- Dove, on 05/12/2009, -0/+1It probably wasn't that funny, but to watch my mom - a registered nurse - scramble for a pen and paper in order to write a letter to the company that made the toy, "The Meatwagon" (electric cars running on a figure-eight track that crash, hence the need for an ambulance, or meatwagon) was priceless. I was laughing so hard, I couldn't catch my breath long enough to be able to speak, to tell her it was a fake commercial. By the time a human hand grabbed a plastic doll body part (an arm, I think ... on fire) and shook it before callously tossing it into the back of the ambulance, I gave up hope telling her. I can't find that commercial anywhere, though ...

I (and two classmates) actually reenacted both ads in 1989 when I was in 6th grade for a public speaking assignment. I played the First Citywide guy. I got an A+ , though I think some of my classmates didn't get the humor.

- A black guy knocked on the door of a house and a white guy answered, telling him to go in the backyard because they were having a bbq. Turns out, it was a KKK party and the camera goes back to the black guy saying 'Gonna be there for a while? Grab a Sniggers.'
