People are more concerned in get pics and interview the celebrities than anything else. The real popular carnaval in Brazil is in the northeast of the country, especialy Bahia and adjacents.

- renbot, on 03/01/2009, -0/+1I was in Rio this year for carnaval. Amazing party, but the sambadrome where most of these pics were taken is a huge rip off. I paid $350 CND for my tickets and they oversold the section so there was no room for anyone. People were pushing and fighting and not much fun at all. Save your money the pictures are better then being there live.
