I certainly hope there will be more of the series to come. It's definitely "appointment television" in my book! I have to have my weekly dose of T:SCC, that's for sure. Lena Headey Rocks! And Shirley Manson as Catherine Weaver is wickedly cool too!

Solid, solid show. There are no others to compare. Whether you're watching for the Lena, the Glau, or the Robots - you can't go wrong. Plus, it's an insanely smart show. Personally, I torrented the show and then bought season 1 on BRD from Amazon. Will buy season 2 as well when it's released. Great show.

Like an earlier comment, I haven't been this excited about a show since I was 12 (for me it was 'The Greatest American Hero' )
Of course I think we're all going to bite it when robots or A.I. actually does take over the world, so it's kind of an educational show for me too.

SAVE IT!! WATCH THE SEASON FINALE OF "TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES" LIVE ON FOX THIS FRIDAY NIGHT!! (if you can of course) If not, then try Hulu, iTunes, FOXonDemand, etc. - TwwIX, on 04/10/2009, -0/+6Weaver is clearly part of the Terminator uprising and building her own version of a self aware super computer to take down SkyNet. The T-1000's are not cyborgs/robots but non-organic organisms that can't simply be programmed like their single minded, solid counterparts.
Just like SkyNet, they probably became self aware and retaliated against their creator.
Unlike SkyNet, "The Brother" who fears and hates humanity. John Henry is beginning to understand and experience compassion, love and why life is sacred through his friendship with Samantha and Ellison. He definitely cares for Samantha, as we've seen in this latest episode. He even lied to Weaver for Samantha's well being. I wouldn't be surprised if he sacrificed himself to save her as well as others. Props to Garret Dillahunt. I loved both of his characters on Deadwood. That said, it's really a shame that it took them so long to pump out these last few good episodes. They should have kept the unnecessary side plots and obnoxious characters (Jessie and Riley) to a minimum or at least gotten better actors to play those parts.
As much i like the show, i don't expect this to be renewed for another season.
Killing off 4 supporting characters in such a short time is a sign of trouble. It's not exactly doing well ratings wise and you know how Fox is with these kind of shows. The timing isn't exactly good either. With the new movie coming out, this is more likely to get canned to reduce the confusion it may cause with the movie's plot line and characters. After all, the average movie goer can't even spell let alone comprehend the possibility of other time lines existing.

Other than that... and as a Garbage fan, I have to say that it was a HUGE shock to find out that Shirley Manson was going to be in this show. She plays a very interesting character, and I'm glad she's doing well ^_^. I wasn't too fond of the idea that she would be even MORE popular, because I know some of us Garbage fans are a bit selfish when it comes to her. Things like how Cameron plays her part, how they deal with action and special effects, and what the main focus of the show is. There have been a few slow episodes, but overall, the show, the characters, and the story arc is fantastic.

It still had lapses where I feel that an episode is too predictable or goes corny just to stick to the old Arnie-one-liner shtick. Overall, it's been pretty strong this season. But to start pointing out strengths and weaknesses is to start divulging spoilers.
But it's okay that we have differing opinions :) - fracktica, on 04/10/2009, -1/+5I hope you're talking about the old Battlestar with the chimp robotic dog thing... because the BSG reboot - despite her being more "out there" the last 1.5 seasons - was really fantastic. And the terminator story line has enough overlap with BSG that you'd think an interest in one would translate well to the other.
