      The issue isn't so much whether you're allowed to look at certain content but whether it will get you in trouble if someone happens to glance over your shoulder while it's on screen. It's called "not *safe* for work", not "not allowed at work". If your network access is being monitored, then yes, everything is off-limits; but if not, you still can't risk having your boss randomly walk by while something "inappropriate" is in full display.
