearing new regulations for everyone else. This child is dead because the parent's are idiots! and the kid followed right behind them!

- ReverendJon, on 08/18/2008, -0/+2It seems that there's a need to place blame on something other then bad parenting, then if by chance this is a renegade child and the parent did everything they could like take away the car, confine the kid to the house take away the phone, then you must blame the phone.
Parent's must be parent first friend second or rape ,murder, dui's, anything can happen and will! Lesson that should've been learned here is teach your children well!

Funny how she jumped right over the dangers of:
- a reckless 16 year old
- allowed out of the house at 2:30 am
- drinking herself stupid
- and speeding (her own car?)
- on California freeways
- while sending text messages
- with the apparent blessings of a parent who refuses to do her job.
