Over the last say 6 or 8 months they have been creating more and more of these video interruptions at their HQ of popular people or worst of all, contributers that have been hired on because of their popularity. They talk very naturally within their pod casts, but on these HQ interruptions they talk very strange, clearly reading a script. They claim them to explanations of the upcoming videos, but really, who needs a 5 minute into to 5 minute pod cast?

Maybe because of what it replaced.. Current TV replaced the ONLY television based international news source that I had.. It replaced News World International, a news source from Canada featuring broadcasts (a few of which are on PBS) from Germany, Australia, Canada, England, Japan and other Euro countries..... along with their own 100% unique content..
I was horribly sad to see it go away, and replaced with something that is meant to be HIP and COOL and for young people.. pfft, I am a young person and I think current TV is heavy handed and trying way too hard to impress me..... Bring back an international news station.... PLEASE !!! - JuliusCaeser, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1News World International had the best coverage of the top stories happening both domestically and abroad. Its BBC style of reporting put EVERY American news outlet to shame. While I like Current TV I wish the Gore group had found another way to get it on air, other than taking away a great news station.

- osubuckly, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0I don't watch Current TV regularly, but it is a good thing to have on in the background while I do other things. Sometimes they have some interesting "pods" (like a trip to North Korea), other times it's a waste. But you usually don't have to wait too long for something different. Current TV is always a gamble. Sometimes it pays off though.
