- Kevinok, on 01/27/2009, -0/+12I liked that episode.
- inactive, on 01/28/2009, -1/+10crypto-socialist BBC? Are you David Icke? Or just in need of a decent education?
- souldawg, on 01/26/2009, -1/+9Interesting how they can reconcile a rewrite of a crashed doubledecker with those images. Sad that these are DT's last episodes.
- terrapurus, on 01/28/2009, -1/+9You do realise you are trying to trash the longest running sci fi show in history on a social marketing site? I think when hell freezes over you will get some positive diggs.
- Dumbledorito, on 01/28/2009, -0/+7Yes, it was a closed set that saved money, but it was a nice callback to the old "cold war paranoia" episodes from "The Twilight Zone." And Tennant did a great job with the repeating scene.
- Resch17, on 01/28/2009, -2/+9When I read the title, I assumed that he had wrecked his new phone booth.
- Dumbledorito, on 01/28/2009, -1/+8I wonder, if the footage isn't usable, if this will be a "lost episode," like Tom Baker's "Shada?"
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shada - AeriumWatcher, on 01/28/2009, -1/+7Obviously the people who are digging you down. Although not a bad pun considering.
- Tgizzard, on 01/28/2009, -1/+6Why are the ads and pop-ups on my screen saying "Bad Wolf"?
- MiNGLED, on 01/28/2009, -1/+4So that wasn't David Tennant getting great reviews for playing Hamlet then?
- warriorscot, on 01/28/2009, -0/+3And she gets to ditch the totally wrong sounding American accent. Its not that she is bad at the accent it just didn't suit her. Hopefully she will be the new assistant.
- dickinsop, on 01/28/2009, -0/+2The new Doctor had better have phrases as good as "Timey-Wimey".
- IsraGeek, on 01/27/2009, -2/+4But it will feature the Bionic Woman. So that's cool, right?
- inactive, on 01/28/2009, -1/+3I saw it and he was outstanding.

Probably because England seems to have a more theatrical root to its entertainment industry. (IE smaller production teams, with actors who have been theatrically trained/performed) In the US we just have crap tons of people with mommy and daddy issues who flee to LA with a sob story and stars in their eyes. The result is that producers are probably tired of the crappy performers they have to wade thorough here.
To borrow a quote from 'Kiss Kiss Bang Bang':
Harry: What is it out here with these women?
Harmony: Oh please, Harry, they're no different from anywhere else.
Harry: Yes, they are. These are damaged goods, every one of them, from way back. I'm telling you, you take a guy who sleeps with 100 women a year, go into his childhood - dollars to doughnuts, it's relatively unspectacular...
Harry: [putting a cigarette in his mouth] ... Now, you take one of these... gals, who sleeps with 100 guys a year, and I *bet* you if you look in their childhood, there's something rotten in Denver.
Harmony: Denmark.
Harry: [closing his cigarette lighter] That too! But it's abandonment, it's abuse, it's, "My uncle put his ping-ping in my papa!"... and then they all come out here!
Harry: [continuing] I mean, it's literally like someone took America by the East Coast and *shook* it, and all the normal girls managed to hang on. - johnnysaucepn, on 01/28/2009, -0/+1Sheepy, when you say things like that, it's called 'projecting'.
- Kevinok, on 01/27/2009, -1/+2I really hope that they can get this episode done for easter. I don't know if I can wait any longer then that.
- RobotBuddha, on 01/28/2009, -0/+1As much as I'm going to miss Tennant in the role, part of me just wishes they'd hurry up and get on with the next season.
- MrColdheart, on 01/28/2009, -1/+2Michelle Ryan looks is so much better blond
- boogieordie, on 01/28/2009, -1/+2Best episode of the fourth season, IMHO. Lesley Sharp is superb.
- mythicflux, on 01/28/2009, -0/+1Probably a problem with the internet. This just goes to show that Mr Saxon was right...
- mythicflux, on 01/28/2009, -0/+1I believe that 'Timey-Wimey' was first used in the episode Blink (the one with the Weeping Angels were we see the first Timey Wimey detector). If thats the case you can look forward to more great stuff like that because the episode was written by Stephen Moffat, the new showrunner whose taking over for Russell Davies in the next season.
- zip000, on 01/28/2009, -1/+1They're called companions.
Also, I don't know how I'd feel about her being a new companion. She never exactly wowed me in the Bionic Woman; she wasn't bad, but she wasn't great either. Then again, maybe it was the American accent that was the problem?
Why do they/we insist on casting Brits in American shows/movies and vise versa? Sometimes it works - like House - but most of the time it's just weird. - dickinsop, on 01/28/2009, -0/+0Stephen Moffat rocks my world, it's not proper Dr Who unless I'm hiding behind a cushion at least an seeing as he writes most of the more scary episodes the new series should be much better than the last.
- bsweeney1977, on 01/30/2009, -1/+1Dugg becuz I likes Dr. Who
- wizardofgor, on 02/12/2009, -1/+0I love Doctor Who.
My favorite place to watch episodes is at www.doctorwho-episodes.com
They have all the new epoisodes. - pichinde, on 01/28/2009, -1/+0Wow, I had no idea about Tennant. I hate him in this role. Hate him hate him hate him.
Apparently I am alone in this regard... - xXSheepyXx, on 01/28/2009, -3/+2Yea its longest running sci fi franchise, doesnt mean its 'still' good. I was a huge fan 20 years ago. I think when hell freezes over you might loose that hardon you've got for the Doctor and stop defending it like ive just insulted your love child. Now get off my front page and give me something news worthy :p
- tehWyman, on 08/19/2009, -2/+1I thought it was getting canceled again or something along those lines...
- Kriztov, on 01/27/2009, -8/+2I hope its not another episode like the one where they're stuck on a shuttle with that thing that repeats everything. That was irritating to say the least.
- inactive, on 01/28/2009, -14/+1dr who gives a *****
- pichinde, on 01/28/2009, -17/+3Doctor Who crashed a long time ago:
*Torchwood tie-ins
*Cast who make the originals look like world-class shakespearean actors (some of them were)
*Writers who make the original writers look like Shakespeare
*Infiltrations of bizarre crypto-socialist, multicult BBC agenda
This show has been pillaged and destroyed. It used to be cheesy but the acting was pretty good for what it was. It was original and interesting. Not anymore. It's sanitized, brainwashing pablum.
***** you, new BBC, for having destroyed one of the best shows of my childhood. - xXSheepyXx, on 01/28/2009, -16/+2Get off my front page!
