- nobodysbaby, on 07/12/2008, -1/+26Most of the "target" age group are not viewing programs in their designated time slots! They are viewing time shifted programs or spending a great deal of time with Alternate Reality Gaming. It is the more mature viewers that are still viewing regular network programming. Studies show that the perceived "older" viewers are still spending money, not retiring early and are in much better shape than ever with every intention of staying that way!
Jericho has gone beyond just a great show for me. The spirit and determination of the Jericho townspeople has spilled over into our real lives. We have come together as a community to take a stand and say NO MORE, the humanitarian campaigns also mimic the spirit of the Jericho townspeople and I am very proud of this community!

The article was very well written and captivating. I look forward to seeing more articles like this. Hopefully, all efforts will come together to bring our beloved Jericho back for MANY more seasons. Jericho is such an inspiring show and has motivated many to reach out to people in need. So often networks are targeting the "young" crowd and leaving more mature viewers out in the cold. Jericho is a television series that brings people of all ages, from all walks of life together. Not many can say their entire family sits down to watch a television show together, but Jericho is one for the entire family. Again, thanks for the wonderful article and thanks to RP!
