- NeoCortex, on 10/12/2007, -3/+73The episode was great, except for Mohinder.
Mohnider, you ***** idiot. Use some common sense, please. You're a professor for crying out loud.
The next time Sylar is knocked unconsious, I want Hiro to come running into the room, look at Monhinder, and say:
"It's a trick. Get an axe." - themarq, on 10/12/2007, -3/+41Why didn't Mohinder kill Sylar when he was knocked out?
This was absolutely maddening, Peter was dead, what was the rush?
Also, did Mohinder take Peter's dead body to his Mom's house in a cab? WTF, I know NYC cabbies are jaded....but a dead body? - doctorcaligari, on 10/12/2007, -3/+36That ending made me wonder if the present Hiro is hurting the future more than he is helping, maybe by creating alternate realities. Did anyone notice that the "timeline" was more like a web? In any event, future Hiro does not seem like a happy person.
- jewdiknight, on 10/12/2007, -4/+32Did anyone else feel like Linderman got his .07% plan from the ending of "Watchmen"? That he believes that it will take a tragic event to make the world better.
- DesolataX, on 10/12/2007, -8/+35That was an awesome episode! Can't wait to see what happens with the two Hiro's!
- Peacedog, on 10/12/2007, -2/+27@Neo
I'm with you. I screamed at the television "Kill that sonofabitch while he's knocked out!". Of course he had time to lug the dead body of Peter out of his apartment, but no time to shoot Sylar. That kind of stuff drives me crazy. - AlexShrugged, on 10/12/2007, -3/+28Why did they have to kill off Mr. Isaac, while Niki/Jessica lives on to bore me another week?
- falstaff, on 10/12/2007, -7/+30Not being able to maintain your attention span for Lost (some 60+ episodes in and still more loose threads than resolutions), I can understand. Beginning to give up on Heroes (after what, 19?) with the promise of basically complete resolution on this "volume" over the next 4 weeks....that's just pathetic.
- Scott.Lyles, on 10/12/2007, -2/+25Mohinder could have driven the cab. He was a cab driver, with a Phd. :)
- murrolems, on 10/12/2007, -2/+20Done forget he had time to pull the hard drive out of the computer. Idiot...
- eatmorgnome, on 10/12/2007, -0/+16And it's also made very clear that there was an older generation of heroes.
- thekms, on 10/12/2007, -5/+19I'm hooked on this show, more than I was with 24 (back when I didn't see everything coming)
NBC has a great show on their hands, best thing since Scrubs. They better not let this one slip up. - UberC, on 10/12/2007, -3/+17When I was watching heroes last night, 5 minutes into the show my retarded, local nbc affiliate had a stupid thunder storm warning that took up 1/3 of the screen and also made it non-HD for the rest of the broadcast. How stupid are those warnings? I'm inside WATCHING TV! I am obviously not in danger from a thunder storm!
Sorry, needed to vent. - EtherGnat, on 10/12/2007, -0/+11Every single topic on Digg COULD be discussed somewhere else. Every story on Digg isn't going to interest every person. Stop being such an ass, and remove television from your topics if it doesn't interest you.
- TenebrousX, on 10/12/2007, -2/+13Good thing it's not on Fox, then it would be canceled for sure.
- Miso117, on 10/12/2007, -4/+15Read the comic on the site posted recently. I believe that unless Claire is truly safe and not available for Sylar to take the future will remain the same. Hiro says he stabbed him right before he blew up, but regenerated because he killed Claire. Originally Sylar kills Claire at homecoming... She lives, but is in NYC right now, where Sylar can still get her. Either way, we'll have to wait and see!
- fuzzmeister, on 10/12/2007, -2/+12Only the good die young?
- srodolff, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9Ok, Riddle me this Batman.
When Peter goes invisible.....
1. Why the hell does he have his back to Sylar???
2. Why doesn't Peter have the ability to stop the glass??? (Hint, it's the same power that threw Sylar across the room.)
With the fervor that this series has garnered, why the heck don't the writers deal with these simple issues?
And I also agree with the "Don't ever kill the unconscious guy." formula sucks. And Mohindar has done it TWICE!?!?! - sikosmurf, on 10/12/2007, -0/+9More important: Sylar has super hearing. He should have been able to hear peter breathing...
- Battleman, on 10/12/2007, -1/+9I loved it - but had to turn a blind eye to the fight scene between Sylar and Peter... people have wondered why Siresh didn't kill Sylar when he had the chance? I'm wondering why Peter turned invisible and then proceeded to walk two steps and turn around? Didn't he see the glass all hovering at head level? Duck *****! Use one of your other powers to fling him against the wall or something.
The were both hurt/killed way too easily. Sort of makes their awesome powers a little less impressive?! - tdogg241, on 10/12/2007, -2/+9Mohinder had gotten a job as a cab driver when he first arrived in NYC. It was most likely his cab.
- borchard76, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10Good episode, although it was a bit obvious peter was not dead.
IT was also a bit obvious what was happening when Micah got recruited by Linderman.
It was cool how they sprang Parkman and HRG.
Hiro? Well now that was interesting, but it could be a problem.
I like the show, but don't go thinking about it too much. Take it for what it is--entertainment. If you aren't entertained, oh well. - doctorcaligari, on 10/12/2007, -3/+10Thanks! Here is the link if anyone else wants to read it: http://www.nbc.com/Heroes/novels/index.shtml?novel=30
- doctorcaligari, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7I guess they are pretty stupid...I mean, I don't want to know about high winds, trees falling on roads or houses, golf-ball size hail pelting my brand new car. Whenever the thunderstorm warnings interrupt TV, I usually go talk on a corded landline phone while soaking in the bath tub, or go outside to practice my golf swing.
- shosterman, on 10/12/2007, -3/+9Ok so more than a month I waited anxiously for the great Peter / Sylar battle that would take place. The scene starts and I sit up in my chair, waiting to see what would happen! The tension mounts and Sylar starts cutting into Peter's skull! "Oh noes!" Suddenly he stops, Peter heals himself and throws Sylar across the room now wide eyed and alert. "Hell yeah, it's on now!"
Peter turns invisible!......That's it? I waited six weeks for that *****?! - Gregero, on 10/12/2007, -6/+12Thank you Captain Obvious... "It has a kind of Alternate future feeling"
- Jrr6415sun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+6"Maybe because Mohinder isn't a murderer like Sylar?"
Which is why he tried to shoot him last epsidoe but failed because Sylar stopped the bullet?
Oh I see.. since Sylar tried to kill him, he gave up on being a murderer.. that makes sense? - Yondelldude, on 10/12/2007, -1/+7Has anyone thought about what Isaac said? He said "I finally get to be a hero." I think what he's referring to is some vital piece of information he's hidden in either the last issue of 9th Wonders or the sketchbook he gave to the messenger. Think about it, if the secret to killing Sylar "accidentally" found its way into the last issue of 9th Wonders one of the heroes would definitely get a hand on it and fulfill Isaac's prophecy
- mhanley, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6I thought it was an isotope, not a chip.
- Jrr6415sun, on 10/12/2007, -0/+5http://www.nbc.com/heroes
- LemonHerb, on 10/12/2007, -8/+13And people complain nothing happens on Lost? I thought something was going to get resolved on that episode, I was dissapointed.
- allywilson, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4You know, I actually thought that "future" Hiro wasn't speaking to "past" Hiro, but maybe looking at "past" Ando e.g. Ando does something (how unbelievable I don't know) to destroy their friendship.
- Daiken, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4The Sylar part was really disappointing. Not only was the fight between Peter and Sylar short, but Mohinder didn't have the brains to kill Sylar even though he manged to lug Peter out, and destroy his computer.
- Fafnir43, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Flamage coming right up. No, the brushes weren't in Mendez's arms and legs any more. Did you not notice that Sylar was *painting*? Do you really think it would be at all out of character for him to take the brushes from the arms and legs of the man he just killed and paint with them? As for Suresh, give me a break. Yes, a couple of hours ago, he was prepared to shoot Sylar. That was *before* he was pinned to the ceiling and left to bleed to death, then watched another person die (or so he thought) for his own mistake. Forgive him for not thinking clearly. He's a genetics researcher, not a fricking action hero. Stupid, yes. Implausible, no.
- jewdiknight, on 10/12/2007, -2/+6Linderman is bankrolling Primatech.
- Jrr6415sun, on 10/12/2007, -1/+5"That ending made me wonder if the present Hiro is hurting the future more than he is helping, maybe by creating alternate realities. Did anyone notice that the "timeline" was more like a web? In any event, future Hiro does not seem like a happy person."
check out the webcomic on nbc.com, Hiro says that he's been trying to save the world for 5 years, but everytime he tries to change something the world keeps blowing up.. Each string is him going back in time to try to fix something...he's confused :/
Hiro says he stabbed him right before he blew up, but regenerated because he killed Claire. That's why he had to save the cheerleader - Peacedog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4I believe what uberc is trying to say is that the local weather stations (ANY local weather stations) appear to have such a hardon for getting their faces on screen that (as in my case) even when they have weather well outside their broadcast range they will paste an overlay that takes up 25% of the screen and be sure to interrupt scheduled broadcasting whenever the slightest possiblity the outer outer fringes might accidently slip into your county.
This of course brings on the ten minutes of blathering and playing around with the "Super HD Blu-Ray RIAA Doppler 2010".
Believe me, I live in an area famous for tornados and we can tell the difference between a serious storm report and weathermen falling all over themselves to report strange cloud formations to scare us into watching their channel. - Autrix, on 10/12/2007, -0/+4This guys super power is the inability to spell check.
- potentato, on 10/12/2007, -3/+6Maybe because Mohinder isn't a murderer like Sylar?
- Jrr6415sun, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4wow, you take digg too seriously, 1 person dugg you down and you flip a *****.. anger issues? make that 2 people digging you down.
- bgramer1, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Why not go to http://www.heroesrevealed.com
- everfalling, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4does anyone else think that grandma petrelli might be precognant like isaac? she said something to the effect that she's known what is supposed to happen long before the brothers, and we haven't directly figured out what powers she has.
- JohnM5, on 10/12/2007, -1/+4Its also possible she knew what was coming because her husband and linderman were good friends(The comics say they were together in the war). She may still talk with linderman. I do think she has a power, but I think its something else.
- jsg7, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3I'm not sure if she can see the *future* or just see things that others can't. But it would explain Peter's dreams and visions if he absorbed her powers.
- psbpv3o, on 10/12/2007, -0/+3exactly. I was pissed about how peter died, but it was even worse how sylar got knocked out so easily AND THEN mohinder didn't ***** kill him. Infuriating.
I know this is suppose to be realistic than a comic book, but it isn't. It seems like it takes place in an alternate universe where everyone is retarded... - Aruna, on 10/12/2007, -1/+3Did you also notice that this time around, Isaac died a different way than before? In the first couple of episodes, Isaac was frozen and his head was cut open. In this timeline, Isaac dies while lying on the floor. The future badass Hiro is trying to fix the timeline.
- potterboy, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Same, eastern PA by any chance?
- Timmmm, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2No ***** Sherlock.
- Peacedog, on 10/12/2007, -0/+2Does it have something to do with cuckoo clocks?
- mtalon, on 10/12/2007, -0/+21) Mohinder just got pinned to the ceiling, then watched Sylar try to can-open Peter. Peter heals, TK's Sylar. Mo drops to the floor (8 foot drop at least), then sees Peter turn Invis only to get "killed" by Sylar's TK glass attack. At this point, any normal person (not Chuck Norris or Jack Bauer) would probably not be thinking too straight. Mo himself said it, he's a scientist not a superhero.
2) Mo saw Peter exhibit multiple abilities, and he knew Sylar could too. There was no way he could have known when Sylar was going to get up, or what he would do when he did. He probably watched a few horror movies in his day and knew better than to taunt the bad guy when he's down. Best to hedge bets, destroy the list, and get the heck out of dodge.
3) He also probably didn't know that Sylar needs a living brain to steal powers from. Why leave Peter's body there if there's a chance Sylar could get up and use it? Grab and go time.
Not a big plothole, really...just one that needed further explanation. -
