So I will. 1) swingers of today-or "lifestyle" couples-are predominantly intelligent,attractive and selective 2) NOONE in the lifestyle tries to recruit couples. It is a very personal decision and should never be taken lightly. It takes a very strong relationship to do what we do. Besides-hehehe-there are PLENTY of us-no need to recruit. 3) the party described in the article makes me wonder what the WRITER looks like. Perhaps he was invited to that particular party because they thought he might "fit in" with the others at the party. Don't get me wrong; we are not shallow people and I do feel that personality plays a big part in compatibility, but I wouldn't invite someone to a party that I didn't think would blend. Especially a "vanilla". (that's what we call non-lifestyle people) SWINGTOWN may be an interesting and accurate series about swinging in the '70's but certainly is NOT an image of what is going on today in our world.

As both a swinging couple and as a couple that remembers the 70's (although we weren't swinging then), it is nice to see a dramatic series that features so many familiar characters and recognizable situations. We're already anxious to see where some of the the initial storylines will go.
