just for those who missed the first 48 episodes. - Phyltre, on 10/12/2007, -2/+24(it's not a reality show.)

- manzk, on 10/12/2007, -3/+19You think lost is real?......(shakes head)
- chris9902, on 10/12/2007, -3/+18i'm still watching it because it's just getting started.... 48 f'ing episodes in
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+14OH NOES A SPOILER!
Actually there's no spoilers in this video. It just says the numbers are an equation that spells out the exact date of Armageddon. They (Dharma) figured out that if they can shift any element in the equation, they can nullify the date. A special virus was created that only makes certain genotypes sick, a genotype that 30% of humanity carries. So...reduce total population by 30% via the virus, shift the equation, boom, no Armageddon, no end of the world as we know it.
Why the people are on the island and why they're all connected remains a mystery (sorta). Who the 'others' are and what their motives are also remains unanswered. What the true purpose of the electromagnetic generator underground is, is still a question, and on and on and on.
It's still weird (if you've been keeping up) that if this was Dharma's true intention, saving the world and all that, then why have separate quarters for 'watchers' and have them logging everything the scientists are doing? What purpose would that serve?
Trust me, there's a ***** we don't know yet. They aren't about to snipe a new season by giving away big chunks of the plot in a little paste-video-clips-together campaign. It just served to answer some little questions and keep interest high until they start airing the new shows. Worked, didn't it? - gr8one, on 10/12/2007, -4/+17You forgot gun, steal, no guns, sex, guns again, death
- kirashira, on 10/12/2007, -3/+16Why do I watch Lost? Well its better than most ***** on tv...and some movies...coming out
- Protoss, on 10/12/2007, -3/+15Why aren't YOU watching LOST? It's much better than the latest sitcom from NBC, and is just a really innovative show.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -6/+16no, firefox, i dont want to upgrade right now
- spiffyfitz, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12Everyone knows that all shows that take place on a tropical island are reality shows.
/sarcasm - FcukDt7, on 10/12/2007, -1/+10"there are no more secrets"
What's with the statue? - runep, on 10/12/2007, -2/+11That was my impression at first too, I thought it was something like Survivor in slightly more dramatic settings, but one of my friends recommended it, I watched a few episodes and now I need my third season fix SO BAD.
- afeitarse, on 10/12/2007, -3/+12I'm sure that this video barely scratches the surface of the Lost mythos. It's just a taste for those who want to know a little side story.
- Aceanuu, on 10/12/2007, -6/+13I've watched LOST on DVDs so far, I started season one at the season 2 premeire, and I just bought season 2 DVD set last week, not many episodes left. I'm awaiting Season 3 almost religeously. Thanks for more info.
@ Dbug
Watch it and you'll find out. Because it is amazing. - nukethewhales, on 10/12/2007, -1/+8Ok so I guess you want specifics. I watch LOST because after a long day at school I want to sit in front of a radioactive box and vege(sp?) out. So I pick a show that is more gripping and thrilling than any movie released in the last few year.
That better for you?
EDIT: Oh yeah and you are an asshat. - chris9902, on 10/12/2007, -5/+9I was going to put those things but the're kind of a downer ;)
- chris9902, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4with those whingers it is.
- joebrodie, on 10/12/2007, -2/+5I... Can't... Watch...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_PPCCcXarkc&eurl= - DaveMode, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Does anyone else think that this series will end in a weak, anti-climatic, a la Matrix Revolutions way?
- TheFoo, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3From what I understand, this is the only way the numbers are going to be explained.
- timdorr, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3We're just entering into Act 4 of 4. The hansoexposed.com site and video were Act 3, Rachel Blake's blog and videos were Act 2, and thehansofoundation.org hacking was Act 1.
There's also a live DJ Dan podcast next weekend, which isn't really a hardcore part of the game, but it's always fun to listen: http://djdan.am/podcast.html - ericeman, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2This is not the end of the numbers. It is certainly an explanation of the Dharma Initiative's connection to the numbers but there is still the question as to whether or not they mean more and whether there appearance in flashbacks is 'fate.' This may or may not be explained or left up to interpretation in the end though.
Most people say this show might turn out to be anticlimatic but it's certainly not showing any signs of slowing down and there's no reason to think that by it's final season it will. I think the reason Alias went down the drain because J.J. wasn't as active near the end (this show has two creators, one who isn't doing much else than Lost) and even than, Alias didn't have as planned of a plot as Lost has. Lost already has a solid direction and ending so the creators have already ensured that their finale will be up to standard with the rest of the series. - bitemegates, on 10/12/2007, -3/+5What a collective bunch of absolute ***** with nothing better to do that criticize what another person does for entertainment. Do you not have any life outside this?
Grow up. - syd4111, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2@lakawak
It's really really cool to digg NOTHING but your own stories! Loser. - spliznork, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Seinfeld: hanging out, who ARE these people, rinse, repeat
Law and Order: crime, ding dong, investigation, ding dong, courtroom, justice
Battlestar Galactica: robots, humans, goofy mythology, love is the answer, space fights, love children
24: terrorists, I NEED ANSWERS, Jack is superman, whew that was close
etc... - krazytom, on 10/12/2007, -6/+7why'd I'd read this?! why am I at lostpedia.com?! someone stop me before I fid out too much
- MikeOSX, on 10/12/2007, -5/+6You think that was the only secret n the island?
- fucknut, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Exactly. Lost is destined to end the same way Alias did. Drivel piled on sky high until the blather becomes to incomprehensible that people stop watching and they must wrap it up somehow.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1These are all great comments and theories, this site has tons of information about the show http://www.lostreview.com
- solarisom, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Besides, mind the law of LOST: answers are always disproportionate to questions (it makes for exciting, although frustrating, drama). Given the magnitude of these answers (which still need a great deal of explanation), I can't even comprehend the mystery that will ensure in season 3.
- inactive, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1It's about the journey, not the destination.

Sex? A downer? - ramallama, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1
Now is this post about posting irony or sarcasm? Sigh, I always get those two confused. - rspeed, on 10/12/2007, -1/+1"I swear I've had electronics with less padding than this show."
Hey, half a season is only 1/4 of two seasons...
Okay, yeah, that is a lot. - V3suvius, on 10/12/2007, -4/+4Very cool. I'm sure that the game hasn't ended though. If this were all the information needed then they wouldn't have spliced the video.
- hostilefreak, on 10/12/2007, -2/+2We still dont know anything about the numbers. Suppose I have the numbers 4, 565 and 453467 and I tell you that they are the factors (wtf is a factor in an equation anyways) in my equation, which I call the Macaroni equation and it predicts exactly how stupid I will be in 10 years.
BTW, everytime you say out loud the numbers a new ipod killer is being released.
There has to be some more fundamental meaning. - eaustin12392, on 10/11/2007, -0/+0Where exactly are they? I think that maybe they're in the Bermuda Triangle or perhaps in Hell. How else would Ben have everyone's information? And who do you think Jacob is? What do you think?
- spliznork, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Really? Half of what LOST *is* is crossover into additional and alternative mediums.
- thatsiebguy, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1They probably get rescued and everything gets denied no matter what they all say.
- mc4_a, on 10/12/2007, -8/+6I hate this side stuff and I dislike the fact that I read it. They should reveal it on the show or not at all. The acting in these clips is just awful.
- aprocter, on 10/12/2007, -4/+2Pretty cool... I -kinda- wish I hadn't watched the video though so I could've been suprised. It'll be interesting to see how the writers get to this point in the story though..
- cmdrNacho, on 10/12/2007, -6/+3how did you find out how it ends.. tell me .. i wanna know how it ends too
- neoncricket, on 10/12/2007, -7/+3Also, you forgot:
We're friends, we're enemies, we're best friends because one of us almost died, we're enemies, and then we're friends again. - XnonX, on 10/12/2007, -4/+0Buried it. I dont want it to spoil the show for me :P
- chris9902, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3of course, how could I forget those essential story lines *rolls eyes*
I swear I've had electronics with less padding than this show. - vudicarus, on 10/12/2007, -20/+14Cool. Now I don't need to watch the show anymore and have to deal with asshat Jack.
- Knives, on 10/12/2007, -12/+2well, by that I meant that I watched the video, and there are no more secrets.
- peerk, on 10/12/2007, -15/+3I love how people justify watching Lost.
Johnny: "Why do you watch Lost?"
Leroy: "Well, it is better than the other crap on TV"
** Johnny shoots Leroy in the foot**
Leroy: "OH MY GOD THE PAIN! WHY THE HELL DID YOU DO THAT?!"
Johnny: "Well, it was better than shooting you in the head." -
