But, in crazy world, you can just say whatever you want and when someone asks you what you mean, you can accuse them of trying to distort your meaning. But, in science and engineering, if you believe something stupid, bridges fall down, cars fail to run and things explode. Pundits are much more dangerous because people don't grasp the concept of meaningless ideas causing destruction and pain.

We are all American. I know when you think America you think cherry pie, baseball, and a white cheerleader. But American is everything that happens on this soil. A black man being chased by the cops is an American thing. Ghetto youth rappin in staircases and hallways is American as you can get. Hispanics celebrating with chicken mole, singing and getting drunk is American. Interracial children is pure America. The hate spewed from the KKK is pure red white and blue.
America is not just white people, county music, cowboys and NASCAR. America culture is white culture, it is black culture, it is hispanic culture, is it everyone and what customs they bring. And I suppose Glenn Beck simply believes that America culture=white culture. When people are more accepting of what it really is.

Granted, this is a woman who had no problem putting the inside of her colon on television, but her questions are not all that tough. "So, what were you talking about?" It sounds like the final question on Stoner Jeopardy. The definition of a hard interview isn't set in stone, it's a bell curve based on what is currently available. Sure, she's harder than what they're used to, but when all your interviews sound like the SNL sketch "The Chris Farley Show" any question can be difficult.
"You remember that time, when you said, 'Barack Obama has a deep-seeded hatred for white culture'?"

The problem is that no one is asking actual questions. If you're unable to answer a simple question to elaborate on something you said, then you weren't saying anything in the first place. All you were doing is making noise and inciting nonexistent controversy.
The reason Katie Couric is being considered a hard interviewer is because the conservative right won't get anywhere near someone who asks the real questions. *Every time Glenn Beck is on TV he has that look on his face; you know, the "I may have raped and murdered a young girl 19 years ago" look....everyone knows what that look means, c'mon...
Obviously friends, it is time to ask Mr.Beck some very tough questions about his possible raping and murdering activities involving young girls back in in the day.
