Family Guy Writers Report Back To Work!
variety.com — Production has finally begun on the sixth season of Fox's animated smash "Family Guy," 2 ½ months after the show's writers were told not to report to work. Work was halted on "Family Guy" last fall as talks between producer 20th Century Fox TV and series creator Seth MacFarlane on an overall deal had reached an impasse.

--- wait, no it isn't, it's a poorly written joke that just makes stupid and random cultural references with shoddily drawn cartoons. It's a Family Guy episode! Family Guy sucks! - itchye, on 10/12/2007, -99/+1http://www.myspace.com/911falseflagop

Digg me down, If you agree with me - otatop, on 10/12/2007, -19/+9itchye, shut the ***** up. And it doesn't really matter what the family members think. It's not like because someone they know died in the event, they know more about it. Go spam somewhere else.
- masamunecyrus, on 10/12/2007, -7/+18@itchye: If you're going to spam your nonsense blog, the least you could have done is refrain MySpace, of all things, to host your damned conspiracy theories.

http://www.popularmechanics.com/technology/military_law/1227842.html - simpleid, on 10/12/2007, -14/+9I don't know why people watch Family Guy, it's pretty ***** style of humor. Let the burying begin.

I used to kinda feel sorry for you when people would bury your comments for seemingly no reason, but you're really something of a dick, aren't you? Now please take your seat next to itchye in my blockfile. - phatvolvo, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8wait a second...
you're not a nice jew at all! - KyleGoetz, on 10/12/2007, -7/+2@gaijin: You're blocking someone who expresses an opposing opinion concerning a freaking cartoon? Congratulations, you fail at life.
- 9enisP, on 10/12/2007, -3/+7Completely random, off topic, and cultural jokes... Thats what makes them funny. Its just a style of humor. Yeah, its stupid, but that the goddamn point! I laugh until I cry, because its just so friggin random. You never see the jokes coming. Of course you expect randomness, but you can never predict the next joke. Not everything has to have a underlying meaning, intelligent notion, or even relative punchline to be funny. Love it or hate it, just quit bitching.
- daza, on 10/12/2007, -1/+2Have I missed something but.. the direct link is about an "endangered manatee [that] was rescued in Corpus Christi Bay, Texas, where they are rarely spotted."
That's almost as random as Family Guy itself..!

- dunezone, on 10/12/2007, -4/+9Were they discussing cutting down on those flashbacks that seem to have increased every season.
- Lumiras, on 10/12/2007, -1/+27no, they're actually proposing that flashbacks will go into other flashbacks that will lead into another flashback that leads back to the original flashback that leads into a flashback that leads into another flashback that leads into the first one...
Astrophysicists are pretty sure that Family Guy will cause the universe to spiral in on itself

- HolyCrapYo, on 10/12/2007, -5/+26I hope the manatee's have a fresh set of idea balls for this season.
- Shilov, on 10/12/2007, -11/+6I can see that South Park is where you get your idea balls from.

- darkspire, on 10/12/2007, -8/+3Apparently no one here actually watches family guy or they would understand this reference.
- shodanx, on 10/12/2007, -1/+6no it's just that they did that joke 3 times and that was two time too many
- Steek, on 10/12/2007, -19/+2Family guy is a good show. South park fans need to get off their high horse and stop thinking your better then people because you don't watch family guy.
- Elranzer, on 10/12/2007, -5/+19Most South Park fans *do* watch Family Guy, also. Most adult cartoon fans don't limit themselves to just one show. At least, I hope not.
- shodanx, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1yeah, there's not enough good stuff on tv to be picky
- Elranzer, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4Season 6? Last I checked they were unsure if the second half of Season 4 was actually Season 5 or not. The DVD collections are further confused.
- ad0beaddict, on 10/12/2007, -10/+4@anicejew you commented twice with in 6 minutes on the same story. Whats your problem? You must really hate southpark.."stupid Jew!"
- abid786, on 10/12/2007, -2/+4He tends to comment in 'upcoming' stories and get buried....its his thing...
- GawtMilk, on 10/12/2007, -9/+8"Peter, please pass the salad"

"What'chu talkin' 'bout, Willis?"
AH! I see what the writers did there. Fun-e. - itsHef, on 10/12/2007, -12/+6What do you mean "work"? Family Guy's writing is lamer than that time I went to get Fruit Loops when I recorded Saddam Hussein's execution.
Hehehe heh heeh!
Christ. - Insolence, on 10/12/2007, -4/+11Great, now I can continue not laughing at any of their "new" material.
- SelfAbortion, on 10/12/2007, -7/+9Why the hell do people take the time out of their day to comment on a show that they say they hate instead of skipping to something that has some kind of importance to them???
Wow, you figured out that Family Guy has certain joke formulas (probably because you had to have South Park tell you). Congratulations. So does all TV. If you can't laugh at the absurdity of Family Guy then most contemporary adult-cartoon humor probably goes over your head. (in before "or below my feet")- simpleid, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8"Why the hell do people take the time out of their day to comment on a show that they say they hate instead of skipping to something that has some kind of importance to them???"
Because we can?
Isn't that the point of a comment system. To comment. Because you can?
You obviously have opinions to express, wtf are you doing commenting? Idiot! - GawtMilk, on 10/12/2007, -5/+8"Probably because you had to have south park tell you".
You got me there. Thanks to South Park's long, formal thesis paper on the common comic motifs used in many situations in Family Guy's accurate, insightful political and social commentary, I understand all the in-depth fart jokes and references to Hollywood's washed up "C" list, regardless of whether or not they make me feel like someone is popping my testes with a pair of pliars.
- simpleid, on 10/12/2007, -4/+8"Why the hell do people take the time out of their day to comment on a show that they say they hate instead of skipping to something that has some kind of importance to them???"
- ericeman, on 10/12/2007, -4/+3Honestly, I don't love the show... but I often find myself laughing hysterically at clips posted on YouTube. I think it would do them good to make a show following the Robot Chicken format. This way they wouldn't have to worry about me not caring about characters and plots and could focus on providing the laughter.
- masterofNone, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1smash?
- DocMalk, on 10/12/2007, -3/+1Freakin' sweet!
- maccs, on 10/12/2007, -0/+1Yey new episodes about time
- Sundarsu, on 10/12/2007, -0/+0Sounds like they almost got FOXed, again.
Atleast FOX told them not to come back this time. - eminem213486, on 10/12/2007, -2/+1what you guys dont seem to get is that family guy reminds us of pop culture and a time when ***** wasnt as bad as it is now with the FCC and the war going on. it gives grownups a chance to escape (while tokin on some good ***** hehe) and younger audiences a taste of what tv used to be like. Family guy has gone as far as southpark in some aspects of pop culture and it wont go away anytime soon.
family guy and southpark for life. because idiots dont seem to get the meaning behind episodes. - inblinksDOTcom, on 10/12/2007, -1/+0Watch family guy online:
