- lordtyros, on 10/11/2007, -38/+202Best show on television. Period.
- redlantern64, on 10/11/2007, -21/+123@doctorfungi: Yeah, some of us aren't fair-weather fans who dropped the show because, Gods forbid, we weren't getting instant gratification in the form of answers to every single question the show posed. Rather, we're riding it out to see where it goes, and we're not being disappointed.
- SteveThePlank, on 10/11/2007, -14/+54Agreed. Dunno why people are digging you down >.<
Season 4 is going to be amazing. - kilna, on 10/11/2007, -4/+42This one includes more footage and appears to be better edited:

- kent1146, on 10/11/2007, -3/+34I wish the Digg comment section would somehow let me draw pictures in crayons, because that seems to be the only way that someone could communicate what is going on to you.
- theinternot, on 10/11/2007, -9/+38Well done!
- chesbomb, on 10/11/2007, -3/+2980% of the crash scenes are not in this video.
- Andicow, on 10/11/2007, -3/+24Agreed. After the finale, I can't even begin to guess where they will go next.
I love shows that make me think. - AndyVenus, on 10/11/2007, -4/+25It was nicely done. The only thing letting it down was the cutting between background music, which of course couldn't be helped.
- m3mn0n, on 10/11/2007, -1/+20Not only that, he/she didn't include the best clip... the one where you actually see the plane break in two...
I can't believe that's not there. - samk, on 10/11/2007, -3/+22Did Ethan crawl out of a dog house??
- staffell, on 10/11/2007, -12/+30100% agree
- Haasmosis, on 10/11/2007, -1/+18I missed Charlie in the bathroom trying to get his fix.
- m3mn0n, on 10/11/2007, -3/+14That's too advanced for Windows Movie Maker.
- peranadigital, on 10/11/2007, -5/+15You might want to try actually watching it. There wasn't much in the way of dragging things out in the last episodes of the third season, more like flat out action packed story telling with a snake in the letterbox to boot.
- Philoushka, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10So YOU'RE the idiot who gave Memento a bad review.
- davidlow, on 10/11/2007, -1/+10It at the exaxt moment the plane splits in two, it would have great to have a split screen view showing the view from inside the plane and the view from the ground.
- DPimp1262, on 10/11/2007, -7/+15I agree and to the people that were disappointed with what was going on in the middle of season 3 just know that they did it to try to answer the questions of the fans, which sadly backfired. The producers have already stated that they are sticking to exactly how they want the show to go from here on in.
- NicksVideo, on 10/11/2007, -8/+16The creators had four seasons planned to begin with, so no, it shouldn't have been a two season show.
However, the fact that it's turned into a six season show is a result of ABC 'dragging it out'. Episode wise, however, it'll be five seasons. - bytor4232, on 10/11/2007, -1/+8And to answer your question, no, it doesn't hold me over! 7 more months till season 4!!!
- dominiccarr, on 10/11/2007, -0/+5I love lost, can't wait for season 4 and i don't care what anyone says season 3 was brilliant.
- AstroZombie138, on 10/11/2007, -0/+4When does the next season come on?
- Davede70, on 10/11/2007, -3/+7Great job with this. Dugg for all the work put into it.
- thezettabytes, on 10/11/2007, -6/+10LMAO at your Prison Break example. How old are you ? 12?
- n8dawg87, on 10/11/2007, -8/+12news flash...not alot of people go through the video section
- Protoss, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Well the producers already said that they now have the storyline set out, and with a set amount of episodes (16 each season for 3 years) they are going to do straight question answering now, and start getting things rolling.
- scully8746, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3Yep, you should definitely start from the beginning, and just stick with it, even when it gets slow--and it does, several times, throughout the course of the show, but everyone who stuck with it got quite a payoff at the end of this latest season.
The show's appeal, IMO? It's something different than you're used to seeing on TV. It's a different kind of storytelling. A lot of the story is told through flashbacks, and as the plot progresses, it cuts back and forth between different groups of people on the island. And there's a really huge mystery surrounding the island, too: it's purpose/existence has never been completely explained, and there's weird stuff happening all the time. But it's exciting, and there's romance and action and adventure, and... blah, I could go on forever. It's a great show. It really sucks you in. - uptown, on 10/11/2007, -0/+3What's the deal with that big foot they sailed past that one time?
- mywhitenoise, on 10/11/2007, -2/+5^ that one is 10x better. Still a little choppy in some parts, but beats the hell out of the one submitted.
- derjames, on 10/11/2007, -1/+4
I have never seen LOST before... and recently I borrowed the DVDs from a very good friend... it turns out that was so addictive that I watched season 1 and 2 continuously... I didn't even sleep...
I haven't seen season 3 though... - SuperJason, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3It's one of most clever shows I've seen. If you like to be intrigued and try to figure out puzzles, you'll like it.
- aroundtown, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2This just made me realize that the wreckage that flies in at the beach seems to come from the wrong angle. It appears to fly directly towards the beach from out in open water area, with the engine or whatever and compartment piece landing on the sand, but in the end composite you see the smoke stream coming down from over the "cove" part on the island. We should be able to see that other section of the island in the "debris" shot .
I know this show has already been nitpicked to death and everyone probably already noticed, just thought I would mention that.
Nice video by the way, needs the shot of the others looking up as it splits though. - wannabenomad, on 10/11/2007, -10/+12Great video that belongs in the video section.
- NeoSporin, on 10/11/2007, -1/+3BSG, Heroes, Lost, Firefly, and the first 2 seasons on 24.
Lost did get to a point where there were quite a few questions (maybe a bit too many) being asked, but people love mystery. I sure do. - Spr0k3t, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2***********Season 4 spoilers********** (you've been warned)
Lost is a very intertwined ongoing plot that is hard to just sit down and watch out of the blue. You'll step in not knowing why things are happening as they do and what's so important about specific characters and how they react to one another. The island is not just one island... it's four. It all stems from research of a group (Hanso Foundation) dedicated to finding a way to extend life by altering the formula of the valezetti equation (4 8 15 16 23 42). Seasons 1, 2, & 3 are done on the islands everyone knows about, season 4 taps into the new islands yet to be revealed. The "good guys" about to rescue the survivors of Oceanic Air 314 are the Hanso Foundation, and they have succeeded in completing their research and use the island to control this "eden" they have created. Stuck in a loop in time, the numbers reset the island back exactly 108 minutes (total of the numbers). The show poses extremely strong questions that are often too profound to answer or lead to other questions in a spiraling mass of hysteria. Some of the characters who have left do come back closer to the 4th seasons end... I won't name those characters though. I've got quite a few answers to the questions posed by the show, but many of those answers pose new questions that I have yet to figure out.
Lost is the best mind game on TV. I've never experienced more "hair raising" events of trying to crack the Lost code than any other show out there. Oh yeah, if you've even seen Mission Impossible:3, watch the credits... you'll see a "special thanks" going out to the Hanso Foundation.
Good Luck, and nameste. - bytor4232, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4http://digg.com/tech_news/Lost-_Timer_Countdown_-_Egyptian_Hieroglyphics_Deciphered

Same idea, better inception. - virtualball, on 10/11/2007, -4/+6 dbr_onix, sorry if it seems like I'm being angry at you, but I just hate it when people say that *****. So what if Lost is slow, it slowly reveals details in a creative and logical way, I'm sorry that this whole plot could have actually been revealed in one day. If it were, it would be like every other show, filler. Lost makes you think and make up your own theories and then change those theories after every ***** episode, now name me a show that does that. Name me a show that makes tens of thousands of people jump online the MINUTE the show ends to discuss with others about it. Sopranos, no. Heroes, no. CSI, no. Lost, yes. It isn't filler because you don't stop thinking about it 15 minutes after it ends.
Also, name me another show that was renewed FOUR YEARS in advanced? Please answer that because I can tell you that Prison Break wasn't.
Also, Prison Break gives instant gratification. Basically, now don't take much offense to this, but if you like how there plots are laid out, you don't really want to think about it yourself, you just want it to be shocking, surprising, amazing each week without real care for what will come later. You want every detail given to you sooner, and more sequential. You obviously are the wrong person to be watching Lost.
Oh, and ONLY JACK WANTED TO GO BACK! Idiot. - kris33, on 10/11/2007, -4/+6and iMovie
- RazielX, on 10/11/2007, -2/+4@dbr_onix
It was only Jack that wanted to go back to the Island. Kate didn't want to. And also, J. J. Abrams was quoted as saying that he is planning to stop Lost at seasons 5 or 6. He said that Lost is "at the half way point."
You also don't need constant action and a fast pace storyline for a show to be good. - themastersb, on 10/11/2007, -0/+2Imagine things in Lost happened in order? How dull.
- kefs, on 10/11/2007, -5/+7@onix..
prison break lost me after season 1.. network originally said it would be a one season series, and the escape attempt (successful or not) would be the end.. instead.. the producers saw the show was a hit, and are still dragging it along..
want to talk about making up story lines? - Spr0k3t, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1I did this with season 1 & 2, watched the commentary, purchased books, found the valenzeti equation before it aired and deciphered the timeline as the ever encroaching "eden" we have yet to see in the 4th season (trust me, you thought you understood lost... you've not seen anything yet). However, I wish I would have waited to watch season 3 on DVD release. Season 3a sucked, but the later half of season 3 kicked some serious ass. Now I'm foaming at the mouth until Jan 2008.
- bubba9999, on 10/11/2007, -0/+1Because Desmond wasn't in the cave to push the button, the TRS-80 ran out of time and gpf'd and gave them the red egyptian bird. As time went by, the unhappy magnet made the ground shake more and more until it seemed like the island was experiencing an earthquake. The wonky magnetic fields made the airplane crash, then Desmond used turbo-asm to fix the trs-80 and make the magnet happy again.

http://jeniya.info - Zbrah, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3oh and I love how someone compared Lost to pulp fiction...I'd totally agree just because in each one there are little motifs and cultural tidbits that you only see after watching them 2 or 3 times. It brings more depth to the cinematic experience....so to speak...
- wiz0rian, on 10/11/2007, -2/+3That was well done, good work
