Because once it's shown in America, everyone else can get it on bittorrent. - wingnut21, on 10/12/2007, -1/+13Lost: 9/27/06
And this year, no reruns! - yensed, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9"ยท ANDY MILONAKIS SHOW, THE (MTV2)

And I for one would like to say, THANK GAWD! - LordSkywalker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+8WhyTF was this ever even on?
- doctorpants, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7I'm American. I want to say, on behalf of the Americans here, that our culture dictates that we have pissing contests on a regular basis. This explains why they say 'no one else matters." In reality we really are quite fond of all of you out there in... not-america-land.
As you can see, my American education did not afford me geography. - ghm101, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7Thousands of UK Bittorrent clients are now being made ready....
- Dagur, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8I want arrested development :-(
- theotherme, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7no new firefly this year :(
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Naval Criminal Investigation Service. It's a show about seamen being probed.
- skywake, on 10/12/2007, -5/+11yeah... the US does put more money into TV shows...
I am forever wondering when the UK comedy "The IT Crowd" comes back on. the US may have the budget, but money cant buy you good comedy. American comedy just isnt as funny. :( - runep, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6http://www.pogdesign.co.uk/cat/ is pretty useful too.
- comradechimp, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Handy, although for goodness sake America, what's with your crazy date format? Least significant digit in the middle? Madness.
- InternetUser, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6Yep, don't get me wrong, I love the BBC and Channel 4 but they couldn't make something like "Lost" if their lives depended on it :)
- LordSkywalker, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5Yensed, Sadly, Seventh Heaven was renewed. I know, it sucks.

Tuesdays on the CW
3rd Season begins October 3rd at 9:00 PM - jasgeo, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3They wouldn't need to if it didn't take the UK 6 months to catch up!
On another note, anyone know why there are like 100 seasons of Simpsons, yet you'll only ever see about 4 of them on the telly here? - jcholewa, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3> humor (with or without the "u")
..."hmor"? - InternetUser, on 10/12/2007, -7/+10@MiddleGirth:
Being from the UK, I should be sick with rage but I actually agree with you. Some of your telly is waaaay beyond ours in terms of production values, budget, script, direction, even the fricking lighting .. pretty much everything.
/me imagines the BBC trying to make "24". - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Girth here, I was only kidding. Signed, Girth.
- drewc1138, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Lost on the 27th is just a recap episode. The new season starts Oct 4.
- comradechimp, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4@MiddleGirth don't worry, some of us realise that.
- TheSaladMan, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3The UK and the USA are good at different things.
The UK is good at:
Comedy like The IT Crowd and Extras
Sci-Fi like Doctor Who and Red Dwarf (Both of which are also comedy)
Whereas the USA are good at drama, programs like Lost and 24.
The main reason for this is that in the USA you like to drag shows out for like 23 episodes to make money, which works well for some shows which can take alot of filler but not the kind of shows made in the UK. - Cryobat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2That page was a little bit messy IMHO.
I use this page instead: http://pogdesign.co.uk/cat/
Complete with some nice Web 2.0 goodies! :) - tvolpe78, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Sigh, if only they had one for the UK...
- SelfAppointedMe, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Yeah i know it's just wishful thinking but I was really hoping to see Firefly on here.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Huff needs to come back. That show ruled.
- n0xie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I'd say it's more useful than the original link. Been using it for ages and I simply love it. (shows me when to get those shows from BItTorrent ;) )
- Protoss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2They haven't got syndication rights to all seasons, I don't think anyone has really, not even in the US. Go read the wikipedia entry for The Simpsons, explains where you can see which seasons in the UK.
- citydweller, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3PhaseDMA, I hesitate to call "Friends" comedy. I don't think I laughed once during the few episodes I watched.
- ahhell, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Holy crap. I got a lot of watching to do.
- nicko68, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2"The main reason for this is that in the USA you like to drag shows out for like 23 episodes to make money, which works well for some shows which can take alot of filler but not the kind of shows made in the UK."
I was really disappointed that The IT Crowd ended after only 6 episodes. - poipoipoi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1because there's only four GOOD seasons of The Simpsons. ;)
- thewaz, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1PEEP SHOW
- Protoss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Isn't that how its always been? I only started watching season before last, but don't they want to have a nice neat package of 24 episodes, rather than have it like LOST, having a premiere, then 2 weeks of reruns/recaps, then a new episode.
- poipoipoi, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1it's on because there's no shortage of idiots among America's vast TV-viewing population, i'd wager.
[american and proud of it, usually] - endgames, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What about bringing back "Who's Line is it Anyway?"
- KVargs, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2nip/tuck premiered last night (tuesday)
- austinrules, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I can't wait for Grey's to come back next week!! I am counting the days!! And now with such jam-packed Thursday night with Ugly Betty & Six Degrees it is going to be even better!!
- Protoss, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yeah I didn't really see any articles about it, thank god for Wikipedia. Apparently it's going to air right after [adult swim]'s contract expires, which is sometime in '08 I believe.
- sophiaperennis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I prefer to use http://tvrage.com
Has nice episode guides per season, or one list for all seasons combined for a show. - MMilitia, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's such a shame Arrested Development will not be returning any time soon. It was one of the finest comedy series in the last 5 years.
- pixelmixer, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Futurama was renewed by Comedy Central??? weird... I'm glad it came back, but I always liked the Fox allusions in the show. Wonder how itll do on Comedy Central.
- endgames, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1I applaud this effort, but I would have preferred a calendar format. I stopped paying attention after BSG.
digg - TrevorBradley, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What, no "Heroes"?
- TheBarge, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Well they didn't play enough Threshold for me to really like it as much as I liked Surface and Invasion. I thought Invasion was doing really well, it had a good plot, a great season finale. Then, the axe. Bastards.
- spectre_25gt, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1What, no "Bones"? I'll be pissed if that show got cancelled.
Whoops, it's back on already. Nevermind. - n0xie, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It starts 25th of September.
I saw the pilot at it looks like it's going to be an awesome show. - Krispy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1does anyone know if "Little Britain" is coming back?
- wilsonics, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Does anyone else share in my "Meh" for the 4400 maybe not coming back for a 4th season? They've really stunk up the acting/storyline. I liked the show when it was on for the first 2 seasons then *poof* gone! Now, it's like they have bad writing, directing, and it seems like the only good actor in the whole bunch is the little girl that plays Maya!
Sad.
Meh. - austinrules, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Did anyone else see that they are making a game based on the Family Guy show? My husband is like dying to get it...I may have to give in and buy it for him really soon!
