- bonlebon, on 05/02/2008, -2/+32He looks like a nice guy, all the best for him.
- UbIwerks, on 05/02/2008, -13/+2I sat in front of him and Lana Lang on a plane flight up to Vancouver. He's kind of a douche. It was a red eye and he kept yawning really loud exclaiming, "Geez, I can't believe how tired I am!" as if the whole cabin wanted to know. Then he'd like to kick my chair inbetween bloody marys.
But that's alright, I'm sure Lana Lang thought the back of my head was dead sexy. :)- AresDiggs, on 05/02/2008, -1/+29You do realize that Lana Lang is a character not a person... right?
- MtheoryX, on 05/02/2008, -0/+3Blasphemy!!

- matrixbandit, on 05/05/2008, -0/+1Thanks, that sure was some fun fan-fiction.

- Nick519, on 05/02/2008, -2/+9he was one of the main reasons that show was worthwhile back when it started. i just wish they would have done the superman reboot with the original cast from the show, instead of doing it with all new people. the movie was decent enough for a popcorn flick, but it would have been kick ass to see a big production with that cast.

- upick, on 05/02/2008, -0/+102won't be the same without him... he makes a good lex luthor
- RevJonathan, on 05/02/2008, -1/+18I remember one episode where he splits into a good and evil lex. That evil Lex performance was one of the best I've ever seen in any media. He's a great actor and while I doubt Smallville will be the same, he's clearly too high caliber for a CW show.
- hella81, on 05/02/2008, -1/+20"I am the villian of this story." -Probably my favorite line from Smallville.

- hella81, on 05/02/2008, -1/+20"I am the villian of this story." -Probably my favorite line from Smallville.
- zephyr42, on 05/02/2008, -1/+11He is clearly the best actor on the show. I never cared for it too much after season 2 or 3.... got too drama-ish.
- funkytaco, on 05/02/2008, -0/+7are you kidding? season 1 was horrid. it was just "meteor freaks". you can only take so much of the same idea. i mean come on, this is superman's story.
my regret is that superman still doesn't fly now that lex will be leaving.- dougmc, on 05/02/2008, -0/+5My guess is that he will fly on the last episode of the series.
They'll tease us with it until then, but it won't really happen until the very end.- antdude, on 05/02/2008, -2/+1But when is the last season? This show needs to end soon. Too late for this season. People are leaving! End it please!
- dougmc, on 05/02/2008, -0/+5My guess is that he will fly on the last episode of the series.
- funkytaco, on 05/02/2008, -0/+7are you kidding? season 1 was horrid. it was just "meteor freaks". you can only take so much of the same idea. i mean come on, this is superman's story.
- rpgmaker, on 05/02/2008, -4/+6The show has been sucking since season 4, I decided that I will stop watching it after I finished season 7 (which sucked big time), my favorite character leaving the series just confirm my decision.
- priegog, on 05/02/2008, -2/+7Agreed... Probably too good for this show. Don't get me wrong I used to LOVE this show, (recently stopped watching) but somewhere along seasons 4-5 they started making a consistent number of mistakes that turned into a sick joke for all superman fans (And well to all who say it was so from the beginning, I disagree. It had potential...). With the exception of John Glover, Michael was clearly the best actor (which isn't a lot to say in Smallville, but he genuinly is a great actor). And lastly... aside from the horrible. horrible writing and directing, Smallville has suffered from the very beggining the Star Wars syndrome: A possibly otherwise great production, but with actors who can't act to save their lives (Imagine my histerical laughing attack when I read Tom Welling was being considered for the Superman Returns movie). But hey, such is the showbiz... After Smallville dies (and with these news it should accelerate the process), hopefully the rights will be given to someone who gives a *****. Damn you Miles/Millar!
- rpgmaker, on 05/07/2008, -0/+1Couldn't have said it better myself.
- lukas88, on 05/02/2008, -3/+6I would attribute it more to the writing, but his character was kind of lame. First he is good, then he is bad, then he is slightly good and slightly bad, then he is all bad... Make up your minds. His character was involved in some pretty unoriginal plot twists.
I liked him best at the beginning of the show. His character was dynamic (both good and bad) but not in a cheesy way. His emotion and jealousy of clark kent was real and you could relate to it. But I guess when they realized that they could never end they show they decided they could use his character as the foundation for every lame plot twist imaginable.- funkytaco, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1agreed. he used to be likable, now his character is laughable.
- rpgmaker, on 05/07/2008, -0/+1Idiot. In the series Lex Luthor is the best developed character. The good/bad process that you described is showing how he slowly change to a really bad person.
- diggrnumber1, on 05/02/2008, -0/+3the real-life lex luthor:
http://www.fma.org/FMAOnline/AFP/mobius_bio.html- MtheoryX, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1Wow. Can't believe I've never heard of him.
- VitriolAndAngst, on 05/02/2008, -2/+1I've kind of been rooting for Lex. The angsty and whiney Clark Kent, could have kept Lex from becoming evil, if he just confided in him earlier on and told him the secret he has spent his whole life trying to find. Perhaps with honest friendship and not driving the guy crazy with lies would have helped. Perhaps not rubbing his nose in the fact that Lex's dad likes you better.
And yeah, as Lukas said above; there is no driving motive written into Lex's character. We don't know WHY it is so important he finds out why he lost his hair (he doesn't seem that shallow). He vacillates between Good and Evil about as much as Clark switches between being a deceitful prick and a deceitful super hero in need of help because another one of his friends needs Lex to bail them out. Why doesn't Lex just tell Clark to stay out of his mansion?
They've drug the plot arc on for too long. If they would just decide; "OK, we are changing from Smallville to Superman and Lex is now to become a super bad guy" and perhaps we finally get to his real motives,...
I think the writers need to watch Battlestar Galactica and notice how it differs from Smallville. In BSG, people are fighting for bigger causes and are dealing with real flaws and not such whiney, annoying people. Also, when someone blows up at Adama -- it has consequences. When someone blows up at Lex, I'm guessing another writer wrote the next story without even getting a note from the previous story and so any consequence is based upon the larger arc of the story -- not the preceding show. The plot should have a point and people's actions are driven by motives and that drives the story that is reaching a conclusion. OK, I understand that Smallville is about the characters, and throwing in a new show each day. But it pretends to have a story arc -- not just be a series of divorced episodes.

- unrealfan, on 05/02/2008, -1/+15i never really got into the show....anybody recommend watching this? i like the premise but was just never sure of how it got executed
- trackerbishop, on 05/02/2008, -27/+11if you have a vagina and like looking at bluejean wearing clark kent's chiseled face, then sure!
- MiamiRox, on 05/02/2008, -4/+15If you read the comics, then it won't really make sense. In fact even I didn't read the comics and there were still some things that had me like "what???".
- trackerbishop, on 05/02/2008, -26/+4stfu
- funkytaco, on 05/02/2008, -0/+3Their IT related jargon is about as good as CSI: miami's.... sigh... it's good for a laugh though.
- malechite, on 05/02/2008, -0/+30Ive been watchign since season one... if you dont start at season 1 you'll have no idea whats going on if you just watch random episodes here and there... but the show was Excellent up to season 5, then it started to have ups and downs... i still watch it every week though
- robdiggity, on 05/03/2008, -2/+1Please. It really wasn't ever excellent. It is a cross-over soap opera for teens, that mines material from an old and beloved Warner Brothers property.
But dear lord, from the story/dialog/character prospective it has never been able to stand on any real merits... my wife and I love to quote our favorite line from the episode where Clark has no powers (really?!? how novel! that has never happened before, or ever could again, right?!?!) and he needs to get across town.
Chloe dangles out her car keys to him and says, "Here! Take my Yaris!"
For me, that single line of dialog sums up the entire run of this show. But yeah, I can't stop watching it.
Oh, and Rosenbaum is an excellent actor and will be missed.
- robdiggity, on 05/03/2008, -2/+1Please. It really wasn't ever excellent. It is a cross-over soap opera for teens, that mines material from an old and beloved Warner Brothers property.
- H8erAid, on 05/02/2008, -3/+9I like the show, and I never really was a Superman fan, so I would say check it out for yourself. Wal Mart and Best Buy have all the seasons on sale for $19.99 each. Buy season 1 and see 4 yourself, U may just like it!
- fadetoone, on 05/02/2008, -0/+10I wasn't into it initially, but once I started watching I really enjoyed it. One of my good friend's was against watching it as well, until I forced him to watch my DVDs, and then he watched the first 4 seasons in about 2 weeks.
On the surface, it's a CW teen drama... but it's about SUPERMAN. I'd say the annoying aspect is the on again, off again relationship with Lana, but at least she's good looking.
Oh, and I might add, last night's new episode was one of my favorites out of the entire series.- michaelGregoire, on 05/02/2008, -7/+4She's not good looking and is a horrible actress. She's the absolute worst part of the series.
- 2shae, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1It's a great show.
But the way you have to see it is: Buy or download all the seasons or at least till season 3...start from season 1...and I swear you'll get addicted to the show and can't stop watching it. Watching 3-4 episodes a day can happen.
Two friends of mine borrowed the my Smallville dvd's and they were both addicted...one even watched an entire season in one day o_0, that's 22 episodes!!!!!
Watching only one episode a week is not the same.
- web2pointYo, on 05/02/2008, -8/+11I never watched it, but I assumed it was just Dawsons Creek but with superman...a superman who almost never did anything superpowery. sooooo....pretty much just Dawsons Creek.
- princedynamite, on 05/02/2008, -2/+6Your assumptions are wrong. You should try watching an episode. It's not bad.
- web2pointYo, on 05/02/2008, -1/+2I don't doubt its good. Its been on for a while so someone must be enjoying it. If you like it I'm happy for you.
My biggest problem is there is just too much stuff to watch/listen to these days. It's a wonderful age of entertainment!- robdiggity, on 05/04/2008, -0/+1No, you're right to doubt :) It really is insipidly, brain-bleedingly, shout at the screen bad. But it is nigh impossible to stop watching.
- web2pointYo, on 05/02/2008, -1/+2I don't doubt its good. Its been on for a while so someone must be enjoying it. If you like it I'm happy for you.

- SpencerMc, on 05/02/2008, -3/+13I watched the first 5 seasons or so 'cause my roommate had them on DVD. I know it's likely an unpopular opinion, but I found it to be kinda meh. Mediocre acting, a lot of superfluous teenage drama thrown in, and a lot of really forced references that just made me wince. i.e: the cameo appearances from Teenage Aquaman and Teenage Flash who just happened to have business which took them into Smallville (not sure about Green Arrow, I heard he was in season 6 but never watched it); or stuff like:
Teenage Aquaman: Maybe we should form some sort of Junior Lifeguard Association.
Clark Kent: I don't think the world is ready for the JLA.
Not to mention the fact that the first season and a half was the same story over and over again every episode. Someone develops some sort of trait or ability (for good or ill) as a result of being exposed to the kryptonite from the meteor shower, and Clark has to deal with them.
All that said, Lex Luthor was without a doubt the most well developed character on the show, and the actor that played him was damn good. It doesn't really surprise me that he's shoving off for greener pastures.
Just my take on it. I'm prepared to be buried and will take it with grace. - kinseyincanada, on 05/02/2008, -2/+7the new seasons are actually pretty good, they are darker and more in lin e in what the comics would be, it stopped being a teen drama.
- priegog, on 05/02/2008, -2/+2Are you kidding? Seasons 1-4/5 were pretty good and with a decent amount of drama, but since then all hell broke loose and nothing makes sense anymore... and the drama is at an all-time record.
- RevJonathan, on 05/02/2008, -0/+11You have to really struggle through some awful teen-soap moments, but in between those awkward facepalms you'll see some great TV. I recommend it.
- apackofmonkeys, on 05/02/2008, -2/+3Season 1 was okay, 2 and 3 were really good, 4 was so-so, 5 was TERRIBLE, 6 alternated between really good and really bad. I stopped watching now because there are more consistently good programs out there. If I had to watch the vampire sorority episode again, I might puke.
- priegog, on 05/02/2008, -0/+7The hotness made it bearable.
- RevJonathan, on 05/02/2008, -0/+4Your comment basically encompasses the entire series. With Lex gone, Clark and Jimmy will be the only dudes left. Lois, Chloe, Kara and a little bit of Lana (on mute).
Ma Kent was hot too. You all know its true.
- RevJonathan, on 05/02/2008, -0/+4Your comment basically encompasses the entire series. With Lex gone, Clark and Jimmy will be the only dudes left. Lois, Chloe, Kara and a little bit of Lana (on mute).
- ca1amity, on 05/04/2008, -0/+0Balanced out by that 'evil lana' episode (from season 1 or 2 I think).
You know the one - where she climbs out of the pool and tries to get some clark in her
- priegog, on 05/02/2008, -0/+7The hotness made it bearable.
- blechler, on 05/02/2008, -2/+5It jumped the shark in season 5.
- mike17032, on 05/02/2008, -0/+5It has its ups and downs.
Lex was by far the best part of the show. Gonna be damn hard to keep my interest without him around.
if you have a lot of free time to fill, its worth watching. Netflix is a great way to do it too. But I wouldnt make time for it if you have other ***** to do.
- scottie369, on 05/02/2008, -1/+23Father, you have no idea what I am capable of
- sevenalive, on 05/03/2008, -0/+2and thats why i deserve this raise.

- karaokekidd, on 05/02/2008, -0/+7Wait until he finds out how bad his hairline has gotten!
- TheInfamousOne, on 05/02/2008, -1/+40Rosenbaum played an awesome LL. Sad to see him leave the show, which isn't great, but a good watch for superman fans.
- hotsoda, on 05/02/2008, -9/+2"..but a good watch for superman fans."

- V3n0M, on 05/02/2008, -4/+2Some warning would have been nice - I refreshed the front-page and there it was. I missed a few episodes and I've been waiting for the season to come out on DVD - guess I know how it ends now...
- dvrchatter, on 05/02/2008, -1/+2Do you know how it ends? Lex Luthor can't really die, so how does it end? Enlighten us.
- V3n0M, on 05/02/2008, -4/+2Some warning would have been nice - I refreshed the front-page and there it was. I missed a few episodes and I've been waiting for the season to come out on DVD - guess I know how it ends now...
- aresef, on 05/02/2008, -5/+13He can grow back his hair now.
- Barclay1188, on 05/02/2008, -0/+14Well... that's "sucktacular"....
- grapfx, on 05/02/2008, -0/+11He's a good villain too. Has anyone else seen Kickin' It Old School, he was an evil Ryan Seacrest.
- paradox2222, on 05/02/2008, -22/+7Smallville is still on the air? After it turned into the superman version of power rangers I stopped watching it and I assumed everyone else did too.
- Synn, on 05/02/2008, -0/+7Well not everyone has a stick up their ass like you apparently do.
- RevJonathan, on 05/02/2008, -0/+4A superman power rangers sounds like an awesome show. Seriously that Pink Ranger was so hot.
- JakeyG14, on 05/02/2008, -0/+5Ahhhh Kimberly, times were simpler back then.
- papastout, on 05/02/2008, -1/+4...on to become the next Kojak!
- namelessXsilent, on 05/02/2008, -0/+24Sucks that he is leaving when they finally turned him into a really evil character, compared to the last seasons
- professorfurley, on 05/02/2008, -19/+23smallville is still on tv?
- Bender1012, on 05/02/2008, -0/+4Yes. I thought the show was gonna end after this season though, guess not. It'll just be really crippled without arguably its best actor.
- adml_shake, on 05/02/2008, -13/+16They are replacing him with DOOMSDAY?! What the hell?! Just end the damn show already!
- ericthegreat, on 05/02/2008, -0/+8I completely agree. This show is getting too long in the tooth and they need to plan an endgame. It is far too soon in Superman mythos to add Doomsday.
- bpeacock22, on 05/02/2008, -0/+3Agreed. For continuity sake (which they've been quite good at tying in the first two movies), Doomsday storyline is too early. However....Bryan Singer, are you PAYING ATTENTION!?!?!?!
- OJdidntdoIT, on 05/02/2008, -20/+13This proves digg.com is full of metro sexual highschoolers.
- RealmDown, on 05/02/2008, -0/+6That's better than asexual ones.
- OJdidntdoIT, on 05/02/2008, -3/+2no. its not.
- 2shae, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1Guess you've never seen the hot girls in the show.
Especially in the earlier seasons there were hot girls everywhere.
- RealmDown, on 05/02/2008, -0/+6That's better than asexual ones.
- blankman, on 05/02/2008, -3/+7He and the girl who plays Lana are gone/going, which basically destroys the story line of the past 7 years. I stopped watching it regularly the day they killed off Clark's father. It's just kind of sad to watch now.
- priegog, on 05/02/2008, -0/+2My problems with the show started a little earlier than that. But it was deffinitely a stupid move on their part. But hey, I hear he does an amazing sugar-daddy in nip/tuck.
- umdigger, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1Yeah, I like the show, but this season has been exceptionally terrible. The writers need to get back on track following the whole 'superman' part and get rid of this side story *****.
- GIACOMOSAN, on 05/02/2008, -3/+3After 7 seasons of being called 'baldy', he finally takes matters into his own hands.
- KaiSe7eN, on 05/02/2008, -29/+2Lex Luther is a Mr. Clean lookalike faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagggggggg
- charlietuna, on 05/02/2008, -3/+2Lets hope he does better than McLean Stevenson on MASH.
- dext3r, on 05/02/2008, -0/+2What is the link between Stevenson and Rosenbaum? I'm not following.
- web2pointYo, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1"Colonel Blake's plane was shot down over the Sea of Japan. It spun in -- there were no survivors."
- dext3r, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1I know that. Still doesn't explain the original posters comparison, unless maybe that they both left a show while it was still airing. I bet many actors do this though, so why the explicit comparison to Stevenson? Maybe I'm overthinking this whole thing. Let me get back to my drugs.
- basotl, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1Maybe because I can't remember Stevenson doing anything worth while after MASH.
And the OP is hoping Rosenbaum will do better.
- basotl, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1Maybe because I can't remember Stevenson doing anything worth while after MASH.

- Quick2822, on 05/02/2008, -3/+15I wish I still liked Smallville. I really did try. I love Superman but Smallville has been exactly the same for 7 years. They keep avoiding the Justice League, and I'm tired of the weekly meteorite freak.
- EnzanBlues, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1It was only like that through Season 3. In Season 4 the show finally received a plot other than the meteorite freak of the week. Granted the Season 4 plot wasn't the greatest and was pretty lame in some aspects, but since season 5 they have had an ongoing plot and it works, and is awesome. It's sad to see Lex gone, but with the news that they are bringing Doomsday in it could be very cool.
- dougmc, on 05/02/2008, -0/+3Um, if they were trying to avoid the Justice League, they failed. They even mentioned the name (tongue in cheek, of course) if I recall correctly.
At least they avoided the Legion of Super Heroes ...- EbowUK, on 05/06/2008, -0/+1Aquaman: "Hey, maybe we can form a group, maybe called the Junior Lifeguards of America?"
Clark: "You know, I don't think I'm ready for the JLA"
Fantastic in-joke, really. From the first episode with Aquaman.
- EbowUK, on 05/06/2008, -0/+1Aquaman: "Hey, maybe we can form a group, maybe called the Junior Lifeguards of America?"
- imbob, on 05/02/2008, -20/+2KEVIIN ROSE LIVES NEXT TO ME ^_^
no *****! - Alphateam, on 05/02/2008, -3/+7If it hasn't jumped the shark...it has now.
- bjs3171, on 05/02/2008, -4/+11WHOA. Was that shark back there?? Hell yes. We jumped right over that *****.
- malechite, on 05/02/2008, -0/+25I really wanted them to end the show before stuff like this happens... go out with a bang... make clark fly, decide to become superman, and put on the costume to end the show.
I just hope season 8 doesn't completely ruin everything.- ashmon, on 05/02/2008, -0/+5Yah, seasons 4-7 didn't ruin everything. In my book, as soon as the sexytime starts, the show is over. Not cuz I don't like sexytime myself, I just hate it because once that door is opened, that's all the show turns into from then on. Out goes the real story lines and in comes the "who's sleeping with whom" story lines till the show is canceled. It's mentally lazy of the writers to pander to the sexual side of things because they think that's what we want to see. The problem is that sex becomes the story, and we lose any modicum of respect or interest in the rest of the show.
I mean, who hasn't had sex before? errrr... wait, this is Digg after all.
Please disregard this post.- bgrah449, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1Superman couldn't have sex. He'd blow through the roof of her uterus like a shotgun. Unless he wore a kryptonite condom, but that of course would kill him.
- priegog, on 05/02/2008, -2/+4Are they gonna have an 8th season? I mean since S6 they've been on life support... They really should end it as soon as possible. And for once I won't feel dissapointed when a show ends (arrested development)
- algo, on 05/02/2008, -0/+3no flights no tights.
- malechite, on 05/02/2008, -1/+2the no flights rule has been lifted, he will fly soon... that was what they said when they first created the show.. doesn't mean that they cant end it with that. I mean, IMO thats how it has to end..him becoming superman. there is no other ending to smallville

- Miamisun, on 05/02/2008, -1/+16I think it is about time to turn clark into a full fledged superman already. Clark vs Doomsday for season 8 just will not work.
- urothane, on 05/02/2008, -0/+2I keep wondering why the hell he hasn't figured out how to fly yet. He knows he can, but either doesn't want to or is afraid of heights. You are right though, unless Doomsday is introduced to end the series altogether by killing Clark, then he better embrace his destiny before then.
- dougmc, on 05/02/2008, -0/+3Can't be too afraid of heights -- remember him riding a nuclear weapon up into the sky as he worked to disable it?
Of course, even Superboy could fly. But as far as this series goes, once he flies, he's all grown up, Superman. So that'll end the series, unless they decide to run with him being Superman for a while -- which seems unlikely.
- dougmc, on 05/02/2008, -0/+3Can't be too afraid of heights -- remember him riding a nuclear weapon up into the sky as he worked to disable it?
- priegog, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1Well, if we look at what they did with Zod and Brainiac (aka huge cliffhanger and an apparently invincible villain only to get solved within the first 10 minutes of the firt season chapter) I wouldn't be surprised
- darling, on 05/02/2008, -1/+1This female villain and "mutual attraction" sounds interesting. I'm thinking maybe Maxima or some such. And I'm thinking that would definitely work better. Doomsday makes no sense. Either way, with Lex gone, I don't know if I'll be watching anymore. That and the rampant commercialized scripts might just do it for me.

- glui2001, on 05/02/2008, -2/+4Smallville's been downhill for the last 2-3 years. I've stopped watching it since then. What's the storyline to explain his exit?
- thesonofdarwin, on 05/02/2008, -0/+3They can explain Lana's exit, because she dies anyway so just do it now. I'm not sure how they'd explain Lex's disappearance though.. there is no Superman without a Lex Luthor. Kristen and Michael's disappearance will likely kill the show which has been steadily getting better after they left the high school drama years which were definitely the worst.
- g30ph, on 05/02/2008, -1/+17The only interesting character is leaving the show. The other characters have no real depth, what you see is what you get.
The story has gone to ***** anyway, with Clark being told left and right that Lex is going to get this thing that will let him control Clark, and Clark can only think of Lana. I'm so sick of Lana Lang. I hope Lex teaches Clark a valuable lesson before he leaves, like get your ***** priorities straight!- EnzanBlues, on 05/02/2008, -0/+4Couldn't agree with you more. Lana is the most worthless character. TPTB should have killed her years ago. Well they did in the #100 episode then Clark just had to go back in time and rather have his father killed. When I saw that episode and she died it brought joy to my heart. Then when Jor 'El let Clark go back to stop it a little piece of me died inside.
- mywhitenoise, on 05/02/2008, -4/+2Are they still in high school? The show turned retarded when I found out they were Sophomore's when Lana's boyfriend went to the army while being underage.
- Zalyster, on 05/02/2008, -0/+3Whitney was older. And they're out of college.
- CYG101, on 05/02/2008, -0/+4Please use [spoiler] tags :(, oh well, now to see how they explain his departure.
- Miamisun, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1I figure if your coming into a thread solely based on the title that one of the lead characters is leaving the show than you should expect there to be spoilers in it.
- Vzylexy, on 05/02/2008, -0/+12Michael Rosenbaum portrayed one of the best versions of Lex Luthor on screen, the only one that comes close is John Shea on Lois & Clark.
- malechite, on 05/02/2008, -3/+1Hahaha, John shea's lex was the worst lex! he never did anything! He just sat in his tower and pined over lois lane
- mike17032, on 05/02/2008, -0/+3Agreed. He kept me watching the show during the first few seasons, and is by far the best Lex anywhere.
- coyote1284, on 05/02/2008, -2/+8I thought Spacey was a good Lex, too bad the movie sucked.
- dougmc, on 05/02/2008, -1/+4Spacey was good, but his character was crap(as was Lex in the original Superman movies.) Lex should not be a bumbling con-man -- a billionaire businessman genius is MUCH better.
- antdude, on 05/02/2008, -0/+2What about Gene Hackman? :)
- dougmc, on 05/02/2008, -1/+4Spacey was good, but his character was crap(as was Lex in the original Superman movies.) Lex should not be a bumbling con-man -- a billionaire businessman genius is MUCH better.
- priegog, on 05/02/2008, -0/+2I second on the K spacey thing. But MB was great, agreed.
- drmangrum, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1I thought it was in syndication already. Guess I should watch more TV.
- damndj, on 05/02/2008, -2/+7MR is way too good for Smallville.
- hamobu, on 05/02/2008, -0/+8How many shows featuring good looking people in high school did WB create?
- reqage, on 05/02/2008, -0/+8I sat next to him in a pizza/pub bar down next to WKU's campus. When word got out he was there, a ton of hot ass girls showed up wearing the skimpiest clothes that they could squeeze into. It was awesome. He'd be a good wingman for the bar scene.
- foofightrs777, on 05/02/2008, -1/+11Wait, no Kristen Kreuk either? She was pretty much the reason I watched that show when it first came out when back I was in HS.
- eddy2, on 05/02/2008, -1/+1That sucks..one less hottie to fap fap it to
http://celebritytrade.com/photo.aspx?cid=167&f=kri ... - antdude, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1Probably for movie and others: Street Fighter 2.
- ca1amity, on 05/04/2008, -0/+0*****' eh
- eddy2, on 05/02/2008, -1/+1That sucks..one less hottie to fap fap it to
- Tirial, on 05/02/2008, -7/+2Smallville is still on the air?
- BuryIt, on 05/02/2008, -1/+0I was surprised too.
- groonk, on 05/02/2008, -7/+2no if only the show would leave.
- txtphile, on 05/02/2008, -7/+3Smallville loses 51.2% of its homoeroticism. More at 11.
(In all seriousness Rosenbaum is a good actor and made a great Lex. I watched this show for the first few seasons, then came back this year after the writers' strike. They seem to be throwing every good idea they have left in the mix. Shame to lose Lana though. She has to be one of the prettiest girls on TV :(GC ) - tech9lab, on 05/02/2008, -6/+1they should bring Gene Hackman as LEX Luthor back
- mike17032, on 05/02/2008, -2/+5Well thats the end of that show for me.
- antdude, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1CW/WB will just keep milking it and the show will suck more.
- TDot1980, on 05/02/2008, -1/+1WROOOOOOOOOONG!
- eyegraphix, on 05/02/2008, -5/+2Seriously people? This reaches the front page?
- Slayerdude51982, on 05/02/2008, -0/+3I've seen a whole lot worse reach the front page, and this one I like so.
- mailbox01, on 05/02/2008, -4/+0After season 2-3, I stopped watching. It was bascially the same story....All these villians created from the metorite/crash and Clark and Lana romance...It was just the same week after week. He played a good Lex, but that got tiring too.
- irvin666, on 05/02/2008, -0/+6Lex Luthor is the ONLY reason I watch smallville. Michael plays a really good Lex.
- sstephenson, on 05/02/2008, -1/+4Watch him end up on Heroes...
- 2shae, on 05/02/2008, -4/+1Heroes is one of the lamest shows I've ever seen.
True, I watch it, but I almost fall asleep watching it.
The only good thing about that show is the hot blond (don't even know her name) - BradBrown, on 05/03/2008, -0/+1Watch him disappear for 5 years, then reappear on Dancing With The Stars.
- 2shae, on 05/02/2008, -4/+1Heroes is one of the lamest shows I've ever seen.
- JakeyG14, on 05/02/2008, -1/+9Lana, ChloƩ, Lois, random hotties, seriously is there any reason not to watch the show (aside from its slight crappiness)?
- tech9, on 05/02/2008, -0/+1agreed
- roarus, on 05/02/2008, -1/+3Slight crappiness? Which season are you at?
- JakeyG14, on 05/02/2008, -0/+2I don't really watch it religiously anymore, so I'm not on any season per se but I do watch it if it's on and the program synopsis sounds interesting. I think I stopped watching when Lana became a witch, whatever season that was, that was when I lost my "faith" in the show.
- 2shae, on 05/02/2008, -0/+2It was my main reason :)
- umdigger, on 05/03/2008, -1/+1I like the chicks, but seriously season 7 has sucked balls so bad that I can't even believe it's on tv still. Those writers deserve to be bitch slapped.
- cjacks9, on 05/02/2008, -2/+0Doomsday in Season 8? Get the fugg outta here.
Dugg, however, for giving me something to make my g.f. whine about. - ReptileKing234, on 05/02/2008, -7/+2I speak for the digg community: We don't care. Please stop wasting space with this.
- coyote1284, on 05/02/2008, -0/+2Doomsday!? Are you ***** serious!? ***** Doomsday!? WHY!? Smallville is dead to me, not for Rosenbaum's departure, but the ***** they're pulling because of it.
