I've got a newer laptop with vista (2.1 dual core, 1.5 gig ram). It usually runs Vista pretty well. Its main problems are boot and shut down, which can be terribly slow, and just occasional (very occasional) hangs where it becomes slow and unresponsive. N … (see comment)

I'll amend my comment slightly: Apple will not release OS X for X86 computers, unless it loses to Psystar. If they lose, and the court rules that you can sell Leopard on a white box, Apple will start licensing. (see comment)
