Scott Ritter is a true patriot. I wish there were more with balls like him to speak the truth. - ileen4justice, on 06/18/2008, -1/+13Remember him? He was the one who was on the freakin ground in Iraq saying they are no WMDs here at the same time the fascist media whores and the evil empire were crying about WMDs!! Scott Ritter is a true patriot!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
- SaraLiberty, on 08/16/2008, -1/+11Good one...Scott speaks the truth.
- inactive, on 06/19/2008, -0/+8We need to stop Bush and Cheney before they can get us wrapped up in Iran. Impeach them now!
- SheKnowsLLC, on 06/18/2008, -1/+9WoW........
- lazerus9, on 06/18/2008, -1/+9They really went after Scott to try and destroy his credibility, but he has always called it as he saw it! I think we all know who the real enemy is and it is not the Iranians!
http://www.antiwar.com/justin/j012203.html - inactive, on 06/18/2008, -1/+7He also thoroughly debunked Colin Powell's speech to UN point for point. Nobody in the MSM carried it though. They just passed on innuendo that he was in the pay of Saddam Hussein which he clearly wasn't.
- Erich100, on 06/19/2008, -1/+7No matter how hard they try, they can't destroy Scott Ritters credibility. He speaks the truth.
- RPliberty, on 06/19/2008, -0/+6That guy should run as a Ron Paul Republican !
- inactive, on 06/19/2008, -1/+4The most informative single source of fact I have found on the subject.
In addition, I would offer that what occurs anywhere in the Middle East is of no concern to us. We are not the world's dictator. Unless there is a real attack from another nation (which there is no evidence to support with the possible exception of Israeli involvement in attempted "terrorist attacks" and successful ones such as 9/11), or irrefutable evidence of impending attack from another nation we have no excuse or right to interfere in the affairs of other nations at all. Is there really anyone gullible enough to believe that Iran has the long range missile capability of hitting the United States even if they had nuclear warheads at this very moment? - Ljay90, on 06/19/2008, -0/+2HEY! Powell's speech was 100% true!
...back in the 80s when he gave it the first time... - ileen4justice, on 06/19/2008, -0/+2And that Colin Powell speech with the pretty pictures was supposed to convince the security council to approve the invasion -- they knew that the security council would not approve it even though this was a condition to invade Iraq -- but hey, crime, shmime....
- Pssdoff, on 06/19/2008, -0/+2But if the Iranians didn't have the ability to put their sophisticated nuclear weapons in long range ICBMs, why would the US need to build a $100+ billion dollar missile defense shield in Europe? Clearly the Iranians have more military might than the Soviets ever did, plus I heard they hate our freedoms.
- ileen4justice, on 06/19/2008, -1/+1Just one question: how came we can have nuclear reactors (McBush said yesterday he wants 45 new ones) and possess nuclear weapons (along with Israel) but if Iran even looks like they are enriching uranium we have to bomb the hell out of them --- including of course mostly innocent people, women and children. How arrogant!!!
- inactive, on 06/19/2008, -4/+1So the only thing stopping Iran from getting working enrichment centrifuges (leading to a nuclear weapon) is the lack of ball bearings? Doesn't sound like an insurmountable barrier to me. Duh. This guy has to make his speech marketable, and that is what he is doing.
