- bucfish, on 10/11/2008, -1/+98Can Kokesh be our Patrick Henry. I pledge my wealth, my life and my sacred honor to the cause of liberty. Shall the meek not join us may they enjoy their chains but as for me "Give me Liberty or give me Death" the government we have has run a mock. The Federal Reserve and the Elite has owned this country for far too long. It is our time that We The People stand up to oppression. Not in violence but in civil disobedience. Time We The People say "No Mas"
- Felix1085, on 10/12/2008, -3/+85Adam Kokesh is a war veteran that truly loves America. If they try to stop him, I will stand and declare,
I AM ADAM KOKESH! - jgj1955, on 10/11/2008, -2/+82This guy is absolutely amazing. Wonderful speech!
- sheeplescareme, on 10/12/2008, -1/+68that was one of the best speeches of the day. if you weren't moved, you lack a heart.
- gardengrocer, on 10/12/2008, -2/+60Go Adam,keep rallying the people!
- mkauai, on 10/11/2008, -2/+59No More !!!
- RagnarD2, on 10/12/2008, -3/+56He is HOPE.
- Goodanswer, on 10/12/2008, -2/+49We as Veterans love America as you do. We choose to serve when it was voluntary. We will not let tyranny and oppression disgrace our Great Nation any longer.
There are Millions of us and only hundreds of them. Do the Math. They forgot to make our Generation as lax and ignorant as they had so hoped to do. We have grown up in a time of constant change. Now we will make the USA what our Founding Fathers had wanted it to be and by that we will lead the World with our words and not with a Gun to Peace. Unless they force and bite the hands that feed them, they will stop this charade of superiority. We will always win. Resistance has never lost. Looking at all the underground movements in History will tell you that. - bucfish, on 10/12/2008, -1/+43Head of the IVAW Iraq Veterans against The War
- le0pardess, on 10/12/2008, -1/+43I think I'm in love..."When injustice becomes law resistance becomes duty".... (((make it happen)))
- ladalang, on 10/11/2008, -4/+45who is he?
- UnrealMiniMe, on 10/12/2008, -2/+40As I wrote on the video itself:
This man will go down in history as a hero of freedom. - snowrail, on 10/12/2008, -2/+36"Adam Charles Kokesh was a Corporal in the United States Marine Corps Reserve and a veteran of the Iraq War. He is currently an anti-U.S. occupation of Iraq activist and is notable for wearing portions of his military uniform to anti-war protests and the attempts of the Marine Corps to downgrade his honorable discharge in response."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Adam_Kokesh - adarkmethod, on 10/12/2008, -2/+35Thats a ***** troop worthy of my support
- lepster10101, on 10/12/2008, -10/+41Do you want to sit in front of your PC and agree with him, or get off your ass and make a difference? It's your choice...... ***** the GOP.
- lepster10101, on 10/12/2008, -2/+32Share, Email, Blog. Whatever it takes. This is a message that must spread...!
- Niallgriff, on 10/12/2008, -2/+32I'm at a loss for words, ***** amazing speech and dead right to boot.
- sratiug, on 10/12/2008, -0/+30Great speech!!!
- sigg14, on 10/12/2008, -4/+33this is not a partisan issue, I think you missed the point of the speech
- macinit1138, on 10/12/2008, -2/+30A good American, need more of them.
- Stryder81, on 10/12/2008, -2/+29Now, that's a speaker.
- triclipse, on 10/12/2008, -0/+26***** the "Democrats" too - if you don't understand that there is no true distinction between the GOP and the Dems, you understand NOTHING.
- 007brendan, on 10/12/2008, -2/+28The Democrats and the GOP are basically the same. You only need to look at the Democratic congress voting point for point with George W.
- kerston, on 10/12/2008, -1/+24Go Adam! What you do takes alot of guts. I know alot of warmongering wanna be patriots (you know the ones who do'nt really know what the word means) give you alot of grief. You have a great message and I thank you for your bravery in standing in the face of much critisism to continue to do what is right. I enjoyed meeting you at the after party in Minnessota.~Peace
- quesi, on 10/12/2008, -1/+24the answer is to return to the guaranteed "republican form of government"
article IV, section 4, Constitution for the United States of America
http://digg.com/politics/Republican_Government_It_ ...
hint
Its not the GOP - eldudereno, on 10/12/2008, -2/+21Amazing speech but i agree with bucfish if their has to be a revolution it would be better if it were via peaceful civil disobedience just like Gandhi and even being prepared to go to jail.
- newsound6, on 10/12/2008, -1/+20Kokesh is a little intimidating at first look.
Good.
It's inevitable that we will begin to see a trend towards radicalization in youth in the years to come. I'm all for the radicals pushing the ideas of personal freedom, liberty, and peace.
He's an Iraq war vet dealing with PTSD. Dude got sent over their to kill, and now the government won't cover his benefits claiming he already was ***** up before he got to Iraq. He looks out towards his country and sees only apathetic zombies.
Who can blame him for being mad? He's just starting to emerge, his rhetoric will cool, but I think we'll be seeing more of Kokesh in the future. - Aceous, on 10/12/2008, -2/+21The music takes away so much of the gravity of his speech.
- angeladtao, on 10/12/2008, -2/+20I wrote this email and sent it to my following of political friends. Perhaps it might give others ideas for similar emails to their friends.
Hello Fellow Patriots!
If you are as concerned as I am about the direction our country is heading in, then listen to this
young Iraq veteran speak. He is giving the clarion call to our citizens. Will you listen to him?

What is our country's future, our children's future worth to you? What will you contribute to the
cause? What are you willing to do to get our country back from those who have stolen it from us - Noods, on 10/12/2008, -2/+19I was at the Revolution March and saw this excellent speech. Adam Kokesh is going to be a name that keeps popping up in our future.
- j.carcinogen, on 10/12/2008, -0/+16You sound like what the loyalists said about the patriots circa 1778.
- CityzenInsane, on 10/12/2008, -1/+17I loved the speech. The background music was quite unnecessary.
- SleepParalysis, on 10/12/2008, -2/+18This is excellent.
His blog: http://kokesh.blogspot.com/ - le0pardess, on 10/12/2008, -1/+17You mean woke you up.
- Hockey13, on 10/12/2008, -0/+16"Sounded militant?" He didn't advocate violence unless it was out of self-defense from the government.
- triclipse, on 10/12/2008, -2/+17His Rally for the Republic speech was both inspiring and chilling (chilling, because we know what we have to do).
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dmsJe1S0z8w - digitronix, on 10/12/2008, -1/+16If you're not creeped out enough by what the US government is doing, then you need to alter your perspective. Despite what you hear from politicians, the US government is the biggest force for evil on the planet.
- Cgeoffrion, on 10/12/2008, -2/+16Its time to awaken the second superpower of the globe; The people.
- mcsenget, on 10/12/2008, -0/+13We need a Patrick Henry. And a Sam Adams and a Thomas Paine.
Ron Paul might be Thomas Jefferson... - Hockey13, on 10/12/2008, -0/+13Economic freedoms and personal freedoms are the same thing.
An attack on economic freedom is an attack on personal freedom. An attack on personal freedom is an attack on every citizen. This is why he is "a little on the angry side." - bucfish, on 10/12/2008, -0/+13This is NOT a call to arms but a awakening call to civil disobedience.
- damm, on 10/12/2008, -2/+15I'm not one for commenting, but I will say that was an excellent moving speech.
If that doesn't stir your soul, nothing will. - deem1890, on 10/12/2008, -11/+23Meet the Press w / Russert June 08 2008

http://slaveuprising.com - lazerus9, on 10/12/2008, -0/+10You need to read "Thomas Paine" if you think the revolutionary call to arms happened over night!
Here is a good link:http://www.ushistory.org/PAINE/ - Observant1, on 10/12/2008, -0/+10learn more about what is really going on you will begin to understand it, and probably even relate to it
- j.carcinogen, on 10/12/2008, -1/+10He's an ex-marine that was in Fallujah, what do you expect?
"When the people fear the government, there is tyranny, when the government fears the people there is liberty." - Thomas Jefferson
At least Kokesh is out there doing something. - Jude007, on 10/12/2008, -0/+9But you can't change government without it.
