Never before seen 30 minute video of WTC attack watch!
revver.com — A video blogger has uploaded an unedited 30 minute video of the WTC attacks to Revver. It was filmed from their home 500 yards from the north tower. This is the first time this video has been publicly released.

- skoles, on 10/12/2007, -3/+20It is an amazing piece. One of the few I will add to the ones I've saved.
Althought, it does look like there's more to it. There is a jump when the 2nd plane hits. - Linkage155, on 10/12/2007, -2/+22@skoles
I believe that "bump" was caused by the filmer stopping the recording and starting again when the incident happened, I myself would have not thought the building would go
down, it seemed like something tragic but well, I will not say "fixable" but.. under control. - TenebrousX, on 10/12/2007, -4/+48http://media.revver.com/broadcast/59686/video.mov

- skankyBacon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+26It seemed like the camera was off but nearby for each of the 4 major events (both aircraft collisions and both collapses).
Regardless, some amazing footage. - Rothschild, on 10/12/2007, -65/+14Here is also a never before seen video. with unknown explosion in the background.

BTW, this vid should disprove the bomb theory, you can see the smoke comming out of the top (convection) and somkes coming out of other floors and you know it's spreading like crazy.- BattleChimp, on 10/10/2007, -0/+0No one ever said there WASN'T a fire..... wow....

- mikemac, on 10/12/2007, -6/+22A skyscraper collapsing is one of those monumentally huge forces that affects all things in itself at once. One floor didn't land on the lower floor, making both floors fall onto the next, proceeding on like an inductive proof. The infrastructure melted and twisted, probably the steel girders holding the windows in place twisted a mere inch, enough to shatter the entire window.
- Rothschild, on 10/12/2007, -72/+14OMG 12 MINUTES INTO THE VIDEO, WHEN THE SECOND PLANE CRASHES SHE SAYS "It was a military plane, omg" ??????????? I thought it was 747's???
- osbjmg, on 10/12/2007, -24/+14thestorey - I am not against this somehow being started by our own government, but don't act like you can prove it with two dots on this video. I mean we are all pretty sure the planes actually hit the towers, that is undeniable. Wether this was orchestrated by insiders or not is up to debate. The explosions wouldn't need to happen when the plane hit, but later...
Honestly though this government is so big and bureaucratic, they can't get out of their own way. I could definately see a private interest with a few high-level government officials with a vested interest feeding them information though (see: Haliburton). - generalalcazar, on 10/12/2007, -21/+15@Rothschild
They were 747s. United Airlines are painted gray on the bottom, which is why some people confuse them for military planes. - D4r7h3v1l, on 10/12/2007, -4/+76I Just made a torrent (please seed):
http://www.highring.com/30min911.torrent - jbus, on 10/12/2007, -6/+20@ Rothschild
I thought it was a military plane too when I originally saw the second plane hit live on TV. I think it was mainly because of the speed and angle that it came in, and it looked so small compared to the huge towers. I think most of us are just not used to seeing an airliner flying at that speed and making such tight turns.
People need to get over the idea that something other than these airliners hit the WTC and the Pentagon. If any well placed individuals in our government had their hands in these attacks it was in making sure that relevant intelligence was ignored, creating a situation where the skys over the US had little to no protection that morning and possibly recruiting, funding and/or providing strategic planning/support for the attacks. All of that could have been done by a relatively small number of high level officials and a handful or less of rogue CIA/NSA agents. - waynechng, on 10/12/2007, -32/+25@mikemac
The most amazing part about the steel in a skyscraper "twisting and bending" is that BOTH towers collapsed straight down without falling over and crushing surrounding buildings.
@osbjmg
A lot of people don't believe the government could do it because of its bureaucracy, but they believe some people sitting in a cave on a high desert plateau 8000 miles away has the ability to pull something like this off . - KingMofo, on 10/12/2007, -19/+22@waynechng
Would like to add that what - at least - some people are dubious about is not the fact that the two towers went down, but that untouched buildings that were merely on fire went down.
And this in the face of the fact that no steel building has ever collapsed from fire. - Herolint, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8@titlesaysitall
They probably were people. I saw several people jump out of windows before the buildings collapsed. My thought at the time was, what kind of horror they must have been facing with the fire inside to find jumping to their deaths preferable? - Herolint, on 10/12/2007, -11/+2Sorry, I clicked something twice.
- icealchemist, on 10/12/2007, -3/+8@Rothschild & @generalalcaza
They were 757 not 747. Shows how well any amateur is a distinguishing aircraft. Both the paint schemes of United and American when looked at quickly, a plane flying in excess of 500mph, look like the gray of a US Military plane. She was just simply mistaken and at a loss of words. - rejectpenguin, on 10/12/2007, -14/+10Sorry to mention this but this video IS edited. Notice the fade outs between clips.
- twtmc, on 10/12/2007, -19/+7I believe the government is too incompitent to have pulled this off themselves, so they hired private interests to do it for them and co-operated thusly. Larry Silverstein probably paid for part of it. Just my theory.

WTC7 suffered severe structural damage. I've gathered some quotes from a number of Firehouse Magazine interviews with firefighters on the scene that day: http://www.bautforum.com/showthread.php?p=807933#post807933
Picture of just one section of damage: http://www.kolumbus.fi/av.caesar/wtc/wtc7_2.jpg

For *****'s sake, why do you idiots continue to spout such utter drivel? Why the ***** do you *constantly* fail to realize that each tower was also struck by a very large plane? Failing to mention the impacts is either an indication that you've been, dare I say it, "brainwashed" by crap like Loose Change, or... you're just mentally retarded. I'm serious. You can't just ignore the damn impacts and whine about "no steel structure ever collapsed due to fire." That's grade-A *****.
Even then, if steel-framed structures can't possibly collapse due to fire alone, then why is fire-proofing the steel members a *requirement*?
But beyond that, it's actually a flat-out lie. Watch Screw Loose Change. They mention at least two steel structures that have collapsed due to fire.
http://www.lolloosechange.co.nr/
Also: "In commercial tall buildings there is a very small risk of progressive collapse due to a normal accidental fire. There have been very few records of progressive collapse caused by accidental fires."
http://www.nibs.org/MMC/ProgCollapse%20presentations/Scott's%20revised%20paper.pdf
Note, "very few", not "none". Truth-seekers my ***** ass... - Cl1mh4224rd, on 10/12/2007, -10/+5As an extension to my previous post...
One of the buildings mentioned in Screw Loose Change was McCormick Place in Chicago. "The gleaming white building burned down in 1967, a shocking event as it was largely steel and concrete and was thought to be fireproof."

Dylan Avery's a liar... - indijay, on 10/12/2007, -15/+2Watching an unedited video is a 'great way to remember'. Have you forgotten that almost 3000 lost their lives in that fateful event? I bet they don't want to watch this video. OR you just keep your feelings boiling on whoever had plotted this event?
May those souls rest in heaven. - MauiMac, on 10/12/2007, -13/+3(((((((((((((((((((((((((((------- This video HAS been edited! -----)))))))))))))))))))))))))
The second plane collision as well as some other parts ARE MISSING... - kbarron, on 10/12/2007, -8/+4Yea it's a great video in the sense that it really gives you an idea of the events of that morning and just how awe struck the people were. It's too bad the video either cuts out or was edited for every single controversial incident of the attacks. That is an amazing coincidence considering the diligence with which they kept the camera trained on the unfolding events. How closely they were able to zoom in onto the towers, capturing the poor people trying to escape below, and being meticulous enough to even show the power was out by filming the Christmas lights. .....
"There are no coincidences, only the illusion of coincidence" - MauiMac, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Why is video of the "military plane" missing? I thought this was UNedited.
- jessecollins, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2It hurts more and more to watch. I HATE terrorist. No God, yours or mine, believes in killing innocent people. I hope all you terrorist fools rot in hell.
- skoles, on 10/12/2007, -3/+20It is an amazing piece. One of the few I will add to the ones I've saved.
- Linkage155, on 10/12/2007, -19/+145Just finished watching it, and oh man. I was at such a young age when it happened well, 11 to be exact and it was very hard to grasp the idea of this many people dieing. Before for me it was just a building falling (in text of course); Thank you so much for the video (again) It really gave me a "first person view" to what really happened and now I can see it much clearer.
- kefs, on 10/12/2007, -14/+39why you guys modding him down?
- jesseroo, on 10/12/2007, -61/+21haha 11? it was only 5 years ago, so you're still young in my book!
- Dustyb, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20My feelings exactly, freind. I was in the 6th grade and my head couldn't even grasp the hate or even the scope of the whole situation. I watched some of the coverage on CNN pipeline and it hit me a lot harder this time than it did last. It's amazing what time does to a person...
- knightblade2oo4, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7Im with you.
I was 10. I had school and just watched a blip of news on the way out the door. My parents knew what was happening but I really didn't think much about it... you always see weird ***** on the morning news. I didn't know until i got to school the details of it.
thank's a lot for this vid. - inmatarian, on 10/12/2007, -1/+20I remember being 11 the first time these towers were attacked, back in 1993.
- bigbchew, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6man..I'm the same age as him, you'd be surprised at the different demographics on digg now.
- badfrog, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Wow... I was a freshman in college during the 1993 attack... No doubt about the different demographics!
- shadowsurfr1, on 10/12/2007, -2/+23I was 13 on 9/11/2001. 8th grade. Now 18, I am studying right over the river in Hoboken, NJ and have a view of the Twin Tower lights from my dorm room. Now the sight of the lights (and the video) sends chills through my spine. The lights seem to extend forever into the sky, through the clouds and all.
May they all rest in peace. - nwshc, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11I was in the 5th grade. They never told us till the last two classes which were at about 1 oclock I think. They told us that if we were going to get home alone (as I would get home first) not to turn on the tv and watch the news. Regardless, probably like me, everyone did.
- Boor, on 10/12/2007, -3/+2I was in grade 7 when this happenned, and the teachers kept on reasuring us that we would be ok (we were in some small town in southern Canada, like anyone would target us anyway). At the time I had no idea what the trade towers were, at the time I couldnt grasp what was happening, I still can't grasp what happenned. Either that or im an uncaring ass. I hope to god its not because Im an uncaring ass.
- D4r7h3v1l, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5I was in 5th grade on 9/11/01. I live on LI, less than 20 miles from the WTC. It was my 4th day at a private school. They didn't tell us at all. To get home from school, my bus always took the LIE. Since it was closed that day, we had to take backroads, making the trip over 2 hours long to go 16 miles. The bus driver wouldn't tell us why it was closed. I got home at 6:30 and my parents had the wives of people who worked in the city over watching the news, waiting for calls from their husbands. I remember my sister (then in 7th grade) plotting with her friend to not to their homework and say that they were affected.
It was not a good day, and it isn't very clear in my head. But it is the most vivid day I can remember. - swimmingbird67, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1i was eleven also and in the sixth grade, i had heard about it in my second period but i found it hard to grasp the concept of what had happened.
- cakestick, on 10/12/2007, -0/+25 days after starting college.. it wasn't a good year.
- oxymoron69, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1holy hell, i was 19 and working for Palm tech support on the level 2 queue.
that mornin when the ***** went down we didnt know what was goin on except that...
we had a complete lack of calls in our queue, considering the majority of our customers were business types in major centres like NY or scattered throughout CA.
yeah, digg is seeming pretty young, im 24 and i figured the majority of geeks that like to complain and make silly fart jokes were in the 18-34 demographic.

- AaronTyler, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13New york is a big city... they are mobilizing firetrucks from all over...
- david76, on 10/12/2007, -0/+10Actually, the fire trucks were probably on the other side where the plaza is, as opposed to the side in the video which is from over the West Side Highway.
- MikeMania, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Well I didn't mean it like that, how one shot in the beginning you can only see a few group of people and then suddenly fire trucks screaming all over the place. It was hectic and caught all of us off gaurd.
- david76, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4I'm guessing you've never tried to drive a firetruck through Manhattan. There were probably a LOT of trucks on the other side of the building on the other sides of the plaza because they came from within Manhattan. The firetrucks you see later are coming from much further uptown and drove down the West Side Highway.
- econoar, on 10/12/2007, -3/+95This is one of the best submission I've ever seen on Digg

But at least it does provide another vantage point for examination.- MikeMania, on 10/12/2007, -29/+9Well at this point 9/11 can possibly be grouped together with other historical events such as WWII. People should have already gotten over it and start learning about it.
- karmakanic, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10Which fundamental laws were you referring to? (your /sarcasm is unclear)
- david76, on 10/12/2007, -4/+6I guess you haven't read any of the ridiculous conspiracy theory posts. I'm speaking of the ones that say the building magically fell faster than gravity would pull it down thereby suggesting explosives were used in the demolition of the building.
- jtryba, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Wouldn't explosives inside the towers only make the sections under them fall faster than freefall? Sections above the explosion would have an upward force due to the explosion.
Unless it somehow created a vacuum, I don't see how an explosion would explain the top of the building hitting the ground before gravity would cause it to.

Personally, I was at work. A Co-worker came in and told me that a plane had crashed into the world trade center. I couldn't believe it... we watched the second plane hit on TV... it was surreal. I'll never forget that day. - NSMike, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15I was outside of a locked classroom in college, waiting for the professor to arrive, talking to a friend of mine when he told me a "plane" had crashed into the world trade center, and there was speculation that it wasn't an accident. Until about 3 hours later, after my classes were all done, that was all of the information I had. My first thought when I heard this was that it was some nut flying a cessna, not a jet. No one had specified the scale of the disaster, and I imagine my classmates, as well as professors, were isolated by their morning schedules.
It was when I was grabbing lunch that I got my first image of September 11. Probably a rare situation, my first glimpse of the attacks that day was of the burning Pentagon. It was on a TV in the snack bar, low volume so I couldn't hear details, but it was CNN, and the caption read "AMERICA UNDER ATTACK." My first thought was that the country was now at war, and military targets were being attacked systematically. I rushed back to my dorm, where everyone was crowded around their televisions, watching replays of the second plane hitting, and building collapses. News came in about the crash in Somerset (about an hour away from where I live). You know the rest from there.
I knew no one in New York City, no one in the World Trade Center, yet I was terrified. I told my father this on the phone, and he took my fear to mean that I was afraid of attack. This was not the case. I was more than 300 miles away from New York City, in a backwoods college town in Northwest Pennsylvania. I knew that the likelihood of attack there was nil. I was afraid for the future. I attended prayer meetings, talked for hours with friends. Many points of discussion came up. Not the least of which was the possibility of war, and a draft. A lot of us sat on the edge of our seats, waiting the rest of the day for more news... Anything. Of survivors. Of talks of a counter attack. Of another attack. All I wanted to hear... All any of us wanted to hear, was that things would be okay again. That night, it seemed distant, even impossible. Things returned to normal. Life resumed as it always does in the face of human adversity. Save one thing. A scab over a terrible wound on the security and safety that Americans bore as a people.
As much as I understand the importance of remembering, and the need to transmit to those younger, who may not have understood just what happened that day five years ago, for those of us who understood then, and understand now, this video is refreshing, yet tears at that scab on myself. This video, and the personal elements which magnify those memories, bring to the surface many feelings of fear, doubt, and anger. While it is not as terrible as what I felt on September 11, 2001, it is a strong reminder.
I think it won't hurt to pick at that scab every now and then, if only it means remembering. - funtownarcade, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5I remember my Mom waking me up by saying "America is under attack!" my heart started racing and I immediately looked out my window expecting to see guirilla warfare or communists parachuting in or something.
- keeganzero, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I remember the morning turning on the TV and seeing the First Tower Collapse and the feeling I had, just think what these people felt. Being yards away from this disaster, simply amazing.

- tokyomonster, on 10/12/2007, -4/+51I'm as liberal as they come pal, but please don't turn this into politics. Please, appreciate the video for what it is, a documentation of one of the greatest disasters ever to occur on American soil, and keep thoughts like those to yourself.
- blackmariah, on 10/12/2007, -26/+9Yeah, that part where he pushes the plunger on the explosives detonator then laughs maniacally sent chills down my spine.

Suggestion: watch this (and "9/11") with a box of tissues, or maybe a towel. - EdLesMann, on 10/12/2007, -1/+16Know what you mean. I have been online for almost 10 years now, I have see all kinds of sick and disturbing ***** and almost nothing phases me anymore. But damn... I cant make myself watch this...

"A system of government marked by centralization of authority under a dictator, stringent socioeconomic controls, suppression of the opposition through terror and censorship, and typically a policy of belligerent nationalism and racism."
Sounds as much like the Bush Admin. as it does Osama bin Laden... well in my personal opinion, it sounds MORE like the Bush Admin. Fascism requires centralization of power... thats the opposite of the kind of enemy we're pursuing in the "war on terror". - thisisjace, on 10/12/2007, -15/+4It's IslamoFacism.
- timbellomo, on 10/12/2007, -5/+18IslamoFascism:
"Islamofascism is a neologism and political epithet used to induce an association of the ideological or operational characteristics of certain modern Islamist movements with European fascist movements of the early 20th century, neofascist movements, or totalitarianism. Organizations that have been labeled "Islamofascist" include Al-Qaeda, the current Iranian government,[1] the Taliban, the Muslim Brotherhood, Hamas, and Hezbollah. None label themselves fascist, however, and critics of the term argue that associating the religion of Islam with fascism is both offensive and historically inaccurate."

- nysus, on 10/12/2007, -17/+10It looks like it's been edited. The scene cuts at the split second the second plane crashed into the tower and just after the building collapsed. There are also many transitions between clips.
- blackmariah, on 10/12/2007, -18/+8'Cause as we all know... people don't turn their cameras off. Ever. Especially not when planes are crashing into ***** right above their head.
I hope you get assraped by a dung beetle looking for dinner. - karmakanic, on 10/12/2007, -4/+14My guess: the people filming it didn't want to share what they said/did right at that moment, so they clipped it out. It's not hard to imagine that you'd say/do some very personal things...
- serpentor, on 10/12/2007, -6/+11BOOOOO! Don't hide human emotion, that's what makes true documentaries so powerful. I noticed the edit as well, and frankly, I don't care for their cut and paste job. It appears they also did the media's job of clipping scenes of people leaping off.. I'd rather see what REALLY happened in its entirety **untouched** not their 5 year old Adobe Premiere edit...
- blackmariah, on 10/12/2007, -18/+8'Cause as we all know... people don't turn their cameras off. Ever. Especially not when planes are crashing into ***** right above their head.
- econoar, on 10/12/2007, -13/+17Anyone find it odd that the 2nd plane hitting seems to be edited out followed by "it was a military plane". I guess they just missed the 2nd plane hitting but its odd how the video cuts out and then goes back right after it happens.
Sorry for this, just saying. Very moving video, we'll never forget.- bflfab, on 10/12/2007, -2/+15Yes, that is what it looks like. As Linkage155 pointed out way up in this page the cameraman likely turned the camera off and then back on.
- ant1832, on 10/12/2007, -6/+8Yes, that what I think. I'm confused why it was edited out and why they were both saying it was a military plane? Confused :(
- tokyomonster, on 10/12/2007, -2/+19Ant, they're clearly civilians and not military experts. The chances are, especially given the conditions of the situation, that they were not able to distinguish a military jet between a 747.
- signal15, on 10/12/2007, -15/+16All those conspiracy vids also say that it was a military plane. Interestingly enough, if you go frame by frame when the second building collapses, you can see the small explosions farther down the building as it falls, just like the conspiracy guys claim.
I'm all for not believing conspiracy theories, but after reading the Operation Northwoods docs, it's hard not to have some suspicion. - colonelmustard, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Just because it's choppy doesn't mean unedited, i mean he could have hit Pause and then Record again or had to change tapes or something. Just a possibility.
- mhanley, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8We all have the benefit of hindsight in our favor, 5 years later. Keep in mind, when this was happening live, there was all kinds of wild (and inaccurate) speculation. We have all seen the various footage that has been released, and pieced together in the time since 9/11. But on that morning, all we had to go on was the live feed from CNN (and every other news agency), and these folks saw it happen right out their window. Not surprising that they might not immediately recognize a 767 for what it was, without the benefit of instant replay.
- shultzy055, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3@signal 15
Do you not realize the staggering amount of energy that went through those buildings as the collapsed? The compression forces of the building must have been mindblowing, plus, just think of the entire mass of air inside of the towers all having to escape somewhere. The result, windows blowing out everywhere, and steel bending end over end, just thinking about it sends chills down my spine.
- Shorties, on 10/12/2007, -7/+619/11 was one of the worst things to happen to the US ever, not only did many people die but it gave the executive branch way too much power over the country.

- TylerKnott, on 10/12/2007, -1/+18Amazing, riveting footage. One thing, kind of off topic, does the background music, the slow kid's music playing "Knick Knack Paddy" give anyone else an even more creepy/sad feeling?
Just a strange, strange soundtrack to such a terrible event.
Wow.- crackhammer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8I also found the music very surreal - as you said TylerKnott creepy/sad
- Hermitwise, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Well I'm sure they were trying to keep their kid occupied.
- flipkid, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Found that song creepy/sad too *shivers*
- Robotsu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Yeah, it gave it an even more completely surreal feeling. Just an amazing video, and as many others have said, I am immensely appreciative for it's uploading!
- wurzelgummage, on 10/12/2007, -6/+17"Military plane"? ? That's really going to set off the conspiracy nuts.
- zatrix, on 10/12/2007, -17/+7weird because shes the one with the camera and she says it was a military plane, makes you wonder
- tokyomonster, on 10/12/2007, -16/+10They're clearly civilians and not military experts. The chances are, especially given the conditions of the situation, that they were not able to distinguish a military jet between a 747.

- exsst, on 10/12/2007, -8/+6You've already said that in the above post tokyomonster, and the exact same thing..
Don't flood the board with your messages over and over again, none of us like that.
Also, why do you think people are so stupid?.. If they said it looked like a military plane it was for a reason, that reason being that they didn't say "It looked like a passenger air flight"; People have indeed seen passenger air flights before, believe it or not, Mr professor.
- rollingreligion, on 10/12/2007, -47/+9Wow, crazy the emotions this video brings back from the day of. Thank God for the way he has rebuilt our nation since this tradgedy. (Rom 8:28)
- xtr3m, on 10/12/2007, -5/+20So far there has been nothing to be grateful for, really.
- ProfessorRiffs, on 10/12/2007, -13/+25@rollingreligion
Our nation has hardly been rebuilt. Rather, it has been and is being increasingly torn apart by politicians using this tragedy as a soapbox and an election-time tool. Oh, and, take your biblical quotes elsewhere, please. - karmakanic, on 10/12/2007, -1/+17They're not rebuilding our nation. They are shaking the foundations and weakening the infrastructure, and if they're not careful, the whole thing will collapse.
Kinda metaphorical, don't you think.
A major purpose of the Constitution was to protect The People from domination by one particular creed or religion. They seem to be using this event as an excuse to attack the fundamental nature of the Constitution. This is probably a Bad Thing. - JimNorton, on 10/12/2007, -13/+7@ProfessorRiffs
Who are you to attempt to censor what people say here? Asking somebody to not include quotes from the bible is ridiculous and inconsistent with the tenants of a discussion forum such as this. Get over yourself. Not everybody hates religion. Would you be so annoyed if somebody quoted from a different book?
- NightRush, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6You can hear the heart beating in the vid before the window is opened. This film was kinda scary, as I never REALLY watched one of these, because, I never really showed much interest, It wasnt my country, but *****.
- MikeMania, on 10/12/2007, -5/+16Wait, they posted the video on Revver, which is the video site that pays uploaders for popular video right? Does anyone see anything wrong with this?
- wurzelgummage, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11Don't jump to any conclusions, they might be donating everything to 9/11 families or something.
- Linkage155, on 10/12/2007, -0/+31CNN's getting money for their WTC Video's, and tons of it. I could care less if they got some cash for this video, as long as I got to watch it. And better yet in high-def, thanks to the camera these people paid good money for.
- skankyBacon, on 10/12/2007, -3/+4And yet people protest Oliver Stone's tasteful 9/11 movie for being opportunistic and greedy.
- Schug, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Did you even read the beginning? They uploaded it to Revver because YouTube and Google Video claim the rights to sell it once it's uploaded according to their contract. They don't ever do this, but they might with a video like this.
- zenmouse, on 10/12/2007, -1/+15You know, it's a shame the filmer missed the key parts, such as when the second plane hit the tower, and the collapse of the towers (following the collapse rather than keeping the camera at one angle). It would be nice to put all those conspiracy theories to rest. I guess we'll have to wait for the day that the government releases those pentagon video tapes...which unfortunately will be never.
- exsst, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2yes, just like the JFK assassination video, which I'm telling you now has been thoroughly checked and it's 100% fake... the guy in the vehicle shot JFK. Everyone knows this.
- BobCat, on 10/12/2007, -10/+2What, THESE videos?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L75Gga92WO8
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TAaP4Z3zls8 - zenmouse, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Those are 3 frames that depict the event of a 500+ mph object hitting the pentagon at 1 fps. Unfortunately that gives us absolutely nothing. What I'm referring to are the videos from the nearby gas station, the department of transportation, and the nearby hotel rooftop cameras that are at the appropriate angles and capture more video than 1 fps.
Those tapes were sadly all confiscated within minutes of the impact. - STKD, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1As it's explained in Screw Loose Change, the tapes *cannot* be publically released. I forget the exact legal reasoning but it's similar to the situation with the Zapruder film. Something to do with privately owned video being publically shown after use as evidence.
- J6stik, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10My brother-in-law was in a place similar to where this was filmed. At first I couldn't understand how it would have looked to him, but now I understand.
I'm glad that the filmer of this decided to release, but I'm also glad that he/she decided to wait a while and make sure that it was the right time.- diggywiggit, on 10/12/2007, -12/+17The right time for what? For you to be scared near the elections?
- FishPoisonCon, on 10/12/2007, -6/+9funny how people seem to think politicians *only* take advantage of tragedies... but wouldn't actually manufacture them.

- ProfessorRiffs, on 10/12/2007, -38/+6Never forget? Wait. What happened? What day did it happen on? If only I could be constantly bombarded by the events and the date on which said events occurred, I might be able to remember.............It was a great tragedy but if I hear "never forget" again, I'll kill somebody. Maybe, almost 3,000 somebodies...........
- exsst, on 10/12/2007, -13/+8Yeah ... What about hurricane Katrina, or people dying via cancer (smoking)?
I vote that we should remember the lost souls killed by tobacco companies, let's never forget that, eh! - ProfessorRiffs, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4Can somebody tell me, please, what is so horrible about letting a fellow human being go quietly from this life, with dignity?
- exsst, on 10/12/2007, -13/+8Yeah ... What about hurricane Katrina, or people dying via cancer (smoking)?
- Asbradley21, on 10/12/2007, -7/+1Anyone have it in any other format?
- WalterDirt, on 10/12/2007, -6/+23Unedited? Maybe something is amiss here, my video clearly has fade in's and fade outs. Plus they removed the second plane hitting and the collapse. Whatever reason they did this is theirs, but to call it unedited is innacurate.
- serpentor, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9Yeah, pretty superficial of them to be begin with an intro saying how important a historical perspective this video shows. Well frankly, it would've been much more powerful had it not been chopped up and editted.
- eyrieowl, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7people on here just don't get it. they weren't reporters, they were people in their home. how many home videos have you seen where the whole tape is a single continuous shot? very very few. when people are taping something, they tape for a while, then stop the camera when they think the "interesting" stuff has ended. in hindsight, i'm sure they would like to have left their camera trained on the wtc at all the critical moments, but how many people expected what happened? note that they did have it running for the second collapse, just not pointed up at the top of the building so they missed the start of it. so, that's that for all the choppiness. afa fades go, if you've used many home cameras, a LOT of them have auto-fade built in, so when you stop the tape, it will fade out. i know i've used at least one video camera where the exact buttons you used to stop the tape varied whether it faded out or stopped cold. although again, if i had to guess, i would guess that the fades were from stopping recording, the more abrupt shifts were from pausing recording. it's bothersome that so many people a) don't take them at their word, and b) don't apply occam's razor to the question.
- Osmanthus, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4At about 1/3 the way through, it looks like you can see a guy climbing down between the windows. Good shot of him just after you see what looks like paper falling though the smoke...sadly i just continued watching and you see him fall :(

- anagoge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Has anyone been watching the real time footage on CNN Pipeline? I watched today as the two planes collided with the World Trade Center at exactly the same time as they did five years ago. It was very strange.
- maiku00, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2yeah, it was surreal
its like going back in time, you knew everything that was going to happen and you couldnt help but feel bad for everyone in that moment, even though you once were yourself

- fadking, on 10/12/2007, -37/+6I find an interesting irony in the woman's voice moments after the second plane hits the south tower, when she says "They're attacking the World Trade Center, not us", as compared to after the first tower collapses when she is audibley immobilized, crying and whimpering to the extent she can no longer control the camera.
While the events of this day were terrible, no doubt, her reaction seems typical of Americans - 'if it's not happening to me, or potentially going to affect me, then I don't care'. Sure, she was animated prior to the tower's collapse, but not nearly to the extent she is afterward. Proving the point further is when she asks if the air conditioner is off, and windows are closed. If that were me, I'd be high tailing it the ***** out of the city.
I hope people take away from this footage a deeper appreciation for their fellow humans, and gain the ability to introspect into the lives of others.
"Crises precipitate change."- stimcaps, on 10/12/2007, -1/+25What a stupid thing to take away from this footage. The woman thinks it's just a fire at first, that it's going to be contained, and some of the first comments she makes are along the lines of, "I hope there's no people in there. I hope it was too early."
This woman and her family are generous enough to share this personal moment with you, and all you can do is look at them with contempt. To use this video as an excuse to indulge your prejudices about Americans is really rather revolting, and your post says a lot more about you than it does about anyone else. - Hecks, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@fadking
To attribute such a mean-spirited attitude to the woman doing the filming - in a moment of great stress, is extremely unfair. Also at various stages in the filming her concern for those on the ground running away was palpable.
I'm not from the USA, but your generalisation about Americans as being self-centred is at odds with my experience of those I have met.
- stimcaps, on 10/12/2007, -1/+25What a stupid thing to take away from this footage. The woman thinks it's just a fire at first, that it's going to be contained, and some of the first comments she makes are along the lines of, "I hope there's no people in there. I hope it was too early."
- addrake, on 10/12/2007, -19/+7The feeling goes away after I quit watching it, and it really troubles me to say it....but watching videos of 9/11 really makes me hate Islam. I am just being honest here. It's tough not to see video of that atrocity and not get the gut, visceral feeling of hate. I am not that kind of person, but when I see what horrible things can be done, and celebrated no less, by fundamentalist believers of that religion it just makes me hate.
- To me personally that hatred is the worst thing to come from 9/11- Technopundit, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7The fact that they've all but quit looking for Bin Laden doesn't help much, either. If fact, I never believed our government ever really tried to apprehend Bin Laden.
I also feel this hatred welling up inside. I cannot understand our own government's reactions, and lack of reactions. Islam isn't all I feel anger toward. - slowboiled, on 10/12/2007, -6/+14Then let the hatred go my friends. Remember, not only has Bin Laden NOT been officially charged with orchestrating the attacks(check the FBI and DOD sites), but many of the hijackers that were said to be on those very planes are STILL alive. My point is, as uncomfortable as it may be to recognize this, Islam may not be responsible for 9/11 even if they are happy it happened. So don't hate brother, learn.
- karmakanic, on 10/12/2007, -3/+27- Hate the people who commit the atrocity.
- Hate the people who celebrate the atrocity.
- Hate the people who take advantage of the atrocity.
- Hate the people who, by their inaction, ignore the atrocity.
Do not hate Islam. Islam did not do this. PEOPLE did this, and then claimed they did it in the name of God.
That "in the name of God" always seems to get us into trouble... - Panoctopi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Hate is understandable but consider that it impairs your ability to learn and fully comprehend what has really happened... it's so easy to take refuge in the superficial story, to bravely hide behind patriotism and nationalism, to become a cynic, or to seek strength in indignation. But there's a story being told, and this is a indeed a tragic chapter, but the true tragedy will be that in a couple of decades when this is 'history' only a superficial, politicized, manipulative account of what happened, how and why will remain in the public domain.
- Technopundit, on 10/12/2007, -4/+7The fact that they've all but quit looking for Bin Laden doesn't help much, either. If fact, I never believed our government ever really tried to apprehend Bin Laden.
