Despite Doubts, Alabama Man Faces Execution.

spiegel.de — Thomas Arthur has been on death row since 1982. His execution is set for July 31 -- although strong doubts remain about his guilt. The governor of Alabama is refusing to allow DNA tests that may prove his innocence. WTF is wrong with the American law system??!

  • ironeus, on 08/01/2008, -0/+1defending himself in his last trial back in '91 was at least one mistake made on his part. If there is new evidence, however, he should be granted an appeal despite the fact that it already went to the state Supreme Court.
