- AmICoolNow, on 02/18/2008, -4/+55Why does this particular story attract so many terrible comments?
- xb00t, on 02/18/2008, -19/+57Little boxes on the hillside,
Little boxes made of ticky-tacky,
Little boxes, little boxes,
Little boxes, all the same.
There's a green one and a pink one
And a blue one and a yellow one
And they're all made out of ticky-tacky
And they all look just the same... - Soave, on 02/18/2008, -2/+12On Digg, people now feel like they need to try to make a hilarious and vaguely relevant joke for every story they see. But no one realized that you can't make a relevant joke about this story.
- EchoAlpha, on 02/18/2008, -7/+16Apparently not many people are familiar with that song. It was written in the '60s and it's about suburbia.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Boxes - fritzek, on 02/18/2008, -2/+11Where do you live?
"second circle, 0.5*exp(j*pi) km" - dajernts, on 02/18/2008, -6/+14Yeh, I've never seen so many lame jokes in a row.
- tmbrwolf19, on 02/18/2008, -6/+12Seems so! Its sad how so many people in North America have been brainwashed into thinking suburbia is a good / only way to live.
- Le3f, on 02/18/2008, -1/+5Whats wrong with greenery? Don't call it wasted space...
- shayne8181, on 02/18/2008, -3/+7because there is nothing to discuss. its should be burried for its dullness and its reminder of how lack luster our societies are
- Gemfinder, on 02/18/2008, -2/+5And it describes Daly City, CA word-perfectly.
Don't Digg me down for that, I used to live there... - LucasVB, on 02/18/2008, -5/+8Little boxes made of ticky-tacky
- VenDrake, on 02/18/2008, -2/+4Sound's like somebody's mom tightened the security on NetNanny.
- ElBeh, on 02/18/2008, -9/+11Obama.
- atbnet, on 02/18/2008, -3/+4I'm glad you did enough experiementation to find that discovery. Well done.

- AmICoolNow, on 02/18/2008, -3/+4Have you seen Meet the Spartans?
- ozid, on 02/18/2008, -3/+4Greece invented the circle? Cool.
... - Psythik, on 02/18/2008, -1/+2Then you've never been to the Digg cemetery.
http://digg.com/comedy/Digg_Cemetary - jfish, on 02/19/2008, -2/+2Dugg for living in a circle city, Rotonda West, FL
http://maps.google.com/maps?q=Rotonda+West,+FL,+US ... - inactive, on 02/18/2008, -1/+1They organized their cities by grid and considered such organization superior to other methods.
- DNABeast, on 02/18/2008, -2/+2Bees are laughing at us.
- Psythik, on 02/18/2008, -1/+1As do many old people.
- smaze, on 02/21/2008, -1/+1Dugg cause the map of Sun City AZ is just West of where I live... In a square community.
- paweenthas, on 03/08/2008, -0/+0Yes, quite strange community

Amazing beautiful beach and Island at Krabi >> http://www.krabiphiphi.com - inactive, on 02/18/2008, -1/+1Because all the jokes are ***** and must be hidden!
- WonderBoy55, on 02/19/2008, -2/+1AHHHH! O MY GOD! I'M FALLING RIGHT OUT OF THE SKY!
- rappadema42, on 02/19/2008, -2/+1*sigh* ... another Digg graveyard ...
- h4ppydotcom, on 02/18/2008, -4/+3I hope you contacted the copyright owner and paid royalties before posting that. You wouldn't want the RIAA coming down on you, now...
- sunamc, on 02/18/2008, -2/+1It's not a circular design city.
- rappadema42, on 02/19/2008, -2/+1http://i30.tinypic.com/11b7og5.jpg
- shayne8181, on 02/18/2008, -7/+6i was gonna write the same thing. dugg for beating me to it
- Gemfinder, on 02/18/2008, -2/+1Beat me to it, I was going to say "Why isn't Black Rock City in the list?"
- pentalive, on 02/18/2008, -1/+0They could eliminate traffic lights altogether... Large circle - houses around the rim housed around the center. 4 road spokes. where the spokes meet, a traffic circle. parkland all around. Replace some of the "house circles" with business circles - round strip malls with all of the stores facing an interior courtyard, parking around the outside, loop road around that, buffer parkland beyond.
- Greenergrass, on 02/18/2008, -2/+1Certainly an interesting concept to save energy but awfully dense and deprived of green places to breathe and opened areas, sad, not my stuff.
- Logistics1, on 02/18/2008, -2/+1I really like the Denmark photos. I really like how they have around 50ft of front yard space and hedges instead of fences and open space all around. Surrounding golf courses.
- cJeremy, on 02/19/2008, -2/+1cuz people are haters. they want to live in suburbia... but they can't afford to.
- sunamc, on 02/18/2008, -3/+1I think the circular cities are garden cities or influenced by garden city design.
- zeyad, on 02/18/2008, -3/+1http://maps.google.com/maps?t=k&q=55.654722,12.416 ...
- pcheck, on 02/18/2008, -2/+0My grandparents moved out of Sun City last year. They lived just northeast of the second picture.
- maci01, on 02/18/2008, -3/+1No that was cavemen.
- eurynome420, on 02/18/2008, -3/+1who says that the people living in the first picture are ***** if there is ever a zombie attack?
- tajasc, on 02/18/2008, -4/+2LOL! i was thinking the same thing when i saw this. that song came right to my mind.
- Jellzilla, on 02/18/2008, -2/+0#2 reminds me of GParted
- NamelessCoward, on 02/18/2008, -4/+2those are NOT circular communities!
- Gemfinder, on 02/18/2008, -3/+1Or B Street, 7:15.
That's the way we do it in Black Rock City. - scrotumbrau, on 02/18/2008, -2/+0Really? Really? You see no irony in a country that wishes to wipe Israel from the map designing communities in the star of David?
- Gemfinder, on 02/18/2008, -3/+1Screw You, I already broke it! :D
- corndog4, on 02/18/2008, -4/+2http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&q=ucf&um=1&ie=UT ...
- wrzhydr, on 02/18/2008, -4/+2You would have to turn right depending on where you lived in that community. Unless you wanted to take the long way around. And besides, it's 2 left turns (at most) you would have to make in one trip to leave the community. Find something else to complain about please.
