(I had to copy that off the video.) - felchdonkey, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Ok, I feel like an idiot now. The "Loco Google" bit in the video should have tipped me off. If that didn't do it, the video where he tells you to boost your WiFi signal by wrapping an ethernet cable around a cell phone and suspending it over a salad bowl wrapped in tin foil should have.
Nice one, "Mark Erickson." Seriously. I know when to admit I've been had. Now that I watch the videos again, realizing that he's a comedian, the videos are pretty funny.
The hair alone should have been a giveaway. Damn. I guess I just wanted to believe.

- vanscott, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1I don't know about it being a hoax. Google has a funny approach to how they introduce new services. Remember the frenzy around gmail invites nearly 3 years ago? Plus that guy looked pretty credible in those khakis.
It wouldn't surprise me if google introduced Google OS next week the same day Vista goes on sale.
