- CanIGetAWitness, on 05/18/2009, -7/+61As a day 1 viewer of Lost and Fringe, I have had the same thoughts towards the end of each season. I am really loving the whole Jacob and unknown guy thing; humanity always needs to be tested.

- inactive, on 05/18/2009, -2/+52You guys have it all wrong. He's a time traveller, and he's rubbing it in our faces.
To explain, J.J. Abrams makes a movie/show. It bombs. He then goes back in time, changes things during production, and it becomes wildly successful. If this doesn't work the first time, he just keeps doing it until it works.
You should have seen the original first season of Lost. Oh, man, talk about lame. - harrythe3rd, on 05/18/2009, -2/+52What was he trying to tell us in Felicity?
- paross2, on 05/18/2009, -5/+50"I am more unoriginal than you give me credit for."
~JJ - cogitocogito, on 05/18/2009, -3/+45Actually, SO FAR Lost hasn't gone the "parallel realities"/"changing the past" route (though obviously Faraday and the gang thought it could be done).
It's been jumping backward and forward a single timeline (like 12 Monkeys. or Bill & Ted's excellent adventure). I hope it stays that way. - ikillpeoplexx, on 05/18/2009, -0/+40Yo dawg i herd you liked tv so i put an episode in ur episode so you could watch while you watch
- gametavern, on 05/18/2009, -4/+42Wait, was the Cloverfield monster a time traveler? Honestly, he just enjoys telling those types of stories. Just like Bay likes to blow things up during chase scenes, and Spielberg likes to throw aliens in the mix.
- SteveIsTheDude, on 05/18/2009, -4/+39I am gonna go back in time and shake you when you were an infant!
- Bloodwine, on 05/18/2009, -20/+52So basically JJ Abrams is a one-trick time-travelling pony?
- sindex, on 05/18/2009, -1/+29Ille qui nos omnes servabit.
- oughterator, on 05/18/2009, -7/+33Shamalyan was called out because his movies started to suck. Abrams just keeps getting better.
- Bloodwine, on 05/18/2009, -1/+26If he went back in time and killed me as an infant, which would prevent me from making that post that motivated him to time travel, then would he ever time travel back to kill me, because the only outcome of the time travel would result in the elimination for the motivation to time travel and ... oh lord I've gone crosseyed.
- RandyTheFool, on 05/18/2009, -1/+24Sorry but, I don't use "Lost" as my "primer on the rules of Time Travel and what can, and can't be done by those sailing the silver seas of the chronoverse."... That's what Doctor Who is for!
- sindex, on 05/18/2009, -1/+24Lost is a truly fantastic show. But don't even attempt to watch it unless you start from season 1, episode 1. You will just be confused. Also, don't believe the people who say "all they do is bring up more questions and never answer anything." Those people are clearly not watching the show at all.
JJ Abrams mentioned in his Colbert interview that Lost was designed to build on itself and become far more complex over time, which it has done. Fringe is/was supposed to be easier to walk into sight unseen. Whereas Lost alienated some people by trojan-horsing a sci-fi show on what they thought was going to be a straightforward drama, Fringe started as a ball-to-the-wall sci-fi show, but it's far more episodic and allows for a smoother entry-point from almost any episode (although it's slowly building a bit of a history as well). - welestgw, on 05/18/2009, -2/+24Whatever happened, happened

- FruitFocker, on 05/18/2009, -2/+18What does this have to do with The Spocker?
- memper, on 05/18/2009, -1/+16If you really wanna blow your mind, try watching a television without a video input device installed!
- theodenking, on 05/18/2009, -0/+15morphinapg is right, Abrams deserves credit for creating Lost but he's never really been running the show:

http://www.pvponline.com/2009/05/14/and-the-rest/ - decx, on 05/18/2009, -3/+18in lost? i would say nearly 10.000
- rentmitchum, on 05/18/2009, -1/+15From the image on the submission I thought it was gonna be a Yo Dawg for some reason.. like "Yo dawg, I herd you like Spock and Star Trek, so we put an alternate universe Star Trek in yo Star Trek and 2 Spocks in your Star Trek so you can watch Star Trek and Spock while you watch Star Trek and Spock"
Then I clicked it and.. no.. The submission image has "Yo" on the top line with the "u" kinda cut off, I guess that's why I thought that. - kyle212, on 05/18/2009, -1/+14He's trying to tell us that "they're coming"
- gametavern, on 05/18/2009, -1/+14Ben and fake Locke. Lying *****.
- solid12345, on 05/18/2009, -38/+51Or maybe he is telling us he is a one trick pony who hasn't been called out like M. Night Shamalyan yet.
- seantubridy, on 05/18/2009, -1/+14JJ is just hoping that his next leap will be the leap home.
- gametavern, on 05/18/2009, -15/+27He's telling everyone that he's a GD genius, and one of the best producers of top quality stories ever.

- inactive, on 05/18/2009, -2/+14"one trick pony?" how many successes has he had now?
- ApokalypseNow, on 05/18/2009, -1/+12So let me get this straight... you're using the fact that everyone thinks you're crazy as validation for your *****?
- 9bpm9, on 05/18/2009, -5/+16So who isn't looking forward to the next season of Fringe? Peter ***** Bishop people, Peter ***** Bishop.
- gametavern, on 05/18/2009, -3/+14Seems someone already did it.
- viserov, on 05/18/2009, -0/+10Why did they put the Fringe light flares in Star Trek?
- darrellcskinner, on 05/18/2009, -0/+10the lens flare in Star Trek was overly done, I agree, but I think it was a directorial accent to give it a futuristic look.
- kylere, on 05/18/2009, -3/+13He is trying to tell us that continuity and plot management are work, and his way is easier.
