- ClarkBender, on 02/26/2009, -11/+134The show may be a bit out of its prime, but it still makes me happy...
- ahoyhoy, on 02/26/2009, -3/+73Boourns.
- MrLeo1984, on 02/26/2009, -1/+54Rest assured that I was on the Internet within minutes, registering my disgust throughout the world.
- ivansusanin, on 02/26/2009, -5/+51*****, ever since the simpsons became a melting pot of celebrity voices, blatant ads for american companies, and cinematically colored and shaded...it's just not the same anymore.
here's to back in the day: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3bitxD1H52c - Denominator88, on 02/26/2009, -10/+51"Oooooo, they have the Internet on computers now."
-Home Simpson - Cheddar79, on 02/26/2009, -0/+40Are you saying Boo or Boourns?
- bigfatphony19, on 02/26/2009, -12/+51Well I'll gladly continue watching it forever
- ZincSaucier, on 02/26/2009, -21/+55the sooner they end it the better. i say this because i love the simpsons
- TenaciousG86, on 02/26/2009, -0/+34Wonder if they can squeeze out 7 more episodes and make it to 500
- xsecretfiles, on 02/26/2009, -5/+36Why is everyone all like.."OMG The show is boring" "Hasn't been good in years "
Yet most of you dugg up the newest HD trailer like.... a week ago??? - inactive, on 02/26/2009, -0/+30I was saying boourns :(
- mythicflux, on 02/26/2009, -0/+28"You know, rather than risk competing with you I'm simply going to buy you out... buy him out boys!"
- Bill Gates - awtripp, on 02/26/2009, -1/+26Uh no, to quote Homer "In this house we obey the laws of thermodynamics!"
- jazino, on 02/26/2009, -2/+27Yeah because they can't quit on their own.
Why would any artist/creator want to intentionally make their show bad to get canceled when the it will end up being a television legend? Seems this could tarnish their reputation which I am sure is important to anyone who has created a show with a 20+ year run. - zosoleary, on 02/26/2009, -14/+37damnit. the writers and groening are intentionally trying to make these latter seasons bad so it won't be renewed. they are tired of it and it is just bringing the whole of it down. what they are wanting to do is have simpsons cancelled so they can move on to their new project called "tales of springfield" which focuses on everyone else (like a different family/character each episode). yes, the simpson family will still be in it, just as cameos
- Nickolassc, on 02/26/2009, -7/+30Sigh, fox canceled futurama, arrested development, and king of the hill, but keeps the simpsons. Why do I even bother watching t.v.?
Simpsons hasn't been good since what? Season 8?
My favorite episodes are:
Stone Cutters
MonoRail
Flaming Moes
The baseball ringers - PizzaEagle, on 02/26/2009, -11/+33Maybe the Simpsons can donate some of their airtime to Arrested Development
- tizzleG, on 02/26/2009, -1/+21Yeah, the show with 22 seasons is going to hold the elevator for the show with 3 seasons.
COME ON! - peestandingup, on 02/26/2009, -7/+27That's an understatement.
Watch seasons 3-10 or so & then watch any of the new episodes from the last few years. They almost make me wanna cry. It's not that they're absolutely terrible, just really REALLY terrible in comparison.
Hell, I'll make it easy for ya'll:
http://wtso.net/ - NoCalSF, on 02/26/2009, -0/+19I believe you meant "Exxxcellent".
- imronburgundy83, on 02/26/2009, -1/+17State your sources. I want them in MLA format on my desk by 5:00 pm today.
- mclaughlind, on 02/26/2009, -6/+22Family Guy is written by manatees. South Park FTW
- whatthefu, on 02/26/2009, -0/+15Most of the newer ones are just tired and overdone. However, the Simpsons started right around the time I was born. What if that's the only thing keeping me alive?
- mandarin, on 02/26/2009, -0/+15I wish they do the same for FUTURAMA
- Anim8tor, on 02/26/2009, -0/+15That's an interesting detail.
- FullMetalNIN, on 02/26/2009, -28/+43Just let the show die, it has become terrible!
- mythicflux, on 02/26/2009, -3/+18Hey Lois, you know this reminds of the time I was a cheesecake.
- bokononrock, on 02/26/2009, -0/+13What, you didn't think I got this rich writing a bunch of checks, did you?
- Igrift, on 02/26/2009, -1/+14 I agree with that statement. I just want to make a point that we've been watching this show for 20years +. We change, our personalities change, as do those of the creator/writers. So its really hard for anything to stay the same including ourselves for 20+years.
Do you dress, look or act the same as you did 2 decades ago? I
I guess my point doesn’t really make up for the fact that indeed the show isn't the same, it just attempts to justify it :) - tonytroz, on 02/26/2009, -0/+13Ever see the Wacky Deli episode of Rocko's Modern Life?
- inactive, on 02/26/2009, -3/+15I am consistently amazed at the fanboy's need to destroy what he loves. Perhaps if any of them had ever created anything, their self loathing could manifest in a healthier way. So sad for all of you. Here's an idea... have your mom pick you up some crayons or something. Draw a picture, then figure out how you can make your next one better. Then draw another one and try to make it better. I think you'll be less sad.
... and maybe less fat with fewer pimples. - hamobu, on 02/26/2009, -12/+24I am not to crazy about Simpson since they abandoned logic, reason, and laws of physics.
- flamesrule, on 02/26/2009, -10/+22King of the Hill deserved it. Propane, Bobby isn't quite right, Hank's urethra, Peggy's annoying as hell, we get it, it's been the same stupid episode over and over. You can say the same about a lot of shows but man, King of the Hill was pathetic.
- andytronic, on 03/25/2009, -0/+12Best comment ever.
- RobotBuddha, on 02/26/2009, -0/+12God, those celebrity episodes are almost always terrible. And this is coming from someone who actually likes some of the new episodes. But the hamfisted way they jam celebs in, and their usual inability to allow any actual joke to be made at their expense makes them horrid. Tony Hawks buisness card does a loop, because that's what he does, HAHAHAHA *sigh*
- maddog66, on 02/26/2009, -11/+22why?
- FlippityFlipz, on 02/26/2009, -0/+11Hello, my name is Mr.....Snrub. Yes, that'll do
- FlippityFlipz, on 02/26/2009, -0/+11The baseball one is called "Homer at Bat"
True or False: You can get mono from riding the monorail - Nickolassc, on 02/26/2009, -2/+12I know, but I was hoping they would kill Peggy off before it was canceled.
- inactive, on 02/26/2009, -0/+10False...no wait..True!
- Gotar, on 02/26/2009, -2/+12The Simpsons will still be running new seasons on Implanted HoloNet™ v3.4, when I die at age 92.
- FlippityFlipz, on 02/26/2009, -0/+9Yeah son, I'm the best mono-thingy guy there ever was
- Mutt76, on 02/26/2009, -1/+10Considering those quotes came from about 13-14 years ago, he might have a point
- OPR8R, on 02/26/2009, -0/+9"Where's the any key?"
-Homer - FlippityFlipz, on 02/26/2009, -1/+10Homer: The sum of the square roots of any two sides of an isosceles triangle is equal to the square root of the remaining side
Guy: That's a right triangle, you idiot!
Homer: D'oh! - imronburgundy83, on 02/26/2009, -4/+12Why can't they both exist? Both are hilarious.
- POOPYpoo, on 02/26/2009, -0/+8your right, two and a half men and according to jim are WAY better
- BizGirl1, on 02/26/2009, -4/+12I'm impressed by the longevity but haven't seen a single episode in years. I'd like to know the demographic of the viewers.
- Alli3388, on 02/26/2009, -1/+9I think this show has to be put out of its misery.
Also, 22 years??? Makes a 32 year old feel like an old fogie. I remember the first season like it was yesterday! Ugh! - Falldog, on 02/26/2009, -0/+7FOX doesn't give a ***** either way, as long as the ad revenue keeps coming in http://imgdump.info/img-imgdump-laughing-homer-oct ...
