- Groucho88, on 04/26/2009, -0/+35"Yeah, I'm gonna need 500 gallons of Sky Blue paint for these towers I'm building. What? You only have 100 gallons? Yeah, I guess that will do. I will take 400 gallons of any other colors you get then."
- CeruleanRed, on 04/26/2009, -1/+27That's going to look really dated in about... now.
- Punjabdasher, on 04/26/2009, -3/+26i'm naked
- mogebier, on 04/26/2009, -1/+17Not only do they look like bundled poster tubes, and they have odd windows, but then to paint them like THAT?
Are they the "Projects" of Paris? - that1girlondigg, on 04/26/2009, -8/+21I like.
- Kohaxx, on 04/26/2009, -0/+12There's experimental design, and then there's just plain ugly.
These are just plain ugly. - GB570, on 04/26/2009, -0/+11Cool building design but the color is gross.

This is near where I live. Even more hideous. But at least not visible from a long distance. - verynegative, on 04/27/2009, -0/+9good to hear.
- DaveClarkOne, on 04/26/2009, -0/+9Architects on Acid
- GB570, on 04/26/2009, -0/+9In the year 2000....in the year 2000
- Ninorcjw, on 04/26/2009, -0/+9In the year 2000, buildings will be painted to appear as if they're from the 8-Bit Nintendo Entertainment System.
- Brassbud, on 04/26/2009, -1/+9Digital Camo: You're doing it wrong.
- nullcodes, on 04/27/2009, -1/+8This was how they hid from ze Germans in WWII.
"Paris? Nein, ze area is all forest." - Sofi4n, on 04/26/2009, -3/+10Sucks like hell.
- eagles7977, on 04/25/2009, -1/+8only in paris

- CrazySpaniard, on 04/26/2009, -0/+5i was hoping for lego
- BobTheTaco, on 04/26/2009, -0/+5de blob got to them I guess
- MotoFly, on 04/27/2009, -0/+5MY EYES!
- TaintBrush, on 04/27/2009, -0/+4It kind of reminds me of that multicolored stuffing inside of school bus seats that people would rip in to and pull out.
- Aceanuu, on 04/27/2009, -0/+4The sad truth is these are basically slum housing. Public works to house the "servant class" of the rich in Paris. I learned about this in my Arch class, funny thing is those windows are made like water drops.... and they seal about as well as swiss cheese. So water gets in, they freeze, then break the windows (or the windows break on their own as the swivel open from a center hinge). Then, when they break, how do you fix a custom made water drop window? You pay a premium for a custom made replacement, which none of the residents can afford. I can go on, but needless to say this was a lecture from the former Dean of Architecture at UT and it was on the "The Best of the Worst" end of semester lecture.
- cMXR, on 04/26/2009, -3/+7hideous
- vickerz, on 04/26/2009, -0/+4they look like camouflaged buildings...be vewy vewy quiet...

And they're ugly as sin - Jektal, on 04/27/2009, -0/+4Yes, someone did. I am almost sure of it.
- MrSchler, on 04/27/2009, -1/+5they are camoed so the terroriz can't see them
- rodo75005, on 04/27/2009, -0/+4This is Nanterre not Paris.
One of the wost ghetto in France. Great place to buy drugs. - builtby, on 04/27/2009, -1/+5I kind of like it. Not that their really beautiful or anything but at least you aren't living in some box.
- gatorfree, on 04/27/2009, -0/+4I think I saw those in "La Haine."
- ctnp, on 04/27/2009, -1/+5Untrue. A French construction firm has been building a new mall in the Meadowlands in New Jersey, near Giants Stadium.
Here's a photo. Spare me the jokes about North Jersey, but the exterior color of this place is much more horrendous in-person than the photo depicts.
http://weblogs.newsday.com/sports/watchdog/blog/xa ... - kingofinternet, on 04/26/2009, -4/+7no wonder they riot in the banlieus
- JKount, on 04/27/2009, -0/+3Would look much better with just blue for sky and white and grey for clouds.
- outToLunch, on 04/27/2009, -1/+4Dug for author's reply to the first comment ... and the buildings are kind of cool.
- lonedust, on 04/26/2009, -0/+3Aside from that once-a-while match against the blue sky, these are awkward and reminds me of puke. Cylindrical pukes.
- alvinhokid, on 04/27/2009, -0/+3looks like camo for buildings lol
- jitterbits, on 04/27/2009, -0/+3The distant future. The year 2000.
- woofers07, on 04/27/2009, -0/+3They'd be ugly even if it didn't look like someone had just puked on them.

- Shawno1, on 04/27/2009, -0/+3What a waste of paint.
- fribhey, on 04/27/2009, -0/+3yeah xanadu is ugly as hell.... but that large orange building on the left is an indoor ski park and i won't care what the outside looks like when i will be able to go snowboarding on a 90+ degrees day in the middle of july
- yourbrokenoven, on 04/27/2009, -0/+2First picture is pretty.
- Jektal, on 04/27/2009, -0/+2Wow, yeah. I didn't need to scroll horizontally, and I run the browser windowed.
- mikebritton, on 04/27/2009, -0/+2If a structure leaks consistently because it's poorly designed, it's full of fail no matter how good it looks.
- FadieZ, on 04/27/2009, -0/+2LOLOLOLOL
- PaulClayberg, on 04/27/2009, -0/+2Anyone know which arondissement these are in?
- sgnpkd, on 04/28/2009, -0/+2Im sure iwas trapped in that tall building on the 1st pic chased by zombie nurse from floor to floor in one of my nightmares.
- bengoza, on 04/27/2009, -0/+2Ugh, it's like someone vomited out those buildings.
