- Cheeselover, on 02/10/2009, -10/+313Guys, I just got back from the season finale, that ***** was poppin'! It explained everything.
So basically, after Charlie is resurrected in exchange for Ben, Jack and Locke start this battle over the fate of everyone on the island. Soon thereafter, Richard Alpert comes out and stops them both, and we finally get to see Jacob(more on that later), who explains the smoke monsters importance! Turns out, all along, it was --
Oh *****. Time warp. I cant post any more. Listen, it was Hurley's fault, he -- - Haoie, on 02/11/2009, -5/+154As long it doesn't turn out to be 'all a dream'.
- phrenzy, on 02/11/2009, -11/+153Kate is ***** hot.
- paulieslim, on 02/11/2009, -4/+106keep the show at 88 MPH!
- Trigonometron, on 02/11/2009, -0/+100Here's that roll of Dharma Toilet Paper. You gave it to me, you said "you'd know" what to do with it.
- paulieslim, on 02/11/2009, -7/+70If My Calculations Are Correct, When This Island Hits 88 MPH, You’re Gonna See Some Serious *****
- brenelz, on 02/10/2009, -16/+79Wow Lost's Time Travel is really neat.
- WhiskeyWrites, on 02/11/2009, -5/+65That's just about where I thought the show got a lot more interesting.
- MScrip, on 02/11/2009, -1/+53Where we're going we don't need the story to make sense.
- virtualball, on 02/11/2009, -0/+50Kate, WE HAVEEE TO GO BAAAAAACCCCKKKKKK!!!
- mnortei, on 02/11/2009, -1/+44http://timelooptheory.com//the_timeline.htm anyone remember this? It was FP a long long time back. It's amazing how spot on some of the things have been re-reading that
- Lykil, on 02/10/2009, -5/+45Time travel always makes sense! Either that, or it never makes sense. Which one, that is the question.
- dn11, on 02/11/2009, -7/+47But little does everyone know that time travel is just a red herring: here is the real secret of LOST:
"Jacob" is JJ Abrams, and the final episode ends with Locke cracking open a final hatch station known as "The Clam Bake"... which is actually the LOST writers room. Ben shows up and takes Abrams and the writers hostage - forcing them to rewrite season 2, thus erasing the existence of about half a dozen useless characters and subplots that they never had time to get back to. The final scenes show Jack crying before disappearing from existence, as the script from season 1 about him falling in love with Kate gets coffee spilled on it, thus erasing his entire character arc and forcing him to die in the pilot. Vincent the dog suddenly shows up at the last minute and bites JJ Abrams fatally in the nuts, because he went crazy when no one paid attention to him for the last 40 episodes and he was living alone in the jungle eating small rabid animals. Thus the show ceases to exist. cut to black. - maxer64, on 02/11/2009, -2/+39Watching Lost during the seasons is complete torture. Always left wanting more for another week. Watching the whole season on DVD over a weekend.. the definition of instant gratification. God it is sweet.
- vashth3stampede, on 02/11/2009, -1/+34I Capitalize The First Letter Of Every Word In My Sentences For No Good Reason.
- EndersGame, on 02/11/2009, -4/+34The time travel thing is actually starting to bug me a bit, granted I am putting too much thought into a tv show. But I started thinking about the scene with the canoe, how come the canoe traveled in time with its occupants? Simply because they were sitting in it? For all we know they traveled back in time before the canoe was actually built. Maybe the writers have a good explanation for all of it but I don't think it will ever make complete sense to me.
- Craftybadger, on 02/11/2009, -4/+33How many Lost members does it take to change a light bulb?
2, but it takes them 20 episodes. - SarahEdits, on 02/11/2009, -1/+27Oh no, I've gone cross-eyed.
- JlmAWP, on 02/11/2009, -1/+27Hey, I liked Mario 2, mister.
- zip000, on 02/11/2009, -0/+25I didn't start watching until mid 2007 when I watched seasons 1-3 on dvd in like 3 weeks.
Now, at the end of every episode, I'm like: crap, what happens next!
I think it is a show that is better to watch all together than spread out over weeks; I kind of wish that I'd just waited until the show was over before watching any of it, but now, I can't just stop and wait until the DVDs come out. - inactive, on 02/11/2009, -2/+25If you want to know if will ever travel in a time machine here is how to check
Ready
1. Promise yourself if you will ever be in a time machine you will visit your self on a day you remember.
2. Did you visit yourself on that day? If not it will never happen because it is in the past - ARTLUKM, on 02/11/2009, -0/+23Or the holodeck....
- PixelPusher74, on 02/10/2009, -19/+42Yes, I still watch but... I record several episodes before watching because a cliffhanger every episode just pisses me off. I think the writers are lost.
- Nicoon, on 02/11/2009, -5/+27The above comment was RE . .
. . . wait for it . . .
. . . TARDED! - virtualonliner, on 02/11/2009, -1/+22At least its lot more sensible and meaningful than the ones we saw in Heroes. That show is all over the place.
- inactive, on 02/11/2009, -0/+1812 monkeys is all you need to know about losts time travel
- alecks, on 02/11/2009, -0/+18Uhmm... I dunno about you, but if I suddenly came upon a time machine, I guarantee you I won't be trying to remember what day I told myself I would visit myself 30 years ago. I wouldn't give a ***** about my self 30 years go just to prove a point. I'd be trying to figure out how to make some $$$.
Shamalamadingdong - DavidTurnbull, on 02/11/2009, -0/+17...right now?
So when a TV show you happen to like starts then it won't be important anymore?
You're statement is kind of redundant then. - welestgw, on 02/11/2009, -1/+16This would also work for Dragon Ball Z
- OyVeh, on 02/11/2009, -0/+15I expected Lost would incorporate some form of time travel.
What was really shocking was when Hurley threw a hot pocket at Ben. I always believed Hurley incapable of throwing food. - norbiu, on 02/11/2009, -0/+15Exactly. That's all I need to know.
- inactive, on 02/11/2009, -1/+15talking about Charolotte's breasts when Kate is around is like admiring a Mustang that is parked right next to a Ferrari.
- Xider, on 02/11/2009, -1/+15I thought about that too, but summed it up to them having the ability to bring what they are touching with them.
Otherwise, all their clothing, backpacks, and misc gear would not be traveling either.
I also wondered what would happen in the reverse, if they traveled while they aren't in contact with one of their backpacks. - noumuon, on 02/11/2009, -0/+14but less important than trolling on digg it seems...
- Sternology, on 02/11/2009, -0/+14which is a shame really because I was hoping that everytime they jump that Kate would end up starkers like Desmond did the first time it happened to him. Damn those Khaki threads
- Willis3D, on 02/11/2009, -0/+13Word! and what the hell with commercial breaks like every 5 min. Tonight I'll be Tivo'n it, then an hr. later, I can enjoy Lost ad free.
I started watching Lost when I learned ABC.com had them in HD (before they add commercials to the online streams.) Season 4 was starting to air when I was starting on season one. I was hook and watched 3-5 episodes a night and got caught up about 4 episodes before the season 4 ender.
It sucks having to wait a week for new Lost, and soon they will start the 2-3 week gaps between new episodes. Oh how I loved the days (nights really) when Lost would have its OMG ending, and I would be loading up the next episode with in a few seconds. - dotMH, on 02/11/2009, -1/+14Lost writers probably read that and thought "Sweet! A way out of this random non-sensical ***** we've been stuck for a couple seasons now." and then wrote it in the show.
Lost is a great show. You can never know what's supposed to happen next. A nice change from the usual shows where you can usually guess the whole plot from a couple of episodes. - subigo, on 02/11/2009, -2/+15At least you had time to hit dash dash submit.
- suprememilo, on 02/11/2009, -0/+13****Spoiler****
supposedly at the end of the video game you black out and then wake up right after the plane crashes on the beach. - TheKitchenSinkX, on 02/11/2009, -1/+13Don't watch Heroes, period. ***** went to hell after season 1.
- Oatlord, on 02/11/2009, -3/+15Good work, sir, good work. Clever.
- blikemike88, on 02/11/2009, -5/+17I can only imagine that "goofy land" is filled with people who decided to STOP watching lost.
- spearce, on 02/11/2009, -0/+11i used to think that the writers were just making it up as they go along. now, with all the time travel, a very in depth plot spanning multiple seasons is starting to take shape and i love it. however, i was left with 1 question regarding Jin and the French chick: was there ever a strange moment between them early on in the show when the french chick was first introduced? i mean, she would have certainly recognized Jin and should have acted strangely towards him but i can't remember that ever happening. this little bit of recollection between them could gage just how long ago the writers knew what they were eventually leading towards.
- SurrealDream, on 02/11/2009, -1/+12As much as I love LOST (look! I even wrote it in uppercase!), that would blow my mind.
I love crappy meta-layered sci-fi!!! (I'm looking at you, Dark Tower). - Tyrghast, on 02/11/2009, -9/+20Lost will never make sense. That's how they keep you watching.
- spearce, on 02/11/2009, -0/+11i don't think you could ever forget the guy you found floating on a plank in the ocean while you were floating on a raft after your boat sank.
- inactive, on 02/11/2009, -0/+11I learned probably somewhere toward the end of the first season, that the only way to truely enjoy Lost is to not ask too many questions, its definitely more enjoyable this way.
- oyflaaaayvin, on 02/11/2009, -2/+12Let's see if these writers can do 90!
- inactive, on 02/11/2009, -0/+10or a ***** snow globe in the hands of a tard.
- manzplan, on 02/11/2009, -8/+17dont over analyse the show.. we love it!! and thats good enough
