Trish Kate's TV Talk: Jericho Fandom: Heading for Disaster
trishkate.blogspot.com — Jericho fans have almost forgotten the basic camaraderie they once shared: Jericho. Infighting rears it's ugly head once again and this time it's a tug of war.

- LisiBee, on 04/02/2008, -1/+12Our fanbase is fractured already--it has been for a long time, since the first campaign. People are so entrenched in nurturing old hurts, they simply can't see the forest for the trees. We should be broadening our efforts, not trying to shout down everyone's idea just because it isn't our own. I would hope that we as fans (and as decent human beings) would be able to support a fellow fan who is working to get something done, even if we don't agree with it.
Do what you feel you can do to help, regardless of what it is. Every little bit counts. - Ichthus2, on 04/02/2008, -1/+12Thanks to Trish Kate for a dose of strong medicine. This should be required reading for every Jericho fan.
- mpbnice, on 04/02/2008, -1/+12Everybody acts like the Nuts campaign was all sweetness and light. If it had been, some of our leaders from before would do more speaking out. They learned last time that if you stick your neck out too far, somebody is going to try to cut it off.
- copywriteink, on 04/02/2008, -1/+12I might have written it, had I not been encouraged to write nothing. Well said.
- JerichoSam, on 04/02/2008, -1/+11Yes, we need to encourage each other's ideas and not argue over petty differences!
- kricka, on 04/03/2008, -1/+10Why anyone thinks that we can't do two things at once is beyond me! How silly is that? So much WORD to Trish on this subject.
- aircat, on 04/03/2008, -0/+11The line "like herding a bunch of cats" comes to mind. I would prefer to participate in a unified positive campaign to find a new home for JERICHO, but as long as people are individuals and not part of a hive mind, differences of opinion will arise as to how this will be best accomplished. I may not agree with every Ranger I've met on the boards, but I have tried respect their points of view. The prize is JERICHO; we should all remember that. (PV544)
- KW223, on 04/03/2008, -0/+9I was here for the first campaign and the same stuff happened then and turned off a lot of peaple. I was expecting it to happen this time as well. It just took a little longer because we were so devastated and in shock. We can't expect the CBS site to be up forever. Choose the rally point you feel most comfortable joining. Fighting to find Jericho a new home should be our first priority. If people would spend less time fighting with each other, they would have a lot more energy and time for fighting for Jericho.
- luv2dance, on 04/03/2008, -0/+5I joined CBS' Jericho forums the day after the initial cancellation in 2007. I am not a leader by nature so I go there to gather information, post a few things when I have something to add to a thread, and above all, to support finding a new home for Jericho. I stay away from the threads that get into the pitting of one idea against the other. Our goal, after all, is the same. We are all fans of Jericho and we would love to see the story continue.
- neptune7, on 04/03/2008, -0/+5I'm not sure what all the fuss is about, but I hope you guys settle your differences.
