- Namakemono, on 10/10/2007, -2/+41You should've seen it AFTER the disaster.
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -15/+49Chernobyl = Silent Hill???
- Neiby, on 10/10/2007, -4/+35No. Chernobyl = S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
- Import98, on 10/10/2007, -3/+32Some nice pics. To me, the picture quality adds to the creepiness.
- shibbz, on 10/10/2007, -1/+30Very well done pictures. I personally found the doll and the gas mask ones to be the creepiest.

Really good info on it all and better pics. - Jugalator, on 10/10/2007, -1/+20To me, the photoshopping detract from the creepiness. Seriously leave them as they are, and if they still look bad, then they indeed are.
Case in point:

- FatherG, on 10/10/2007, -3/+15Better to be constantly reminded of the disaster rather than risk forgetting and repeating it.
- queraxus, on 10/10/2007, -3/+13You're not the brightest, are you AriaStar?
- Angostura, on 10/10/2007, -0/+10Well they were certainly very very heavily processed to make them appear atmospheric. Artificial grain anyone?
- AriaStar, on 10/10/2007, -1/+11A more unique souvenir than a key chain or something. To be able to literally touch part of the country of the soil's origin.
- holysocks, on 10/10/2007, -0/+9just play S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
- adz999, on 10/10/2007, -1/+9I don't know whats funnier your comment or heliox stupidity!
- inactive, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Kudos for AriaStar for keeping her cool while you guys bash her. I would have just told you guys to ***** right off.
- AriaStar, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7I didn't realize how close his hometown was to Chernobyl before looking it up today. I'm not as familiar with Ukrainian geography as with US geography. I presumed any number of things could have contaminated the soil. If in the US we have soil contaminated by pesticides and whatnot, I'm pretty sure the same is possible there.
- crapmatic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+7Hmm... needs randomly interspersed pictures of mysterious Ukrainian girl on motorcycle.
- antique, on 10/10/2007, -5/+12reminds me more of Half Life 2
- AphyX, on 10/10/2007, -2/+9It's scary how similar some of those pictures are to some of the places in S.T.A.L.K.E.R, The designers really did do a good job of capturing the atmosphere and feel of it. I guess its time for me to replay it.
- suxmonkey, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6From the same site, these are cool pix of abandonments too: http://www.englishrussia.com/?p=276
- WallnutBoy, on 10/10/2007, -0/+6Fail.
- Daniel001, on 10/10/2007, -3/+8Unfortunately a lot of that stuff its just put there by the photographer, or at least moved, for added creepiness.
- gllopc, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5The goggles... they do nothing!
- Looc, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5Silent Hill is about a coal mine fire, that was also real
- hairyblue, on 10/10/2007, -0/+5if youve played the game S.T.A.L.K.E.R then it feels really weird seeing the real places. they captured it so well
- Narwaffle, on 10/10/2007, -1/+6http://duggmirror.com/world_news/Creepy_Photos_from_Chernobyl_Pics/

- facelogic, on 10/10/2007, -0/+3It's really amazing, seeing these pics, how good of a job the dev team did in virtually recreating the Chernobyl environment.
