- sarge96, on 02/08/2008, -3/+119Awesome. NPR is one of the best news groups out there. They also played a clip from the Cruise video... creepy. What that ex-scientologist said really made me feel like we're doing something important here. I'm glad to help Anonymous.
- inactive, on 02/08/2008, -2/+85I love it when radio stations have audio.
Makes it a lot easier to listen to. - staxofmax, on 02/08/2008, -3/+50They completely missed the part about the exploding vans. Other than that it was fairly accurate.
- browwiw, on 02/08/2008, -2/+47Support public radio!
- morningmatters, on 02/08/2008, -2/+47I was listening to this on NPR on my way to work. Some Vice President of Scientology compared anonymous to the KKK. LOL.

Until then, DO NOT try to learn more about the crimes of Scientology!

- codo678, on 02/08/2008, -1/+20***** Scientology!
The raid in London is coming up! - zplot, on 02/08/2008, -1/+19Good that their getting more attention from the press. Also that Anonymous wasn't just reported as a "group of hackers," and finally given a bit of time to show their side of the story.
- unusualbob, on 02/08/2008, -2/+19look up the bbc report on scientology or just look for vids on youtube, there are a plenty. Anyone who has left the church is immediately attacked and any secrets they have are exposed in an attempt to discredit them. They post fliers on stores about them, harass them at work (some report being fired due to false complaints by scifags).
Basically any group that does this to its members is definitely not good. - VinceNoir, on 02/08/2008, -0/+13Hey Einstein... REAL news IS dull. If there is a news program you find exciting, then you're not watching real news.
- nonsequitor, on 02/08/2008, -2/+14Yes, by posting on Digg. Every person Digg educates about Scientology is one less person who might fall victim to Scientology.
The one thing that these organizations cannot survive is public scrutiny. - warpdesign, on 02/08/2008, -1/+13Go anonymous go!
- diggitny, on 02/08/2008, -1/+12They didn't bury this story or make it *poof* disappear. Way to go!
Watch Scientologists "handle" an SP (suppressive person) who shows up to their party. "What are your crimes? Murder, perhaps!" Great stuff: http://youtube.com/watch?v=pPol_m8wm8Y - djadamjay, on 02/08/2008, -1/+11dugg for NPR

- prisoner24601, on 02/08/2008, -0/+9I'm ASTONISHED that there is any "official" Scientologist who would show up and discuss what they believe. There must have been some serious "behind the scenes" negotiations about subjects that would not be asked.
I've been watching all of the many Scientology articles in the recent weeks and it just sickens me that there is not even ONE SINGLE real Scientologist who has the courage to stand up here and openly answer direct questions.
I invite Muslims, atheists, Mormons, Buddhists, Jehovah's witnesses, everyone to post a statement like mine below. If a single Scientologist stands up I'll be astounded.
I am a Christian. I am proud of what I believe and will respond to questions about it if asked. - madwaxer, on 02/08/2008, -2/+11not to mention the legal attacks

- screwfanboys1, on 02/08/2008, -1/+9a couple days ago when i was folding laundry i saw on *gasp* inside edition a segment about Scientology and a story of some girl who grew up in the cult. It sounded exactly like that 32 list thing that has been going around the internet. the the word is spreading.
- JoeVet, on 02/08/2008, -0/+8The whole point of Anonymous and these threads is to educate people about scientology.
- nastajus, on 02/08/2008, -1/+8mikesbaker, you're posting on digg as you said this. shut up!

- KentAllard, on 02/08/2008, -2/+9well at this point any media coverage is better than what we got on australian tv last night
- Berkana, on 02/08/2008, -1/+8What needs to make it to NPR is coverage of Scientology's secret prison and labor camps where they send errant members of their Sea Org private navy to be re-educated by serving as slave labor. Folks, this stuff is going on in the US and Europe today, and it needs to be exposed:

- inactive, on 08/11/2008, -0/+5Wow, the retard who compared Anonymous to the KKK sure made me chuckle.
- TheCosmicFool, on 02/08/2008, -1/+6This is all good except Digg != anonymous... I'm all for the cause but having all the spewed onto Digg and people saying "I am anon" is against the point. Do you see an Anonymous username above this post? no you see TheCosmicFool.
Back on topic though... my Anonymous sources do agree this is win! - SiNN4R, on 02/08/2008, -1/+6Your forgot rules 1 and 2 of the internet. Never tell anyone about Ebaumsworld.

- prisoner24601, on 02/08/2008, -0/+4Thanks for joining in. I'm happy to hear from an agnostic who is open with their uncertainty.
Now it would be nice to hear from a Scientologist who would like to share how they are certain Xenu brought people to earth millions of years ago. Or, conversely, I'd love to hear one f them flat out deny that "alien origins of mankind" are part of their theology. It just be a great big thrill for me to hear ANY Scientologist here go ahead and directly say ANYTHING with even the slightest sense of authority. It's amusing that the Church of Scientology can't produce even ONE person willing to stand up and make a single statement about their doctrine with as much conviction as an agnostic can say "I don't know."
Scientology, your silence is deafening. - ubergeek09, on 02/08/2008, -2/+6That is one of the gathering places of anon, not the only place that anon gathers though.
- themanflounders, on 02/08/2008, -2/+6"Internet pranksters" or "Masked avengers" - exactly what the rest of the world sees this movement as.
