- kingofinternet, on 06/21/2009, -2/+53maybe it's inappropriate, but is anyone else surprised at how ridiculously good looking a lot of these protesters are?
for example picture 19: it's javier bardem and angelina jolie. - ianhiggs, on 06/21/2009, -1/+22Yes, I have noticed this as well. I feel bad about it, but I never realized how attractive Iranian women were until these protests erupted =P
- xonkonog, on 06/22/2009, -0/+21Ive been noticing this as well, Iranian women are pretty darn good looking.
- Betrayal, on 06/21/2009, -1/+17Brave & Beautiful
- kingofinternet, on 06/22/2009, -0/+16As a man you can't turn it off can you, even if it might become another Tienanmen Square. Ah well. I hope those hot, brave, political chicks put an end to that corrupt regime.
And let's not forget the dudes, some of them aren't too shabby either (no *****). - inactive, on 06/21/2009, -0/+14It's not really inappropriate. As Westerners we don't have a lot of exposure to Iran and its people, I've seen more about the country than I have in my entire life since this started. And yes, I did notice that they do seem to be some good looking people. I don't know why anyone would be offended at that, it's just an observation.
- Betrayal, on 06/22/2009, -0/+10No thanks.
- Civilizations of the universe. - Betrayal, on 06/22/2009, -1/+11And brave.
Unlike our bitchy girlfriends over here. - gargantuan, on 06/21/2009, -1/+10Im glad it was you that said it and not me. And for all those people who are about to get offended... so what. Be offended, it wont kill you.
- gordigor, on 06/22/2009, -0/+7Iranian afro. That was something I wasn't expecting.
- jordanlgta, on 06/22/2009, -0/+7I want a poster-sized version of the second photo.
- NightC, on 06/22/2009, -0/+7GL Iran I hope they overthrow the repressive government.
- inactive, on 06/22/2009, -0/+7Iranians look like pretty normal people to me.

- zemkacz, on 06/22/2009, -0/+5The best way to show your support is to upload copies of the videos to show you care, and in case other copies get taken down more will be uploaded soon.
Here is one I uploaded from liveleak.com as a example

Best source of information would be from this blog http://shooresh1917.blogspot.com/
Spread the word on what is going on, let it be known.
But I hope the USA does not get involved, best for us to stay out of this one. - inactive, on 06/22/2009, -0/+5As someone of Iranian heritage I have to say that at this particular moment in time I have a great deal of respect for the American president's decision to honour the Iranian people's right to self-determination. Although many Iranians do not like their present government they are extremely patriotic and if their country were attacked (politically or militarily) they would band together. As an example, when former president George W. Bush made his speech about the "axis of evil" some people got scared and voted for a man who promised to be anti-American and possibly protect them, Ahmadinejad. He succeeded president Mohammad Khatami, a reformist. I get sick to my stomach when I watch the news and listen to the political thinkers who declare they are behind the Iranian people, when maybe last month the same people were demonizing Iran as a whole. Whether they demonized Iran in the past or support the protesters now, it's puzzling and frustrating when their suggested "solution" remains the same, military action. The comments made by many open minded diggers has reversed some of my own prejudices.
- chrisdamitio, on 06/21/2009, -0/+4A really important post. Thanks for sharing this.Allah help Iranian protestors.
- anonydigg, on 06/22/2009, -0/+44/24: The green sign: "Mir Hussein Mousavi" (The reformer)
9/24: "You call us hooligans!?"
11/24: The sign in the back reads: "... we developed the rural areas..."
22/24: The little white sign: "Find us, the forgotten people."
24/24: "Lying forbidden!" - Recluse84, on 06/22/2009, -0/+4I know this is totally off the subject of this whole Iran thing, but Iran has some beautiful women.
- DevilInPgh, on 06/22/2009, -1/+5Jesus Tap-Dancing Christ, what do you want him to do, Bomb Bomb Bomb, Bomb Bomb Iran? Give me a f'n break!
- m0tbaillie, on 06/22/2009, -0/+4How is the US interfering with jack *****? Other than people staring at play-by-plays and Twitter and these pictorials of what's going on, the US hasn't really done anything but leave the country to its devices...
- inactive, on 06/22/2009, -0/+4Maybe that's why the photographer chose to take a pic of them...
- inactive, on 06/22/2009, -0/+3Seems like Venezuela's Chavez lowered the tone seeing his "brother" in such of a predicament.
- Nosyn, on 06/22/2009, -0/+3Glad I know how to read. The "TWO" is actually "V" for Victory....
- kingofinternet, on 06/22/2009, -0/+3I hear the moon landing ain't real neither!
And Bruce Lee ain't dead you know. They got him frozen in carbonite down under Chatsworth. - Gguillorn, on 06/22/2009, -0/+3I think I'm actually falling in love with her...
- inactive, on 06/22/2009, -0/+2Think and Think hahahahahahahahahahahahahahhaha you may want to REthink.
- blitzkriegpunk, on 06/22/2009, -2/+5Picture 19... setting penis to 'hit'.
- anonydigg, on 06/22/2009, -0/+3You just don't know history. The people of Iran started a revolution in 1979 to overthrow a brutal dictator. The leaders of the revolution rose to power with promises of freedom, equality and independence (which was a nice slogan, since the dictator had been installed by the CIA after Iran already had a secular democracy) . Then the regime imprisoned and killed thousands of people who had anything to say. Islam was supposed to take a back seat. The women thought that the government was joking when they made Islamic veils mandatory. My mother remembers this. The young were shocked when the government closed down all night clubs and bars. They certainly weren't joking.
30 year later, all the people who were born under this regime, are rebelling against it. They're not yet brave enough to ask for separation of mosque and state, since that would be immediate justification to kill them, but they are asking for freedom. They are asking for reform. The rest is just a matter of time.
Today, I was at a protest (outside Iran), where one woman dared to hold up an Allah sign. The protesters took it away, tore it to pieces and stepped on it. Then they told her that Allah is not our identity. That many of our countrymen had been killed in the name of Allah. They chanted "Down with the Islamic Republic" and secular signs could be seen everywhere. That was a proud moment for me.
I'm sure there are plenty of people who swallow the leaders' *****. But certainly not the masses who are on the streets today, and certainly not our university students who had been rebelling every chance they got.
I will admit that the large majority of Iranians identify themselves as Muslims. Irradiating a religion which has been dominant for centuries is not easy. But their version of Islam is not Saudi Arabia's version, and it's not the current regime's version. - sciencelovesyou, on 06/22/2009, -0/+2You should consider seeing a doctor about those misspellings.
- sigafoo, on 06/22/2009, -0/+2Actually I was reading another article about Iran in general. Apparently they have a lot of nose jobs, because they don't show off their bodies like american's do. So beauty relies predominately on the face. I'm not really sure what the actual number is or anything, but an interesting fact none the less... Though nothing to do with the article
- IowaWoman, on 06/21/2009, -7/+9The Persian people are very handsome indeed. I have always thought so. I am not surprised at all.
- sciencelovesyou, on 06/22/2009, -0/+2It's a wired world now, chummer.
- skanton, on 06/22/2009, -0/+2Can somebody tell me; what do the slogans in these pictures say??!
- anonydigg, on 06/22/2009, -0/+2eliminate*
- BohicaTwentyTwo, on 06/22/2009, -0/+2I've read some tweets and other posts from Iranian protesters saying that the most violent crackdowns are at the hands of Lebanese and Palesinians. So the mullahs have finally loosed their proxy armies on their own people.
- anonydigg, on 06/22/2009, -0/+2"Here is one I uploaded from liveleak.com as a example

- BohicaTwentyTwo, on 06/22/2009, -1/+3You think the Iranians are trim, you should see the North Koreans. Their "fat camps" just melt the pounds away.

- huntingbear, on 06/22/2009, -1/+2my god those Iranian girls are hot! also, it's a shame the politics of Iran right now. I think everyone saw this coming and we should be afraid.
