I was astounded by the number of times I would hear phrases like: "... but what if you were Jack Bauer and ... " or the ever popular "... yea! Like on 24!" I don't think the show is propaganda. I do believe that the show is so ubiquitous, that people now equate the show with real life terrorism. So, I believe that the show has a great deal of political power ( which simultaneously saddens and scares the crap out of me) and people should be made more aware of it.
