- smacksaw, on 02/21/2008, -18/+382Serious question: What's the point?
Is there more of a story to this? Usually if people directly link to a picture it speaks for itself. I am finding myself confused, because if it's self-explanatory all I can say is "is that it?"
Why is this so "hidden"? What does Season 10 have to do with it? Why link directly to a picture without any sort of explanation? It seems as if people are going Digg down crazy in this thread, but I hope this comment survives long enough for someone to answer the questions about why this matters. - jwolcott, on 02/21/2008, -13/+302What a bunch of ***** comments.
- LittleJohnny, on 02/21/2008, -11/+247i was hoping for some hidden satanic messages
- yooftheness, on 02/21/2008, -10/+149i remember freeze framing my VCR for this *****
- waydee, on 02/21/2008, -1/+124I _think_ and I can't really be sure about this, but its "hidden" in the sense that those frames speed past so quickly its hard to get an idea of whats going on in them.
Or something. - aselbie, on 02/21/2008, -5/+75Heh, so who's more of a loser, the one looking through Simpson's DVDs frame by frame, or the guy wasting his time deriding him. (Or I suppose the guy calling out the aforementioned person (aka me (Or the guy using nested parenthesis for that matter)))
- themoose, on 02/21/2008, -2/+67Because it's cool and all.
- chuzwuzza, on 02/21/2008, -0/+62And season 10 has nothing to do with anything, besides pointless bragging on the part of the submitter
- GeekyGerge, on 02/21/2008, -5/+62Come on now, You're on Digg. We're all losers.
- wrathchilde, on 02/21/2008, -2/+53You have to look at it backwards
- Frost9999, on 02/21/2008, -2/+50Instead of posting that over and over why don't you go donate money to the EFF or something?
- Myonosken, on 02/21/2008, -2/+48It is shown for about half a second, so you only ever really grasp about two heads when it flies by.
- aydub, on 02/21/2008, -0/+45I'm pretty sure Bleeding Gums Murphy is still in the opening credits and he's been dead since I was in elementary school.
- and303, on 02/21/2008, -3/+42No no you're supposed to watch that quick panorama while listening to Pink Floyd's "Dark Side of the Moon" sped up into 600 milliseconds. Dumb ass.
- CravenTwain, on 02/21/2008, -8/+46Brilliant! I always wondered who the folks were speeding past... Which season is this from? I notice that Maude Flanders is there... and she's been "dead" a while now. Also, how about doing one of the folks that Bart skateboards by?
- SpaceMonkeyZero, on 02/21/2008, -2/+39The Goggles. They do NOTHING!
- TheDiceMan, on 02/21/2008, -2/+34What's this "Hidden" Scene? :-s
- aaronm67, on 02/21/2008, -1/+30YVA NEHT NIOJ
- FlyCO, on 02/21/2008, -2/+30oh God.. look at Patty and Selma
- macabaret, on 02/21/2008, -0/+26Which two popular Simpsons characters died last season?
If you said Bleeding Gums Murphy and Dr. Marvin Monroe, you're wrong. They were never popular. - baseball4113, on 02/21/2008, -5/+29Why try to insult a guy who owns one of the most iconic television shows of all time, if not arguably the most?
Just because you couldn't get your mother to pay for em doesn't mean you have to make others suffer. - Abomonog, on 02/21/2008, -6/+28Whereas I never bash a story for making the front page, I must join the ever growing crowd of people saying WTF over this one. Interesting panorama but really not very worthy of the front page.
TheDiceMan: It's not a hidden scene. It's an outdoor panorama of Bart's skateboard ride in the opening credits. It's kind of a credit to the creators that they have been able to create such continuity in the opening credits. Still not notable enough for front page though. - Thater, on 02/21/2008, -0/+22I got a Simpson's Magazine like 10 years ago which had this scene as a fold out. It's long gone though, cool to see it reproduced here.
- john2kx, on 02/21/2008, -0/+19You must be new here.
- goldenratiophi, on 02/21/2008, -2/+20it's not funny when you do it.
- Myonosken, on 02/21/2008, -1/+18Because millions have seen this intro and wondered what the ***** is show in that brief second.
- inactive, on 02/21/2008, -0/+17season one
- deanjarvis, on 02/21/2008, -6/+22This is really worth 20 comments.
- zantos420, on 02/21/2008, -12/+28i am a huge fan of the simpsons and this is slightly interesting but it's lame and it's buried.
- Cloudime, on 02/21/2008, -0/+15Those "fans" are actually just regular Diggers that didn't like your comment. Don't flatter yourself.
- stonedthot, on 02/21/2008, -1/+16True but what do you expect from such an underwhelming picture
- barc0de, on 02/21/2008, -0/+15He's not dead, he was just very ill.
- bunk3rk1ng, on 02/21/2008, -5/+20Dugg just to piss off everyone that keeps asking, "Why is this so important?".
- inactive, on 02/21/2008, -0/+14having a hard time at university?
- MrCobaltBlue, on 02/21/2008, -1/+14And Dr. Marvin Monroe.
- Calcularius, on 02/21/2008, -0/+13I'll give you a stool sample on Thursday.
- moush, on 02/21/2008, -0/+12Yours is much better since it offers some unique input.
- ostracize, on 02/21/2008, -2/+14NRA4EVR
- smoger, on 02/21/2008, -2/+14Black Smithers would have made this an instant digg
- Fritzed, on 02/21/2008, -0/+11Usually I hate the people pointing out grammatical and spelling errors, but what the hell?
- ColorBlind, on 02/21/2008, -1/+11caaaaandy baaaaars
- TwiztOG43, on 02/21/2008, -1/+11yeah, but for some reason the simpsons have gone to crap now with all the cheap jokes.
- estvir, on 02/21/2008, -4/+14Because people Dugg it up.
I know, I hardly believe it myself. - inactive, on 02/21/2008, -0/+10i used to record the simpsons too. they put in jokes for people who do that....a few made fun of you for doing it.
- nohitter151, on 02/21/2008, -5/+14What this is all about:
http://kidicarus222.blogspot.com/2008/02/simpsons- ... - dhughes, on 02/21/2008, -1/+10More like:
UNEX NIOJ - RealmDown, on 02/21/2008, -1/+10Dugg for parenthetically using nested comments correctly when commenting on nested comments.
- fantasmacanino, on 02/21/2008, -1/+10There are some. The one I most clearly remember is on an episode on season 9 in which Homer coaches Bart and other kids football. Two of the kids on the team were Rod and Todd, Flanders' kids and their football jerseys were 66 and 6 respectively.
- razrielle, on 02/21/2008, -1/+10and the snozberries taste like snozberries
- JT114881, on 02/21/2008, -2/+10The word 'loser' sprang to mind as soon as i saw your comment.
