- MightyGiant, on 10/12/2007, -9/+162Yeah... easy mistake. The keys are right next to each other.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -2/+51The problem is that everything they talk about on old episodes will be obsolete.
"Seagate just announced a 20GB hard drive today. Wow, that's crazy!" - Scatropolis, on 10/12/2007, -4/+38yup
- LycoLoco, on 10/12/2007, -5/+26Yes.
- GeneralFailure0, on 10/12/2007, -0/+15I would think they'd have to be TV rips. You don't usually get some guy sitting in the back of your living room with a camcorder in his lap and a boom mic.
- Scatropolis, on 10/12/2007, -0/+12if you use uTorrent or Azureus you can select what you want to download when you load the torrent.
- kutcher506, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11You are a fine addition to my block list, I must say.
- slonkak, on 10/12/2007, -11/+21yes. please never visit Digg again.
- forgiste, on 10/12/2007, -1/+11Because you're a moron...Funny how you have no idea what Tech TV even is, kinda makes me think that you're not a real person.. hmm...
Tech TV is no longer in existence, which is why they have this archive of old episodes.
Get Bent. - nixfu, on 10/12/2007, -3/+13*sigh* if only ZDTV Lived On.....sadly back then not many people had the tech to save all that much of it...and most were still using dialup etc.
ZDTV > TechTV > poop on a stick > G4 - PDelahanty, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.
- Alphateam, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12Not to piss in anyone cheerios, but why do I want to watch OLD tech shows?
I mean this stuff changes every day,
Don't get me wrong I used to watch it all the time back in the day, but shows years old. Maybe a couple for nostalgia value, but not all those shows. - kingace, on 10/12/2007, -2/+10Not the sharpest tool in the shed, are you?
- hackajar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+7When will ZDTV "Live On"?
- Darmichar, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8I refuse to watch G4TV on principle alone.
They bought it, raped the shows that were there, and turned it into complete and utter crap.
Until the day I hear that Leo, Patrick, Kevin, Yoshi, et al. have returned, G4TV doesn't exist to me. - inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+745 Gigs. Should take only a few years. Hopefully someone will put this up on Newzbin.
- metalica77, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6wow a wopping 43gb file. This should be fun. This might just show the movie industry how us alleged pirates distribute our content and how it's the right way to do it.
- GnuTzu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6Aw come on guys.
It's only sad if he thinks G4 improved things. - Buddhist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5@alexmarar
I would think that they're TV Rips, considering movies are the ones that get cam versions 99% of the time. - greekgoat91, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5well simpsons has a ***** load of seeders, we'll have to see about this
- PDelahanty, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Oh wow! You're a G4 executive, aren't you? I didn't know they used Digg.
- kutcher506, on 10/12/2007, -2/+7Please stop spamming that link.
- GnuTzu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4Principles yes. Boycott G4 100%.
- AuntyBub, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4@PDelahanty
That's inconceivable - saegiru, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5If the sarcasm wasn't noticed in that comment, I feel for you.
- GnuTzu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I take that you mean that those are greater than signs and not arrows indicating sequence. Surely it was G4 that turned everything to crap.
- IamZed, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I got digital cable for TechTV, and canceled it when G4 ruined it. I hope they die.
- techtvforever, on 10/12/2007, -21/+25I was not trying to confuse people by the title. Sorry if I have pissed anyone off. The title should say "Tech TV Lives in us all... And on Torrent!"
- RandomGuySteve, on 10/12/2007, -9/+13Ah.. cheap trick trying to get frontpage and Diggs. Well congratulations, we're all sheep here.
You shall be rewarded. But me, no, I'm burying this as inaccurate. Someone's gotta be the *****. - tlenker, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5TechTV did work! Look at the fan base. G4 f'ed it up.
However, I was wrong on one point. Rev3 is close in there line-up of programming.
What's insane is G4 "knowing" they botched it and continuing with the same crap. - hackajar, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Kate lives on http://www.katebotello.com/
- nytsua, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3Tech TV may be gone but the idea sure isn't dead
- Sethwm2, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I think that it is something to watch to see how technology progresses and it is also a nice look back on what it was like those good years of Tech TV
- MrPerfect, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Thanks for shooting me down. I thought Tech TV was actually coming back.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4and how much did they pay you to say that??
- xstohlchrist, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3ZDTV (TechTV) does live on... at youtube. Just search for zdtvfan and ZDTVMultimedia. they even have some episodes when X-Play was called Extended Play. Remember that?! with what's her name... you know before Morgan Webb... eh... Kate Botello... yeah her! Hey their doing a remake of the game Spy Hunter too, Alright! :p
they even have a group dedicated to TechTV/TSS at: youtube.com/group/TSS - BOOFMAN, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4This is way old news. Most of the shows are from after the g4 takeover of techtv and there is precious little of the true old TechTV. This was posted months ago and is a waste of bandwidth.
- DerekDenton, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3By typing that question, the NSA will show mercy on you, dyvbond. All others in this thread will be apprehended within 24 hours. You are advised to keep your assets where they are, but to check in with all your friends and family to say farewell.
- Pilgrim, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I wouldn't mind downloading a lot of the mod/dark tip segments..and a couple full episodes for nostalgia.
- XBackstabberX, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3seed people seed!!!
- lunaismoon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2I really really miss the old screen savers. Twit was a good enough replacement when it was mostly screen savers people but as time went on and it lost that, it just makes me miss it again.
- SgtCrispy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+240+ gigs? me and my dsl faints...
- DerekDenton, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5Based on some of your other comments, you seem very homosexually obsessed. Best wishes in your ongoing struggle to contend with your packed-in urges. You aren't a minister, are you?
- seanhive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2lol poop on a stick.
i'm easily amused - techtvforever, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Bro you are right. I wish i could see some good old zdtv content. Some really good shows were killed when it turned into tech tv. Silicon Spin and Internet Tonight to name a couple. If anyone has tapes or anything make sure to contact the guy doing the torrent on http://www.sladinki007.net/index.php?showtopic=31903&st=20.
- XBackstabberX, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5they still make you?
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2It isn't that I didn't like Tech TV when it was on (I loved it when it was still airing) it's just that now, watching those shows really doesn't do anything for me besides show how technology has progressed and remind me of the good ol' days. I just wish the old hosts of Tech TV could come together and create content and send it to us via IPTV or something like that. They could still get so many advertisers to support themselves and I think everyone would love it. I know that most of them (including Kevin and Leo) host their own podcasts and things like that which is great but it would be cool if they could do things like they did back on TSS and Call For Help. They were amazing at the time, I just wish they could keep it going with today's modern technology and newest killer apps, etc. In the mean time, it's revision3 and TWiT content for me! Great find btw on the 46 GB of Tech TV shows. That's a real gem there. Wish the size could be a little smaller but takers shouldn't be choosers. Cheers!
- saegiru, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3I am just saying TechTV had its own niche. The programming on G4 currently would be more at home on Spike TV. I don't need two of the same channel, I really miss having a good tech oriented channel.
- Swampthing, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Unfortunately X-Play jumped the shark years ago... The decision to switch from a serious gaming review show to a silly "bash the intern" piece of crap full of "clever, witty" jokes was a disaster, in my opinion. Even the reviews, which used to be well-done, are full of cat jokes, Jack Thomson jokes, etc., just a bunch of useless *****. I really long for the days before it even became Extended Play, back when it was called Gamespot TV on ZDTV. Those shows were very good and still stand out as one of the shows that actually took gaming seriously. Would you ever recommend the current X-Play to any adults just getting into gaming? Hell no. They'd turn that ***** off in 5 minutes...
- eshiki, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Sorry, but the MPAA doesn't control TV... Just movies...
