- goldenhearted, on 12/14/2007, -6/+177My favorite show in recent memory. Can't recall a tv show that made me feel this stoked whenever a new ep comes up.
- Ike0, on 12/14/2007, -3/+159I really hope the writer's strike doesn't mess up this season. And is that Charlie??!?
- eplawless, on 12/14/2007, -10/+113"Rescue arrives. Or has it?" stick to the same tense, jerks.
- adjustafresh, on 12/14/2007, -0/+86Just because they "kill someone off" on Lost, doesn't necessarily mean that the character still won't be an integral part of the flow. Jack's dad was dead before the pilot episode...
- phaseblue, on 12/14/2007, -2/+68Welcome to YouTube's most-often-paused video of the day.
- maino82, on 12/14/2007, -1/+64the writer's strike has obviously affected them more than we thought.
- SAOSiN, on 12/14/2007, -2/+54no! get back to work!
- Nudar, on 12/14/2007, -2/+50It's been so long since I've watched Lost, I had totally forgotten how the season ended but it's starting to come back to me. I don't know if I'll survive these long hiatuses between the next (and final) three seasons.

- objectnull, on 12/14/2007, -0/+36Slow motion version and screenshots.

- LimeParrot, on 12/14/2007, -0/+30What's with the giant cow? (around 23 seconds in).
- LimeParrot, on 12/14/2007, -1/+29Yes, but it doesn't necessarily mean he's alive. I mean look at Boone; he has heaps of non-flashback appearances after he died in season 1.
- moocow1452, on 12/14/2007, -0/+26They faced down Polar Bears, and Smoke Monsters, but they have never dealt with... KILLER FLYING SIXES!!!! *Psycho track*
- ahoyhoy, on 12/14/2007, -0/+26Or has it?
- SAOSiN, on 12/14/2007, -0/+24please, tell me more.
- holzp, on 12/14/2007, -1/+25Hurley?
- turbopro, on 12/14/2007, -1/+25Yes sir. Here's my stapler.
- Akraz, on 12/14/2007, -4/+27Yay!!!! Im excited =)

They're trying to ***** with you. It's kinda what they do. - thatcrazycommie, on 12/14/2007, -0/+18I don't think the show ever "jumped the shark," (though if they never get around to giving some sort of explanation for the monster I'll be pissed), but I agree that the cliffhangers get frustrating. I've found that it's better on DVD, when you can watch several episodes at once so it's not as much of a problem.
- tehnico, on 12/14/2007, -0/+186 was not one of the numbers.
- estacado, on 12/14/2007, -0/+17Plus Evangeline Lilly's engagement to the hobbit is off. Softens the blow of Jessica Alba being pregnant.
- tyywebb, on 12/14/2007, -2/+19Jump the Shark: a term to describe a moment when something that was once great has reached a point where it will now decline in quality and popularity.
The black smoke was present in the pilot episode.
QED - SolidSnake24, on 03/28/2008, -9/+26looks good, but i just hope they don't kill off Michael Emerson's character!!
- chedabob, on 12/14/2007, -0/+16Lost goes backwards and forwards in time, hence the tense change.
- goldenhearted, on 12/14/2007, -0/+14Holy *****... the wait is faster than I expected it to be.
- Laughto, on 12/14/2007, -0/+14A vision... or a flash forward?
- blackbeardtron, on 12/14/2007, -0/+13I was about to say the same thing. The monster was in the first episode. What a moron.
- GeekSwag, on 12/14/2007, -24/+37With all the crazy/nonsensical plot twists on this show, I don't think the writer's strike should affect it. Seriously though, they're on an island running away from polar bears, a killer fog machine, an electromagnetic force, and their dreams. Good times.
- Hickeroar, on 12/14/2007, -1/+13The smoke monster has been around since season one. Def not a "jump the shark" moment. Sounds to me like you haven't watched much of the show. The "smoke monster" actually played a pretty cool role at some points.
- Daiken, on 12/14/2007, -3/+15Charlie at 23 second mark. w00t!
- matthewaaron, on 12/14/2007, -0/+12Slow Motion Version: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9JEgc4nA-co&watch_r ...
- Laughto, on 12/14/2007, -0/+12Well if he is in a flashback that would mean he is in the fourth season.
- craftyshrew, on 12/14/2007, -2/+14Lost & Dexter FTW
- LowFuel, on 12/14/2007, -0/+12Flashback?
- creoderiot, on 12/14/2007, -7/+18Is that you Michael Emerson? I can't imagine anyone else not wanting your character to be killed.
- yabos, on 12/14/2007, -1/+12He's probably integrated into the island's consciousness now so he'll be popping up in people's visions.
- Crazymaniacc, on 12/14/2007, -1/+11sry for double post but I'm kinda confused now, look at the cap I made, he looks older and real.
http://img338.imageshack.us/img338/9459/charlierb1 ... - themarq, on 12/14/2007, -0/+9Hmm, looks like he's talking to Hurley in that screen cap, so that would mean it's probably not a flash back. However, that leather jacket looks pretty new and fancy, so it might just be a vision, Hurley's been known to have those on occasion.
- Bawk, on 12/14/2007, -1/+10Too late. Looks like since they're airing it, and still only have half the season written, it's going to suffer the same fate that Heroes did this season. I wouldn't be surprised if Charlie was back either considering how many times Patchy's kicked the bucket and is still around.
- endlessoul, on 12/14/2007, -0/+9Plus, he was in street clothes (sunglasses), not island survival clothes.
- zjvos, on 12/14/2007, -0/+9Lost is by far the best show on TV, but it must be watched from the beginning to completely understand and enjoy the experience.
I can understand how someone could watch a random episode and be completely lost and turned off by it. - libertao, on 12/14/2007, -0/+8From watching the slo-mo version, it seems like they're doing another 'Hurley hallucinates' episode?
- mywhitenoise, on 12/14/2007, -1/+9Thanks for that, I've been trying to pause it at the right time, but couldn't get it. That's definitely him.
- kgibby, on 12/14/2007, -0/+8a flash forward im guessing?
doesnt seem likely (because it really looked like charlie died last season) but he does indeed look older and that has to be hurley. and he has that deep, pensive look on his face, the same that jack had in the flash forward from the season 3 finale. - Vapor17, on 12/14/2007, -0/+8WE HAVE TO GO BACK!
- Petrarch1603, on 12/14/2007, -0/+8maybe it'll be like city slickers 2 and it'll turn out that charlie has a long lost twin brother
- dn11, on 12/14/2007, -0/+8uh, i'm pretty sure they are just trying to give you the release date of the show, not hint at some time distortion field
